does any good screen protectors for the glide? theirs a lot of sticker ones but i looking for a one that help reduce scratches as well.
I heard LiquidArmor is pretty good. The company I work for sells it. However, I am not one who is pro screen protector. Use the gorilla glass your momma gave you

i was thinking about a protector cos i'm living outside of the NA region and afraid that it will be hard to replace/fix the screen itself.
I use this, Xtreme_guard ones.
I'm very satisfied and they're very cheap.

Gorilla Glass isn't exactly scratch-proof... While it's a fair bit better than typical glass, I live in the desert, and sand sure does a number on it.
I already bought a few screen protectors, but failed everytime to get it on in a decent way.
This "lip" at the sides of the screen keep messing it up >:
Have you guys some tips to get it on easier?

I use this : http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221009080994
Zagg Invisible Shield is a very good protection against scratches and dirt. One was gifted with my phone at first, and I ruined it in my pocket with my keys. I really think it saved my phone this day. So I bought this again but it was hard to found. Happily, it is easy to set with the provided fluid. ^^;
Now I have the full zagg protection (screen and back) with a Speck case.
didnt understand how it can help protect the back panel,
i bought the extrme_guard one, hope it will be good. didnt received it yet.
quick re-cap on extreme guard screen protector, it does it jobs pretty well, but the screen protector itself get scratch rely easy. but as i said the scratch don't pass to the screen it self, so it 75 percent good. its pretty cheap via eBay. cost like 5 bucks with delivery and got a replacement straight after the first one scratched while appalling (maybe its my fault for not doing it right).
so take it with a grain of salt.
maybe next one i will buy will be zaggs one.
ok, the extreme guard is not good, it peels off after few days. i will go with the zagg one hope it will be better.
Just a heads up, xtremeguard has 70% off the entire site and shipping is free. Use the coupon code 70OFF
You can get a screen protector for the Glide for $1.50. Considering most screen protectors are this cheap anyway, might as well invest in a quality one.
It's a pretty good deal for those of you that are into wet applications
http://www.xtremeguard.com/Samsung-...de_screen_protector.htm?CartID=1#.UPSet2cwhPc
The full body protection is a much better deal, but sadly there isn't one for the Glide
I'm with xtremeguard ones. They last for about 6-7 months but i think they're totally worth the price and the quality is great. I've bought three: the first one has gone a few months ago due to accidental rubbing that slowly pulled up the corners and the whole protector; the second is the one i have on. It's great. The third is in my drawer just in case of need.
It would be a very good choice (especially consdering the price).
I bought three cheap screen protectors for US$3 on Amazon and overall I'm happy with them. I don't have experience with the more expensive ones, though.

Hi, my device is HTC Cingular 8525. I want to get a screen protector film. I do have one now pushed on my phone, but its too cheap as I can see scrathes I made on it after one week use. I want get a new better one that doesn't have such kind of problem. I already look a lot of products. ZAGG's InvisibleShield ones seem good but I don't think buying a film for 15 dollars when my phone only worth 100 dollars is a good idea. Also I found on Ebay some item ask 10$ including shippment, but I don't know whether they are good. Therefore I want to ask: Anyone here has any recommendation? (Website links, keywords, ebay seller name, all welcomed) I want a screen protector totally charges below $10 with a reasonable protection against scrathes (both screen and film itself should be okay with scrathes made by stylus pen in normal use)
Proporta. One word.
Excellent - except for very HighRes devices...as you see the grain there. However, generally, dont expect to get more than 3 to 6 months out of such a thing.
I've always liked ClearTouch Anti-Glare ($13) on my Hermes!

sounds a lot like InvizibleShield http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield I've had one on my touch pro and it survived everything i threw in my pocket. No scratches or marks on my screen. The full body skin was decent, corners started to come away after a few months use and i was about to send in for a replacement as they also have lifetime warranties when i got an upgrade to the touch pro 2
On ebay there are also numerous protectors to be found
try 3m vikuiti screen protectors

I have only Screen Protectors from Brando,a little bit more Expensive, but a lot Better!
I work as a Welder,so for me it´s important to have a Strong Surface because of all the Metal Dirt from my Work

I like using screen protectors on my phone due to the fact it helps protect the LCD screen from dirt/dust and even if you dropped it screen first. Heads up don't get the mirror screen protector, they are hard to keep clean and it leaves your hand prints all over. I see it is that the above-linked screen protector is so cheap that it's worth a shot, and it means you don't have to worry about being too careful where you keep your Phone Touch. I'm definitely glad I have it. Just make sure that you take the time to affix it. Check this website: Uxsight.com
Hello
The "first generation" of screen protectors were made from very thin films based on the concept that an extra layer between the two surfaces (screen and stylus) would provide the needed protection to prolong the life of the device. These screen protectors came (and still come) in packs of 10 to 20 protectors and are hand-cut by the end consumer to fit the specific device. Such screen protectors, while offering extra protection, did not completely fill the need in the marketplace. They peeled up easily and they scratched almost as easily as the screens, causing the protector to be replaced often.
I have seen some good reviews of the ViewGuard Anti-Glare Matte Screen Protector online. What do you guys think?
ebay is the best place

