You pretty much just download a kernel with cwm built in and flash the .tar file with Odin.
All kernels should be found in the link above

That depends on why you need cwm? Flash new roms? Flash mod zips?

You can get this via sfhubs autoroot or via the kernel thread.

Thanks guys I got it, I am really not liking the stock rooted Rom, how hard for me now to go to a custom Rom?
I know everyone likes different things but all I really want is a ICS streamlined Rom with all the bloat removed that everything works and is quick.
Any recommendations and instructions on how to get from where I am at now to the custom Rom?

If your stock ics kernel you can mobile Odin, Odin or flash a custom kernel, such as agats 5.4 kernel and then flash an ics rom. Or if your on a custom kernel, just flash the rom you want. All rom OPs have instructions. Obviously those who know me know what rom I will say, but we have tons of themes and mods for the "Goodness" rom. Pretty simple really. If you need help you can get me on gtalk, name is in my sig

This ROM is completely stock with exception of root/busybox added and it uses the repacked EL26 that Chris41G posted so that you keep CWM. Once a repacked EL29 kernel is up, I will reupload the ROM to include it
All must be flashed through CWM
Stock Rooted EL29 ROM (v1.0)
Stock Rooted De-odex'd EL29 ROM (v1.0)
EL29 Modem
EL29 Stock Kernel - No CWM
Thanks to puertoblack2003 for posting the tar of this version
Yeah boi! Thank you

Its De-odexed, it should be a little smaller and the odex files are built into the apk.
:| I just flashed EL26 yesterday too. :|
can i install this and then install the el13? i just want the stock rom.
You can go back to el13 if you want....that is what I use.
This seems to be just a small update to EL26 but great post. Using it now, hotspot mod seems to work with it just fine.
question, is there a preferred order of updating? like should i do the kernal first or modem first etc?
also, i am looking forward to trying this out because el26 was horrible on my phones battery life so i was about to go back to el13 today. but now i'll try this

This ROM is completely stock with exception of root/busybox added.
Big thanks to sfhub for posting ODIN tar files.
All I did is pulling system from my phone after flashing it via ODIN and make a flashable zip for those of you who prefers zip files.
Rom must be flashed through CWM and it has stock FD16 kernel so you will loose custom recovery.
Stock FD16 can be downloaded here:
1. http://jumbofiles.com/re8nrv19h4kn/FD16_Stock_Rooted.zip.html
2. http://d-h.st/TPp Mirror.
Stock FD16 Deodexed rom can be downloaded here:
1. http://jumbofiles.com/hpmrx9d7gwnl/FD16_Stock_Rooted_deodexed.zip.html.
Thanks to RainMotorsposrt we have one more mirror.

The only difference is that you flash this in CWM recovery.
No need for PC.
Other than that it's exacly same rom as posted by sfhub.
Thank you sir...
Gezz, I didn't even get a chance to flash fd10! Lol.
Thanks agate, I too will wait for your themed version ;-)

This is not an oficial update from sprint.
This is a leaked software.
If you are on GB rom you can flash this but only after applying Calculings format all zip file.
If you flash directly over GB without wiping data you may end up in boot loop or worse.
I think this build has improved battery usage.
It's too soon to say but so far the battery usage graph is pretty horizontal.
Let's hope Sammy and Sprint did something about ICS battery.

I flashed the Kernel and Modem last night and I have to say that I agree with you. So far it seems battery has slowed to a crawl. Hopefully that stays the case.

LOL Last I checked there is no FH13 repack for CM10, FH13 is a TouchWiz kernel you cant just flash it with an AOSP rom.

also the fact that, and I do believe, that the kernel included with CM10 is based off of sbrissen's kernel, which is based off of the smdk4210 common kernel, or simply, the international sgs2 kernel, which would need certain proprietary files from the international sgs2 in order for the phone to boot.

Kernel or Rom?
Here is the stock Rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737859
Flashing that should give you the stock kernel back too...
You may want to check in the development section I know people were starting on archive of stock ROMs and stock kernels as well as stock radios.
Just a FYI whenever you root your phone you want to make an nandroid backup immediately in case something like this happens.

I am currently running Whom ROM, and I have a bit of confusion regarding modems.
I've seen it mentioned everywhere that you must flash a stock ROM, then flash the modem. However, after already doing a clean flash into this ROM, which runs MA7, I have no problems just using Mobile ODIN to flash LK8 Modem and the LK8 All-In-One. I am now running LK8 on this ROM with no issues.
Why would I even consider booting into a stock ROM before I flash a new Modem? I've done this same thing when I tried MA2 as well with no issues. About Phone even showed correct Modem, so it is all flashed through Mobile Odin correctly.
I have no errors whatsoevever. ROM runs smooth as butter.
I just don't see why I have to go to a stock ROM...perhaps someone can explain.
You dont need to go to stock rom to flash an updated modem just flash the all in one that are floating around and enjoy..... and as far as I know the moden doesn't really matter as jellybomb is bssed off lk8 and im on ma7..... running great and no issues!!!!!
