Exactly how it is read a radio that is standard for ICS. Are you on GB or ICS? CM9 thread has link to ICS radio as well as most threads for ICS roms. Check in development

first off I would like to say welcome to xda, secondly I want you to understand this is more of a tutorial development spot than a just sit back and ask type of forum. Hey I can assure you that any question you have or can think up has been answered within these forums.
Please feel free to use google or the search engine provided by xda. Now I am only trying to save you from future bashing. Take your time and use the stickys but research before asking. Plenty of threads in here with radio links for you to try out. Please be careful though since you are new at this..

Ok you are already on an ICS rom, did you come from GB or did you start with an ICS rom (speaking of your non-rooted rom)... I purchased my phone with GB then used Kies to update to ICS and at that time I had an ICS radio... No need to flash and ICS compatible radio after that...

Can we flash ics skyrocket roms?

Seems to me the development in the skyrocket forum is ahead of ours. Can we flash skyrocket ics rooms without modification from the skyrocket forum or do we have to wait until the t989 devs hack it to work. Also what must be modified to get the skyrocket ics roms to boot?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
All of your questions can be answered in the development thread.
Edit: why are you asking here? According to your sig you've already got a sky rocket...Why not head to the appropriate forum?

[Q] Best gingerbread rom?

i was just looking for a good stable gingerbread rom but blazer 4.1 is not an option because there is no download link.
Go with either RUJELUS22_Blu_Kuban_EL29_V1.2.0_ODEXED or Calkulin_s_E4GT_ROM_v3.0. Both very good roms. Im using calks right now. Very good battery and super fast ui

I left ICS to use two great gingerbread roms. I love New Sensation rom (great without even using battery app) and blazr rom

Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
I'd go under the devs profile on here and look to see if he has a webpage. Or even look up the wiki page for our phone and go under roms. It may be listed there with another DL link. I'll look around and see if I can find a link for you

As long as the EL29 (GB) rom has a GB kernel with it. Yes. But the safest way to go is EL29 direct boot kernel and wipe and flash from that recovery.

You don't need the el29 direct boot kernel to flash back to gingerbread anymore. I just flash my nandroid backup when i want to return back. Or just flash your el29 ROM you want. Just wipe data, dalv, and cache.the recovery/kernels the blue Cuban uses is safe to do that now.

I don't think anybody wants to port touchwiz because of how bad it is
It's probably somehow really incompatible with our phones too so it would probably maybe be laggy if we did.

The install order for putting the Skyrocket version on a Hercules is:
1. Embryo 7 (FROM skyrocket)
2. 4.1.2 Hercules Kernel*
3. Hercules Radio (UVMC6)
4. Orange theme update (or Stock theme zip)
