Please forgive my ignorance, but how would one change the entire system font on AOKP to Choco cooky or something else?
Thanks!
Font installer works for me.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...edium=organic&utm_term=font+installer+android
I tried that, but no choco cooky..
And it somehow doesn't apply to the entire system, just parts of it..
Is there a root explorer method to change everything?
Thanks!
ROM Toolbox has a font installer app. Check it out.

I am looking for a zip file that I can add all the fonts from the evo in.. maybe one I can just replace the fonts for droidsanshebrew, droidsansfallback, droidsansarabic, etc... all of them.
Anyone help? I know they have font zips to change a font, but they typically have only three font files in them..
Thanks in advance!
You can check out absolute system app its a paid app but really cool and has allot of fonts to choose from.

You know longer need to flash fonts. Check out this page. A developer created a free app to change your system fonts without needing to flash. Place your fonts somewhere on your SDCARD, set the paths and reboot. BAM. Where is that good ole thanks button again??
i want to change stock font
but i just want to be sure if
it is safe to use fontomizer
on my SGY?
im running 2.3.6 stock rom (DXKK4)
it would be a great help, tia.
Yap. Ive used it but if you want the manual way but better. Coz doing it manually lets you install a font u really want unlike fontomizer it just have presets

i'd prefer font changer if your phone is rooted, its more customizable
yes.. and i love ubuntu font. try it.
Use "Custom android font switcher", works like a charm.
What more, it has no bugs like fonts slightly placed higher than its supposed to be. It is the only app i came across (pardon me, I'm not a pro in this topic, just my experience) which replacess each and erey font in your phone, even the keyboard fonts will be changed.
thanks for the advice guys,
ill try one.. ayos!
i used font installer by jrummy and fontomizer several times... so far they are safe and worked
font installer needs root tho
Some wont work on custom roms
HERE's a SMALL GUIDE FOR CHANGING FONTS MANUALLY - ROOTED
1. download the font you want. (*.ttf)
2. make 3 copies of that font.
3. rename them by the ff:
DroidSans.ttf
DroidSans-Bold.ttf
Clockopia.ttf
4. Go to system/font and replace the fonts namely the ones stated above
**i mean delete the old fonts named DroidSans.ttf, DroidSans-Bold.ttf, Clockopia.ttf annd replace them with the one you renamed.
5. reboot. and VOILA

Fontomizer works great on my SGY... However, I have read some posts that "Font Changer" app would cause your phone to go on a boot loop.
I recomend Custom android font changer from market

are you rooted? if so, place the ttf's on the root of your memory card and use rom toolbox to apply the fonts
That's not simple.
Follow the guide at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745345
It's involving lots of manual task and it seems like there's no market application yet for this. That's the reason why the flip fonts APKs are being sold in the market.
I just went into system/fonts and replaced droidsans.ttf and droidsans-bold.ttf using rootexplorer.

Dear, all
Can someone post a guide/tutorial how to install custom font on our lovely LG Optimus G Pro? I don't want to use "push to system/font" method. . When i was using Galaxy S3 mini, i can create a custom .apk font (Flip Font) file via decompile/recompile other .apk font. But when i install those .apk font to OGP, the font doesn't show up on display setting.
So, please anybody can help? Thanks

Not sure if you're rooted or not, but have you tried RomToolbox? I use it to install my fonts, and it works great. The only time I haven't seen it work is when I try to install a "bold type" font. Other than that, it has worked for every font I have used.

It won't work on kit Kat. Rom tool box I mean. If you want some flashable fonts, there's a thread somewhere on here that I made. Either in general or Q&A. Someone posted a link and now I got hella fonts. I'd you're on 4.4x that is

I'm using KitKat.. Beanstalk 4.4 (latest one).. RomToolbox replaces the fonts on it.. I tried Carbon and a few other roms, and RoTB only replaced some of the fonts.. I rem the fonts you shared with me @Nigglenuts.. Those are great, and I'm sure the OP will find one he likes..

Hello! I had posted this flashable zip file in the font request thread but figured it would be more easily found having it's own. this will replace all your system fonts with Roboto Condensed instead of the ugly stock lg fonts :silly: . i whipped this up for my htc m8 but i have flashed it on to my lg g3 with no problems and it looks great. i have flashed it on both stock rooted and ZoneROM with no issues at all. as always nand to be safe and enjoy!
I flashed the file but when I go to settings, display, font type I only see the same stock options... Help

it will just replace the default font to roboto condensed which is the NewSmartGothic font so select that one, and then it should replace all the system fonts as well i.e. the fonts in the playstore etc.
