Hi,
I have a question: (I have Galaxy S II GT-I1900G) as you know the bare version 4.0.3 official white so how can I change the battery and wifi bar.. to the color blue and also how I can change the shape to phone
I apologize for the mistakes
thank you
1. questions are asked in Q&A section
2. if you are rooted you can use rom toolbox or anything similar or if you know you can modify framework and framework-res if I remember correctly.

I want to change the notification screen to this one, is it possible? how can I do it?
Not sure I can see the identical screenshot, but there are very similar themes in JKay's theme mod thread:

Or maybe try the uot kitchen?

it is a screenshot from Steel Blue CM7 Theme for SGS2
how can I use this theme with my rom?
This is my baseband version: I9100TJJKF3
my kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100TJJKG1
build number: GINGERBREAD.JJKG1
Oh right - you could have said so...
Seems like you need a custom ROM first - choose one then the installation seems pretty straightforward, all you need is in that thread (Steel Blue thread)
If it's your first time for a custom ROM, read, read, read and search
If I will flash the custom rom and then re-flesh to my rom the theme will be gone? I have to use the custom rom all the time for this theme?
Sorry, I'm not concentrating or reading enough myself
There are themes for stock firmwares there - see post#2 - but not yours (KF3).
So if you want this theme on stock firmware, you'll have to choose another stock ROM (KF2 for example).
Yes, if you reflash stock over a custom ROM you'll lose the theme.
If it's only the notification bar you want and nothing else, I'd try the uot kitchen if I were you. I've not tried it myself, but it seems user-friendly, supports stock ROMs and you can customise just about everything.
I dont know how to use the uot kitchen, can you please help me?
I want to change the notification screen and bar to solid black, like on the pic I posted
Sorry - as said, I've never used it, and I'm offline for the next few hours.
Hope someone else can help.
Decompile SystemUI.apk, browse to /res/drawables-hdpi/ and find the picture you want to change, replace it, compile it and switch the drawables-hdpi folder in the apk

can you please explain step by step how to do it?
I'm new to android. I know how to flash roms and kernels but that's it.....
As I'm sure Bruflot is well aware of, his "advice" is something that someone new to this shouldn't touch with a bargepole.. I'm still new enough not to try...
Just tried a quick go with the uot kitchen and it will do what you want, just play with it. The "generate preview" will help enormously. If I had time I'd do it for you, but screaming kiddies await me...

Anyone who knows if there is an flashable zip to install this feature and direct me to that link,. used to have this on JJ's Hybrid 3.2 but lost it when I moved to Omega v3.2 which does not have the soft keys or navigation bar feature,. can anyone help me please,...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886684
This is the link for the mod that i used with omega v3 rom and it looks quite nice on my arc..
With this you will get xperia T lookalike onscreen navigation bar(blue), more beautiful font, and jellybean designed statusbar with stock battery design.
Btw,there are more options in the Themes and Apps section, however for me this mod look stunning..just remember to prepare a backup in case you dislike the mod that i suggested.
Sorry but you're on wrong section, please go to Q&A. Thanks
I'm reporting that.
You can try this way:
The soft keys are modified in framework-res.apk, you can use a suitable modded framework-res.apk for your ROM (find in forum) -> make a flashablezip. If you cant make a flashablezip, paste that apk into system/framework using Rootexplorer
I want a iPhone-styled status and notification bar (without the time on it, preferably hidden, and toggle buttons), but I can't find any custom made status bars like that in this thread or any other thread, so I decided to ask out for anyone to help me do one (yes, I am considered a noob).
Anyone who can make something like that here? I don't want to flash my ROM again because it took a lot of my time reflashing and editing lots of system apps (with the sad case of using a outdated ODIN). Is it possible to just changing the insides of SystemUI.apk?
Device: Samsung Galaxy W i8150
Build: GINGERBREAD.XXLMG
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-1206759
Baseband: I8150XXLMG
P.S.: I flashed my W with a stock ROM and removed lots of its system apps that I do not use, and this used up a lot of my time, so I don't like the idea of reflashing my phone, just want to change the status bar to iPhone-style (especially iPhone 4S with the time icon removed OR at least positioned in the middle of the status bar). I have been trying a few stuff on my own via these threads by Ticklefish (credits to him):

If anyone can make it, I would like to ask you to do two versions of it:
1. iPhone stock version with transparency of 75-100%
2. iPhone stock version
Thanks for your help.
Hey guys,
I really need help on changing the battery icon on my galaxy s3. I jusr hate how it looks. so I downloaded a program called ROM Toolbox Pro (im sure you've heard of it), installed it and downloaded the icon pack (Circular Colourful). I installed it and none of my battery icons changed. I restarted SystemUI.apk and nothing happened. I did a reboot and nothing happened. keep in mind that iam rooted and have custom recovery. i asked a question/ made a post on the bootloop that I encountered when changing SystemUI.apk, but I fixed it. so could someone help me solve this problem?
Thanks
Nevermind, fixed: just installed previous version.

Same Problem
Hi I was just curious what you meant by previous version. I am having the same problem. I'm rooted, running a custom ROM and I was able to change my boot animation fine with Rom Toolbox Pro, but it's not changing the Battery Icons I chose.

As an option, this a very cool statusbar icon creator you use from a PC to make a flashable zip. Some of the settings need to be tweaked to assign the proper names to the pngs. for example. the signal output has to be renamed tw_stat_sys_6_level_signal_ so it replaces the proper files on our phone. I also found success using a working, flashable zip that replaces the battery icons and just replacing the images in that file with the ones i made and rezipping. Its very easy, but seems more geared toward international S3's, so thats why it needs a couple tweaks. The options for colors and styles is pretty impressive!