That's the response I always get. I have the Realook screen protector, I think you can only get it from Amazon.
I've been very happy with Ghost Armor.
I like Seidio's Ultimate Screen Guard.
HTC EVO 4G screen protector
This is where i ordered my screen protector, much cheaper than local shops. crystal and just like you never use a protector on your screen.
I forgot the name brand, but I have a privacy protector. Not because I want to conceal my privacy but because most privacy protectors offer the thickest of SP's!
100% recommend Zagg.
Great protection, dosn't smudge, and lifetime warrenty. I have sent mine back twice now (first time was because I managed to get dirty under it, 2nd because I shattered my screen) and I get a brand new set. Peel it off send it back, done.
Hey,
I agree zagg all day every day! Their protectors are cheap thin, the feel is amazing, they protect from scratches and you can beat them up but it keeps your screen safe! they are easy to apply with solution, and best part when you want a new one just pay a few bucks for shipping send them back the old one and its free!
this video says all! hope i helped!

Zagg is by far the best imho
I had ZAGG on mine for several months. It worked great. I took it off because I didn't like the feeling of it compared to the "glass" feel. I've had it off for a couple months and still no scratches and I like the phone a lot better without it.
I just tried the new anti-glare version from zagg, it was horrible!!! It was like looking through crystallized glass, especially when there was white background. I went back to the original zagg and love it.
I use the one that came with my OtterBox. I thought I was going to hate it but rarely even notice its there any more.
Clarivue. Can barely tell the difference between it and the glass. Just bought my gf some generic ones off Amazon for her shift and the quality was really good for a quarter of the price. Don't think I'll be buying the name brand versions anymore but if I did I'd go with clarivue.

I also use the one that came with my Otterbox case. Before that I also used Invisashield(Spellcheck ).
The touch screen is more prone to breaking from pressure or impact then from scratching.

I have to say Zagg is the best. For one, if you have them (or someone like best buy mobile install it) both the screen protector and the installation have a lifetime warranty. Meaning if your screen starts to peel off, take it back to Zagg get a new one free, and get the new one put on for free!
i dont like screen protectors and cases and mi phone is perfect but depends how you use it
i've used an the otterbox one for a bit and then a zagg when that wore off but now i have SGP STEINHEIL anti fingerprint one. i didnt really care bout the fingerprint part but liked that it was slightly matte so its wayyy easier to see with sunglasses on
I'm using the one that I came with the otterbox. It has been on since September, with heavy use/abuse. Its just barely starting to peel at the corners.

Zagg since launch day. Has a couple of pretty decent "marks", but when the screen is on you cannot even notice it. It is the only protection that I use. No peeling so far.
-Art
Zagg! You cant beat the warranty if something does happen to it. If you can find a kiosk let them install it. Its the only thing I will let someone else work on my phone.
Well.. I managed to scratch my screen somehow.. just a small, almost undetectable scratch but still.. made me feel like **** all day long..
XtremeGUARD screen protector - I just bought one for 5$ incl shipping, I've heard only good things about it really, anyone has any experience with it?
I thought this screen was fortified glass. How did you manage to scratch it? I use ghost armor. Expensive but good.

Not that fortified apparently.. I have no idea how it got the scratch.. it NEVER leaves my pocket, and I have nothing in my pocket besides my phone.. so I was really surprised. And bummed.. the thing is that its barely noticeable but just knowing that its scratched really upsets me.. oh well, maybe it'll be less noticeable with the screen protector on.
Xtremeguard is very good for the money. Best budget screen protector IMHO!
When I have money, I go Zagg though
I haven't used Xtremeguard on a Nexus yet, but I've used them on two other phones of mine and have loved them. I personally haven't gotten any orange peel, and the fit has been good. The customer service is good too if you get shipped a botched one.
When I get a nexus, that's probably what I'll be buying.
I just got the 3 screen protectors and hate them all
1. Case-Mate: hate it cause it's not clear
2. Rearth (Came with my Ringke SLIM): It's cut to the same height/width of the screen, but because of the curved glass, the edges don't stick
3. Martin Fields: WTF, it's an orange peal orgy.
I've read lots of negative reviews about the Zagg.
I haven't heard of Ghost Armor. Is it 100% clear and does it fit without pealing???
I so wish Power Support would make SPs for Android phones, it's a killer product on my iPad and my wife' iPhone.
These things are amazing. Had them on 4 Phones and they are so clear and easy to apply.

