When i reinstall superboot, i have access to my phone, by he's reset. And when i reboot, it do the same problem and stay at the screen with red text.

Superboot is only temporarily installed, it will be removed once you reboot. You need the right boot.img for your currently installed ROM.
What is your ROM prior to trying install CM10 ?

That was the official ROM. Never did that before. Started yesterday to unlock it, and first time trying to change the ROM. So that was the official.

Try KISS kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1765687
Use the For stock ROM and all other NOT CM based ROMS, the "Without preset"
Once it boot, check what is your official software version.

Just to be sure. This is the right link ? http://www.mediafire.com/?b83on8sk83rka1l
And what i do with the boot.img ?

Now you made me worry. You shouldn't try the custom rom when you don't know what you should do with the boot.img. Just like you tried a wrong version of CM10 that is meant for PrimoC but you flashed it on a PrimoU. That's the start of your problem.

Thanks for the help sir.

The red message comes with the recovery. Nothing can be done about it at the moment.
So enjoy your working phone And read more before you proceed with anything.

That is more on personal preference, you need to try all of them and decide which suit your needs.
Most important, make a nandroid backup of your current ROM before you proceed to flash other ROMs. Take note of your current official ROM software version no. and make sure only flash the PrimoU/GSM ROM.

Better to stay stock and rooted as you have done now. Wait for some time (days),go through important forums and try to understand what needs to be done and what should be avoided. The devs here are awesome and the one v too. So be careful of trying new ones as soon as you see a rom thread in the dev section.

asking what is the best ROM will normally lead to an ugly arguments. You can do what I did: download all of the ROMs available for my phone, compare among them, choose the one I like.

[Q] Correct Boot.img For HBoot 1.39?

First off, sorry for posting here, I'd like to post in the actual rom thread but I don't have 10 posts yet.
I've installed the avatar rom, its getting to the custom splash screen and then freezing.
This is normally a boot.img problem.
The thing is just I've updated my HBoot to 1.39 and I don't know what boot.img files are compatible.
I've flashed several boot.img files from various roms I've used before, but none seem to be working.
The last comment in the avatar thread is this :
If you're on the new hboot you need a special boot.img that is everywhere on the forums.

Does anybody have any idea where I can find this boot.img that is everywhere on the forums?
Because I can't find it....
You just flash the boot image from within the Rom zip file?
I do that with every other Rom I've tried. I have no idea if/why that Rom requires a special boot.img.

Because some ROMs are incompatible with newer hboots.
@OP
See attachment. I am assuming that a modded boot for CM10 does the trick since Avatar is heavily based on CyanogenMod. Let me know if it works.
You must always use the boot.img supplied in ROM.zip. If you flash ROM A and then use boot.img from ROM B, it ain't going to work.
At the moment you need a special boot.img with nearly all 4.1.x AOSP ROMs, with a new hboot version. With 4.2.x ROMs you don't need any tinkering just flash and go.
Thanks for the modded boot.
Yes dude.
It works.
You awesome genius bastard you.
My pleasure!
It might be worth noting that GPS is broken with this boot. No workaround yet, you need to flash an Android 4.2 ROM if you really need to use it.
Haha dude, spent 3 hours trying to get this ONTO my phone.
I think it'll stay for at least a day or two...
Thanks again.
I need help to recover
Hi,
I am new to rooting, I've unlocked my HTC One X, and have backed up the stock rom through the recovery nandroid, I've flashed the Renovate 1.1 ROM, then I've decided to go back to stock ROM, when I've done it I would be stuck on Airplane mode, and this happened when I first tried to flash the renovate without flashing the boot.img that comes with it...when I've flashed the boot.img the problem is solved...so now I need help getting the boot.img file for the backed up stock rom...any ideas where I can start from?

