I am looking for a zip file that I can add all the fonts from the evo in.. maybe one I can just replace the fonts for droidsanshebrew, droidsansfallback, droidsansarabic, etc... all of them.
Anyone help? I know they have font zips to change a font, but they typically have only three font files in them..
Thanks in advance!
You can check out absolute system app its a paid app but really cool and has allot of fonts to choose from.

You know longer need to flash fonts. Check out this page. A developer created a free app to change your system fonts without needing to flash. Place your fonts somewhere on your SDCARD, set the paths and reboot. BAM. Where is that good ole thanks button again??

Here's my question, I'd like to switch out the fonts in the Rom I'm using is the Bowtie from Nebula (loving it by the way). I'd just like to switch fonts is all. What would I need to do. I read a few post a while back in some other threads that to use metamorph but the apply says for advanced users. I don't think I'm on advanced level yet but I would still like to learn.

Metamorph is really easy to use.
Download the free version from the market, once its installed you can download a zip with fonts in it then just apply the don't you want to use.
EDIT:
Search the threads for (metamorph changing fonts on the fly) and there is a zip file you can download there to use with metamorph.

You can also flash this (attached) through Clockwork. What I do is, open up this zip (use program 7zip, if you don't already, on your computer),
Take any font, rename it to DroidSans.ttf or DroidSans-Bold.ttf.. etc, copy and replace any fonts inside this zip, then flash.
Or, you can just check out the mother of all xda font threads: 200 Flashable Font Packs
I think ComfortAA (the attached one) is still my fav though.
You guys rock! I asked a question and you guys answered quick and perfect. I'm gonna try these out. Thank you thank you thank you! People like you guys and this community make my phone The Shizznit!

hm-- I'm pretty sure the attachment was straight from that thread-- are you flashing 'normally' through clockwork?

ComfortAA is my current favorite as well. I use root explorer to copy the DroidSans.ttf and DroidSans-Bold.ttf files on my sd card and paste them over the default files in the system/font folder. When I restart the phone, my font is there.
I bought Root System Font installer from the market. Over 200 fonts, you can preview the font and its easy.

are you rooted? if so, place the ttf's on the root of your memory card and use rom toolbox to apply the fonts
That's not simple.
Follow the guide at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745345
It's involving lots of manual task and it seems like there's no market application yet for this. That's the reason why the flip fonts APKs are being sold in the market.
I just went into system/fonts and replaced droidsans.ttf and droidsans-bold.ttf using rootexplorer.
Sent from my Android powered Samsung Galaxy SII: Epic 4G Touch from Sprint using the XDA App... that's a mouthful.
I can't find anything in the settings for changing the font and rom toolbox does nothing but send my phone into a boot loop... Anyone know how(can explain)?? I have a lot of font apk's from GB I'd like to use.
Go the hard way: fonts are stored under /system/fonts and you just have to replace them all you like with a root-enabled file explorer. If your fonts are in an APK pack, extract with WinRAR/WinZIP and look for .ttf files inside.

Rename to the system names (but there are many font files, do make sure which you want to replace!) and replace them. Don't forget to set permission to rw-r--r--. Then just reboot to see effect. If anything happens just flash the original ROM without wiping anything.

All of the fonts are individual apk files.. How do you extract the ttf files?

I mean, can't you open the apk's with WinRAR or WinZIP? (if necessary, change the file extension to .zip) Extract and seek .ttf files in it. I can't guarantee you will find it though, as I always directly fetch readily-available ttf files and never used these font APKs. Maybe that's different.
A bit offa topic: why change when system default (the Roboto font family) is beautiful enough?

Then you must be doing wrong, or you might haven't set correct permissions after replacing files.
Anyway, I'm free on summer vacation, so you can send me the fonts you want to use (font name or file, both are okay, BUT it has to be a font family with at least bold, italic and bold+italic variants!), and I'll see if I can pack up a flashable zip for you.

I see now what I was doing wrong. The font I was trying to use wasn't bold and I was trying to load it into a bold file in the system folder. Thank you for the quick response.
I know this isn't apart of the tread but how would you go about packing fonts in a zip to flash?

Normally I have to base my flashable zip on an already existing one, then I just replace the fonts inside, slightly tweak the update-script, repack, re-sign and all done. Dunno how to go into details...

So when I was making myself a signature file image last night, in honor of my new Recognized Contributor status, I wanted to use the font that xda-developers has in the logo. I was very happy to find that @Ganesh A made up this true type font and shared it with us! Go to his thread, please click Thanks for this nice gift, and download "All Continuum.Zip" to get all three versions of the XDA font in one zip file.
What to do with it to install on your Windows PC:
1. Open the zip. No need to extract.
2. You'll see three files inside: Light, Medium, and Bold.
3. Double click on any one of them, and then click the install button.
4. That's it! This will install that font in your Windows programs. For example, on my system now I have the xda font in Word and Photoshop. Nice! You can also use it in a ROM if you want, or in theming.
5. Do the same to install each of the three (Bold, Medium, Light).
I'm surprised more people haven't found this. Nice work, Ganesh A. (Folks, please click thanks for him. There's over a thousand downloads and at the time of this post, only 18 Likes.)
Running Revolt 7-13. No option to simply install the zip. Had to extract the ttf file and install using rom toolbox. Thanks for the link, very cool font

Hey bud. Oh sure, the "click to install" is on Windows. I'm going to edit the OP to clarify that. :good: I just thought it was an awesome font package... gotta love some xda font. Cheers.
Wow, blew right by that. Anyway, got it working. Thanks

Hello! I had posted this flashable zip file in the font request thread but figured it would be more easily found having it's own. this will replace all your system fonts with Roboto Condensed instead of the ugly stock lg fonts :silly: . i whipped this up for my htc m8 but i have flashed it on to my lg g3 with no problems and it looks great. i have flashed it on both stock rooted and ZoneROM with no issues at all. as always nand to be safe and enjoy!
I flashed the file but when I go to settings, display, font type I only see the same stock options... Help

it will just replace the default font to roboto condensed which is the NewSmartGothic font so select that one, and then it should replace all the system fonts as well i.e. the fonts in the playstore etc.