Expensive glass screen protectors like glassTr or whatever else. I got one of the 8$ tempered glass screen protectors off eBay and. Have been rocking it about a month now. Thing looks beautiful and is tempered and oleophobic or whatever it's called. Went on perfect the first time and I love the feel if the glass. Just like the original screen. Have had zero issues with touch sensitivity or anything

Can you post some ebay links?
John.
I'm sure these glass protectors look good initially, but what I'd be interested in seeing is how they hold up long term after several months. My understanding is some of the cheaper glass protectors have issues lifting at the edges due to poorly made adhesive. I have an iLoome incoming and I'm worried even it will have lifting issues.
This seems to be the cheapest seller currently. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perfect-Qua...l_Phone_Screen_Protectors&hash=item51b23a2b92

I actually had a spigen glass screen protector before , removed it due to bad installation and bought a 8$ one . Found to be exactly the same. no issues what so ever.
Spigen and mime or w.e they are , are all ripoffs. just buy a aftermarket one. They also replace it for free if its not delivered to you in pristine condition.

Much sure you are applying in a relatively dust free area. Bubbles that won't come out are usually dust getting stuck between the screen and the protector. The glass protectors are less likely to get bubbles from non dust issues. I bought a MIME and while expensive at 25 bucks, it came with a tack sheet that removes any dust that you might not see.
If the cheap glass protectors work for you, great. 25 bucks is not a lot to spend on a 600+ phone in my opinion.

That is not a glass screen protector. I have had them. They are made of plastic. If you can get them on without bubbles, they work great but there is a stickiness to them that some like, I do not, so I wanted a real glass protector.

I like the water trick. Clean it up real good with the provided cleaning cloth and make sure its 100% dry. Then mist the screen with a spray bottle and apply the screen protector. Use the card to work out bubbles. Works every time.

I agree to a point. If even the smallest dust particle gets on the screen after cleaning it, you will get a bubble that is difficult, if not impossible, to remove. It is hard to have a "dust free" environement in a home.
The nice thing is I have wrecked a few of the plastic film protectors and the companies always just sent a new one.
I have had probably 20 devices over the past 2 years so I think I have tried about every brand of protector on the market
The glass protectors are the best for me. They feel like using the naked device. The plastic protectors always have a "sticky" feel to them and none lasted more than a few months before having issues with edge peel, discoloring, etc.
I had a Muvit Screen Guard for about 8 euro's.
It included two of these large protectors fitting screens up to 6.8" and you have to cut out to the right size yourself. They worked splendid for me. I sent in my HTC One for repair and the repair people scratched the screen, or rather the protector. Not a single thing on the real glass though so mission accomplished! And the scratches on the protector were pretty deep, so I agree. A cheap protector is just as good at protecting against reasonable damage done by keys or other sharp edges in say, your pocket or purse.
Now I'm using the screen protector the repair center included when sending my device back home.

A few people has posted to turn the hot water on with the shower running. Let it get steamy in there and it will take the dust out of the air. Then put your screen protector on in the bathroom and the dust element should be eliminated.

I 'wasted' my money on a GlassTr screen protector for my One. Was a little suspicious of the Ebay ones - probably wrongly so. It was I think very expensive but has fitted well and thus far working well. I'll never go back to those plastic 'things' again. Managed to get one spec of dust trapped under but other than that it's crystal clear, very smooth to the touch and phone just as responsive to the touch. Too early to comment on how it's wearing but looks good so far.
I got one of the cheapie eBay ones. I've had it about two months and haven't had any issues, save one... The glass doesn't completely cover the screen. You would think it would cover the entire black area on the face, but mine was cut about 1mm too short! Since it does cover the entire visual area, I decided it didn't bother me enough to go through the process of replacing it.
I used the hinge method, and did not have any issues with bubbles or dust on the screen.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMPqDwVZzzM
Normally the saying goes, you get what you pay for. True for many things, however there are always exceptions. Going to try one of these! Thanks
I took the advice every one has suggested to fit screen protector tape down one side as hinge in bathroom with hot water running washed hands cleaned phone and screen even cleaned screen protector before removing plastic and it went on like a dream. Bought my screen protector from empire but can't recommend them due to carry on getting sent a protector packaged in thinner cardboard than a cereal pack so received it smashed then they sent me another in better packaging but doesn't say empire anywhere so not sure if it's there's but it works and iam happy although mine doesn't fully cover black area it's out about 2 to 3 mill but doesn't bother me .