lost backup stock rom

I've been trying to install a custom rom on my hox and have had very little luck. I read that to install the CM10.1 rom I had to flash a new boot.img which I did successfully. when I tried to install the rom I got a different error than usual so I decided to just give up. I went ahead and did a factory reset from CWM and cleared the caches and then tried to restore my backup rom image. but when I did, it gave me an error "unable to mount sd". I was able to fix the SD problem but the method I used made me return to stock recovery and then install TWRP. This means I lost my backup of the stock rom.
I think I need to flash a stock boot.img over the one I tried to use for CM10.1 but I'm not sure.
hopefully someone can help. thanks.

to flash the boot image, I extracted the rom zip file and removed the boot image. I went into the cmd and typed "flashboot flash boot boot.img".
to flash the rom, I moved the roms zip file onto the storage of the device (drag and drop) and then went into CWM and cleared the caches, did a factory reset, and then selected the zip file to be installed.
here is a picture of the error I got when I tried to install the rom: see attachment
the error is on the second line of code in the updater-script file. other attempts to install the rom gave me an error on the first line until I read that the first line had to be deleted for it to work on the hox.
May be an issue with CWM. Have a read here...... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250785

CWM might be the reason the rom installation was aborted but I just want to return to stock. the stock rom is installed, I think the only problem is that the boot image is wrong. I searched around and can't find a stock boot image. I saw some tutorials on using RUU to do a restore but it seems a lot more complicated than just flashing the stock boot image. if you think RUU is the best method, please help me pick the correct RUU.

May be it's a bad download? Download the CM rom zip again and then try to flash it! Use the latest Philz touch recovery...
1. Flash boot.img and then fastboot erase cache
2. Go to recovery and wipe everything
3. flash the rom.zip/gapps.zip and reboot!
If you still want a RUU, then post the result of fastboot getvar version-main

I think I'm just going to RUU. I google searched the hboot and radio numbers from my phone and found a thread where someone had the exact same numbers so I think it makes sense to use the same RUU. here is the info for my phone:
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.14.0002
RADIO-0.19as.32.09.11_2
OpenDSP-v29.1.0.45.0622
eMMC-boot
I tried using the 'fastboot getvar version-main' command it doesn't give me a number, it only says "version-main: " which is weird.
anyway the ruu I'm considering is called: "RUU_EVITA_UL_ICS_40_S_Cingular_US_2.20.502.7_Radio_0.19as.32.09.11_2_10.105.32.25L_release_271865_signed"
will that work? I think I will forever brick my phone if I use the wrong one.

Update failed and the phone freezed

Hi,
I tryed to Update my phone with original rom trought the phone. First try and it tells me trath there is a error (Status 7). Then i found a way how to skip this error (with deleting of the assets from script file) and install it. And after that my fight with the phone starts. After the install the OS start reboot continuesly. Somehow i flash the boot.img and start Philz Touch 5 Recovery system. After that flash the ROM with Cyanogen. First i got the same Error (Status 7) and once again fix it. Then install it and the phone starts. But after 30 seconds is freeze and can't do anything, only restart. The HBOOT version is 0.95. I thin that maybe this error (Status 7) comes with any reason, and maybe this becomes from wrong ROM.
Please if someone could help! The phone is not mine and i didn't fix it should pay it . If you need any other info just send me a message.
Thank you in advance!
ufff...first...this thread will be moved...and i hope very fast...this is dev thread not q+a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
next....i dont know....you did so much massive wrong....please buy a i thing...really...and never flash a custom rom...or do a research or asking before..if you dont understand what you are doing....i also was a beginner in the past....but i can good read and follow and ask...not just flash...äähhm..what iḿ doing...it do not start anymore
you should really read before do flashing
--------------------------------
from what i read you have a custom recovery...did you maked a nandroid backup before you did anything...if yes...restore it and flash the boot.img of it..reboot and you are done...if not search a rom what works on hboot 0.95...means no jb
flash it..and its boot.img
before you can flash a original rom...means ruu...you should research..there are some guides here
i dont think cyanogen can be installed on hboot 0.95......
I think you should've updated the HBOOT on forehand. The Status 7 error is a check, not a fault.
You can download a RUU from one of the stickies in the Android Development forums and revert to stock, then update (incl HBOOT) and then try again.

