Wallpaper shows black edge, doesnt fit properly. That and Wifi Calling Error crap that I cant get rid of.. Oh well. Was a pretty good rom, just not something I would use for a DD

No wallpaper issues here. As for the Wi-Fi calling thing, all you need to do is disable Wi-Fi calling in settings. It's posted in the forum.

Nope was just sharing. Guess I need to brush up on the sharing rules around here; my bad.

Hey man not knocking you or flaming its just nice to get the OK first.....also tmibile has similar threads but they put them in general since they didn't actually develop anything and its just more of a find

Gotcha, I appreciate the feedback. I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Agreed, I'm running R7 now and have had 0 issues, just turn off WiFi calling and setup the ATT apn and you are good to go. Rom is smooth, great battery life.

How are you tethering? If I go into the settings and try turning on the mobile hotspot it doesn't turn on. I noticed your signature lists the T-Mobile version number. I take it you did not modify the build prop to be AT&T.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

Just as an FYI, the link in the OP takes you to the FreeGS3 R7 forum on the T-Mo board. That has thread has the APN settings for AT&T users, however their settings didn't work for MMS on my phone. I think this was because the MMS proxy is not set in the APN info on that thread. Here are the APN settings i am using (and i am only using one, not two separate like in the T-MO thread):
Name: PTA
APN: pta
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Auth: none
APN type: default,mms,supl,hipri

are you guys flashing ktoonsez at&t kernel after installing the rom or sticking with the included kernel? just curious if you're able to get lte with the included kernel. i've flashed a few t-mo roms and always flashed kt747 afterwards just to be safe. just curious to see what others are doing.

Cspire users - ROMs that work best

I'm currently on avatar and love it. I've tried pacman, peoples, carbon. I must have data so the ROMs that have voice dialer so I can edit apns. What ROMs are working best for you. Data is a must, MMS is not for me. Pacman is a bit unstable, peoples is awesome but can't edit apns, carbon is cool too, one can change apns the other from original section cant. Just give a quick rundown of what works for you.

Well basically yes
I've found the one that I really like just curious as to the ones other cspire users have and what works best for them we seem to be few and far between on here just wanted a thread for us to discuss ROMs.

Went back to a cspire rom from sxtp developers 4.1.2 data is to important for me and this thing is stable. Running agat kernel and acid audio mod. will probably keep this a while.

Which version of Agat's kernel did you use? I running cspire 4.1.2 stock/ rooted. I have been reading through the forums but I want to make sure I don't brick my phone & I'm still new at this. Any information will be most appreciated. Thank you in advance!

If you don't mind me asking which version of the ktoonsez kernel did you use? I flashed the KT747 TW 4.1.2 Sprint version and my phone kept rebooting itself. So basically I got nervous and restored the phone back the way it was. Also on the Agat kernel everything seems to be working fine except the camera. So I'm just wondering what I need to do IF the sprint kernels are supposed to work our c spire phone?

not sure if that's enough to make it work or not though?
Yea I'm on MyRom Revolution v6, and all I did was flash the modem on top of it. This morning noticed LTE was on in Tempe. It was only for an hour but I'll check again when I get home.
I'm running the Jedi Masters 10 rom and I just flashed the new modem and change the APN to "fast.t-mobile.com" and I do not see any LTE. But in the data speed test, i noticed it was definitely slower than before.
I am in downtown NYC which should be one of the cities that has LTE, but maybe it's not turned on yet.
Im near LIC queens NYC and I flashed the modem and changed the apn and I did noticed my downloads were slower. I will try again today when im in Manhattan.

Yes, I used the default apn and nothing really changed. Then changed the apn to fast.t-mobile.com and still got the same speed. I 'm guessing until they flip the LTE on, won't notice any changes.

Anyone have any knowledge on getting MMS/picture mail/multi page texts to work? I am running an fl24 root with revolts jb rom
Let me guess...you're on Sprint, aren't you?
How are you running on fl24 and calling it a JB ROM? Is your modem Fl24 and your ROM JB? If so, you need to flash a JB modem.

I don't know. Kind of a noob. This is what my about screen says (screenshot). Will it work better if I go to a jb modem?
If that is a TW based ROM, you need to flash a JB modem. If it is AOKP/AOSP OR CM10.1, you fan keep it as is.

I've been struggling with this problem since flashing Dirty Unicorns. It's very often a WiFi problem. Do you have problems with MMS on WiFi and 3g, or just one?
Sprint's MMS is very flaky on aokp/cm10.1.

Very likely your APNs are borked. Try this fix, and if that doesn't work, use these APNs instead.
I haven't had time to exhaustively test MMS over WiFi with these fixes yet, but they got them working over 3g at least.
Update: I sent myself an MMS from my wife's iPhone while on WiFi, and it worked just fine using the above fix with the second APN xml file.

T mobile Modems

Im looking for the best modems to run on 4.3 tmobile. Can you use the 4.1 or previous firmware modems on 4.3...current set up is jedix2 and almost all the modems I have used drop signal easier than when I was on jedi 20. Any help would be appreciated.

UVUCMK7 is the best option. The only reason to step away grin that is a device unlock situation. Using the 4.1.x modems you will see poor connectivity running on TW 4.3 ROMs. UVUCMK7 seems to have better responsiveness to changing signal values and post call LTE reconnection.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