Yeah I Agree
I've got the iloome, it's been on two months now and I've not had one problem.
I got a glass protector from ebay and I have a huge bubble in the lower left hand corner. Do those go away or should I reapply?
You could just buy tech amor screen savers from amazon, free replacements for life. I requested a new set of 3 and I got it for free, didn't pay postage or anything. Basically free screens for a while.
So since this phone is so inexpensive, are we going to get screen protectors for it? Or just let it go? I'm probably going to get something simple, like this one, just for some basic protection. Is anyone else planning on getting any sort of protection?
Thanks in advance!
I bougth one and after 2 weeks is scratched and has a crack so you should no spend your money on this
Yeah, the tempered glass screen protector is pretty good.
i usually just let it go, feel better than cover any protectors
Hi:
I depends on how do you use you screen.
I have own a Galaxy S, SIII and now this Moto E 2015 , and never ever used a screen protector. No scratches on screen. Nevertheless I know some people using the phone as a kitchen cutting table and have the same results (as the kitchen table).
Gorilla glass is pretty hard though.
I actually have screen protectors on my devices just so because it feels good to know there's an added protection. You may want to check this one.
The Tempered film is a better choice.
Where i live in Canada i could not find one in store.
I was able to see a couple cases but they were super cheaply made and super expensive (in my Mall)
So i didn't buy a case.. i also didn't want a bulky case because i lucked out and found a sweet belt clip case at Wallmart.
The case from Wallmart fits my dimensions perfectly for the phone and has my phone attached to my belt now
I like using my phone to listen to music while i ride my mountain bike.
So what i ended up doing is getting an iPhone 6 protective film for $2 and i just trimmed the top off and laid it on top my phone.
i have 95% of it covered and it looks ok.. i had done a better job but i tried to make it perfect and screwed it up.
Pro Tip: Don't be a perfectionist when making your own cut and paste protective film LOL
Also..
I could have gotten a protective film from a kiosk in my local Mall that is suppose to be strong etc.
The kiosk custom cuts the protective material for any device from watches to phones, so i *could have done that.
But, they wanted about $35 can. after taxes for my cheap phone so i said no thanks.
I do want to ask any of you out there a question (i am fairly new to android phones only had a S3 for a few months before)
What i want to know is are the Gorilla glass screen good enough that i can just ditch the plastic film stuff ?
Like i have seen some guys say online that they don't bother putting a protective skin on the phone.
So what do you guys think ? Maybe i should ditch the protective plastic stuff on my phone ?

gorilla glass is preatty hard, it can survive some hard things like keys or somethig made of metal but there are things that can easy scrach it - for example sand (because it's harder than glass). I can't recommend plastic screen protectors, they do the job but they are real fingerprints magnets. It's impossible to keep it clean. I think you should buy glass protector, you can find cheap ones on some chineese sites with free shipping (it takes like month but I think it's worth)
Today I got my 3$ tempered screen protector form Chinese auction site. The shipping was free, it should take more than 30 days according to info on the site but I've waited only 12 days. IMO the glass quality is very good but it's my first tempered glass protector. Instalation process was easy (even without instruction on the box but there is a lot of videos on YouTube about instalation) though I have small air bubble around proximity sensor. It's my first glass so maybe I've done something wrong. Anyway I'm very happy, I had plastic foil before and it's like day and night. The fell of the glass under the finger is great. IMO this 3$ glass is a great deal.
I bought my one here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2-5D..._77_91_80,searchweb201644_5,searchweb201560_9
Edit
Today that bubble dissapered for itself, now it sticks perfectly. For 3$ I'm more than happy.
Just go get one from XtremeGuard and use a coupon to bring the price down to like $2.
tyvm got all the info i need here

Ahhh I see, well you could get a case that covers the screen, that way it doesn't get grainy or scratched. Regardless of the screen or screen protector, I think it's not recommended to place your phone on the same pocket you have your keys in, or other metal things.

I think about those two metal spots around pocket in most of jeans' pockets. I just want to say that it won't suit for every people, I used something like that and I was really mad about how it made my screen grainy and how soft it was although it performed preatty good in sunlight and fingerprints wasn't so visible. Then I had non matte one, screen looked better but it was real fingerprints magnet. It was harder but still It got scratched after some time. Now I have glass and for me it's the best choice. It's very transparent, very hard and it's not so bad with fingerprints but it's thick so it can colide with some cases (not an issue for me). That's just my opinion about thoose protectors.

Well I bought mine for 2$ on chinese site (aliexpress). It's cheap, preatty easy to install, very scratch resistant and very clear, screen looks bright and it feels great under the finger. The downsides are that it's thick so it won't work well with every case, I use it with orginal grip shell and it's good combo because of the case design: http://forum.android.com.pl/uploads/monthly_12_2015/post-142525-0-25574200-1451048167.jpg The second problem is that the oleophobic coating wears off but after 2-3 months it's still not so bad (but it was better when it was new).

Well I bought mine for 2$ on chinese site (aliexpress). It's cheap, preatty easy to install, very scratch resistant and very clear, screen looks bright and it feels great under the finger. Awsome, I'll try one someday, the plastic one I have feels to smooth on the finger, as in it sometimes feel like if you are not really sliding your finger on the surface
