[Req] Nexus 7 I/O boot animation - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps

Has anybody been able to get this on a S3? I've tried but the best I could do was a sideways one lol
(I mean the one with all the flipping tiles from the Google I/O event (AFAIK), not just an X)
If so, I can has links pls?
Thank you :3

Don't know how you can do it on stock but some custom ROMs include the feature. I'm using slim ROM......

I just want to change the image of the Google Now Button, not adding anything to the Navring. So instead of this white Button with black Google logo an other picture.

I would search for it in system/framework/systemUI/res/drawables/xhdpi (or hdpi for other screens)
AW: [Q] Google Now Navring Shortcut
You mean /system/app/systemUI/... don't you?

Oh, of course. This is what I meant to say. I mixed it up with the framework resources
AW: [Q] Google Now Navring Shortcut
Good idea but it is not the right one :/
I also searched for it in /system/framework/framework-res.apk/... and /system/app/velvet/...
I often saw the image but when I flashed it nothing changed there :/

/system/app/systemUI.apk/... ?
AW: [Q] Google Now Navring Shortcut
Yes "..." is just /res/drawable-xhdi
so it is/system/app/systemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi

the image file is in the google search apk, not the system framework.

Do you mean the Velvet.apk? I flashed the image files but nothing changed :/
Did you try to flash them?

[Q] widgets in folders??

I can't seem to put widgets into folders on the home screen... Anyone else notice this? Or is this by design and I'm the last to notice it?

I can. Just overlap them and a folder appears

That works fine, as it should, for apps, but not for widgets. Widgets just dance around the screen on me. I even installed go launchef to see if it made a differece. No luck.
Maybe a difference between the 240 & the 980?
Sent from my GT-N8010 using xda premium
You are correct. I just tried with 2 World Clocks and it would not put them in a folder.
Which widgets are you trying to get? I usually use only shortcuts in folders...

Anyway to force dual pane (tablet) YouTube?

YouTube was flawless on the nexus 10...but on the nexus 7 it is just silly
Any ideas?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
have you tried paranoid android? it lets you choose what layout you want
You need to set the DPI to 160 tablet format.
Anyway to do it but keep the normal layout? As in just YouTube lol

As far as I know PA offer the possibility to change per app DPI so you can change the YouTube DPI without affecting other things.