Easiest way now is to restore the nandroid backup you probably didn't make before messing around with the superuser.zip !

Well you need a stock nandroid backup that has the same main version number 4.19.720 and restore it. As long as you don't have that you can't go back to stock. But there are custom roms based on pure stock looks. You can install that too.

if not what should i do, pls give some detailed guide, cause i really dont like cyangenmod, and the other stock looking roms have the installation guide that is quite complex for me.
thanks

You can't install anything like that via fastboot if phone is locked...you need to be unlocked and for the latest cm roms like cm 11 that recovery is too old... He can unlock too, flash a recovery make a nandroid backup without flashing another Rom and there is your backup
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk
Other roms installs the same way as CM. Flash the boot.img make a full wipe and install the rom.zip....done
Here is the nandroid backup for HTC 038 4.19 - https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B3ipMMzpaJW4bGpMVTRNRHFpOUk/edit
But they're seperate files and you need to download them all and place them in the right folder.

i have flashed the android revolution hd rom. this rom is the perfect one, just the same as htc stock rom.you guys were really helpful.i would like to know many things about kernel and kernel flasher. what kernels actually does? i tried search the forum but couldn't find a simple post about it.
i like using android, and i wanna know most of it if i can.......thanks
Simple explanation, the kernel and hboot function sort of as a bios of a pc. It interacts with the software.
A kernel flasher....you don't need that if you flash the boot.img (kernel) straight from fastboot. The flasher does the same.

Softbrick or sth else? Ideas welcome

Hi guys,
I tried to make a custom rom on my new HTC10 - something goes wrong (no it wasnt my first one )
But now I am a little bit stucked:
First the data:
** UNLOCKED **
htc_pmeuhl PVT S-OFF
CID-11111111
MID-2PS620000
ColorID-WHT00
LK-1.0.0.0000
[email protected]
OpenDSP-v20.0.8996.00007_0809
OS-2.41.401.41
Aug 2 2017,12:18:15(857212)
The Error happend after "updating" the firmware cause the Lee-Rom suggested the newst one. After the first "Loop" I tried the next one and the next and the next... I dont know how much Firmwares I tried honestly...
I am able to boot into TWRP and I am able to come back to Stock Recovery... So that will work... Maybe my partition crasehd with the Rom?
Any Idea or a little step by step suggestion?
I did the "How to root and TWRP" - Youtube tutorial by Rootjunky and until than everything worked fine... after that the failed Firmware-Update...
I have an EU-Phone, based in Germany
Hope anyone can help and thanks a lot for any ideas!
Cheers

You are on the latest firmware for you phone. Did you try flash a US Unlocked firmware? Best thing to do is to flash the latest WWE RUU. Thanks @Kisakuku
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817550096634797504
Download and rename the zip to 2PS6IMG. zip
Place on external sdcard
Boot to download mode and press volume uo to flash. The RUU will erase EVERYTHING but you will be completely stock.

RUU = Rom Update Utility. It flashes the phone completely as if it came out of the box. Firmware, software.... the whole thing.

Thank you very much guys!

Yup, flash the RUU, the bootloader will indeed remain unlocked. Flash TWRP and install the desired custom rom

Thanks a lot... for people who stucking around like me:
1. use the link in post 2 and install
2. flash twrp ( https://twrp.me/htc/htc10.html) explained there
3. go into twrp do a data format or wipe ... or both and flash rom - gapps - supersu
4. reboot and wait sth like 5 minutes

You mention flash gapps, for sense roms you don't have to do that, for aosp roms yes. But most of the time it's mentioned in the OP of aosp roms that you have to flash it twice, or flash the boot.img seperatly via fastboot to make it work. The correct gapps will do wonders too...... so i guess one of those things were the issue.
