[APP][MOD] Photosphere and 4.2 Camera app

Has anyone tryed the new 4.2 camera app and the Photosphere in our Galaxy Wonder?
I'm using CM9B3 ROM, and since the camera has started working well, I don't install anything that could mess it all (I'm a heavy camera user...)
Can anyone try it on CM9 and Stock roms, and comment it here??

ya, so excited. I heard this news 2 days ago from xda portal, and I've visit the pages,
but I'm afraid no download link in that page, they said as google's request

it wont replace the original camera apps. anyway the camera wont work, only the gallery. i try it 2 days ago.

I think the camera is only for Android 4.2

on galaxy s+ running cm9 beta build 3 by arco isn't working at all. The gallery is working but the camera isn't. anyway i had 2 cameras , one stock (cm9 camera) and that one wich isn't working . you can try it but first make a backup at camera, gallery, or a nandroid backup ( is better) . Good luck !!

Our current galaxy W mod Rom either based on Arco's ICS variant or JB can't use this latest photo sphere. Mainly it's meant for Jelly Beans with 3x kernel.

But camcory's CM10 though it is build on ARCO's kennel 3x, the cameras is still not working. In fact this kernel is still work in progress by Arco's.
I still have faith in Arco's work to have the kernel 3x working for our beloved Galaxy W

Hmm i think the W I8150 does not have gyroscope that is why photosphere is not working in this device please correct me if i am wrong

No, the galaxy i-8150 have a three-axes gyroscope...

It should be the compass.... But i'm not sure if it is the same..

I've tried this app.... And our galaxy w doesen't have the gyroscope, so.. We can't have photosphere...

yeah without gyroscope the photosphere won't work

I really confused, in wikipedia galaxy w has a 3-axis gyroscope in geekyphone galaxy w doesn't have, and my opinion galaxy w should have because galaxy w has a rotation vector sensor.

[FIX]Smooth Scrolling On ICS (Only Samasung based roms)

This is a mod to make your scrolling Smooth
Ive been on Cm9 for a long time,but when i jumped into the Chameleon v2.01 basic rom i had ultra lag in scrolling so i did some googling and found a thread that has a fix for this--->Click me.
I tried it out and i could see some difference in scrolling performance,test it out and do give a feed back :good:
P.S:I've attached the modified framework.jar of Chameleon v2.01 basic,so if anyone on this rom wanna try the mod use the attachment

I hope this works. I am planning to go back to chameleon rom from xxlsj jb.

I can see a significant difference in scrollin.:good:

I have used many ROMs on my GALAXY GIO but still could not find a ROM that is minimanete quickly and consume little batteria ...
Anyone know which one do that?

m'rage rom 2.1 good rom

CM7 based on stock ROM is great..
fast and less battery consume..

stock or CM7 based are the lightest ROMs around.
no ICS/JB ROM comes close.

I'm using MaclawStudio's AOSP ICS for some time now, and I must say that's the best rom I've ever used for the Galaxy Gio ;d
It's smooth, the battery life is good and because it's ICS it also looks awesome!

I'll try M'rage Rom v2.1 is beautiful hahaha, tks ppl :victory:

I would prefer Erik's cm10.1 rom. Using it in daily use over a year. You can install link2sd or a int2ext4+ script to gain more storage for apps if you need it.

Page not found.

Jellybread is very stable.
Only issue I have is that sometimes text is unreadable in buttons or notification bar (light text on light background).

Working Photosphere Camera!

Came out with a working photosphere Camera!
It leaves your old camera as is and adds a new camera shortcut in app drawer
Seems to be working on 4.1.2 Touchwiz stock based roms
So far it works with Team Infamous rom and I have tested it myself on JMT JB V4 as well
*EDIT: XDA user Sojay tested on CM based 4.2.2 and reported it working
(I owe you a thanx ran out today hit u up tomorrow m8 )

That's because this zip was extracted by a nexus phone, but you can always use your regular app for that.

Yeah, that's what I meant............Recording does not work, it just shows green "noise"

This installs a new camera app alongside the regular one .... Would suggest removing your current before flashing to avoid any confusion

camera not working
I downloaded the photoshere camera and installed it using clockworkmod recovery. It installed fine. Camera works but no photosphere icon. Is there a work around? Custom rom installed on my phone is cyanogenmod 10.1/android 4.2.2

Do you mean no icon in the camera app or the home screen? The icon is in the camera app if you thought it was an actual app

Thank you for this. I had another photosphere app before, but it required me to change my build.prop to look like a Nexus which is not ideal. This one works great without having to modify the build.prop.

The camera flashed just fine but the camera gets stuck everytime i switch to photo sphere. On JMT 5

[N900T] Vanir AOSP Test Builds

The Vanir devs havent started a thread here on xda yet but the builds are being posted on their host and when i asked on their g+ they said they need testers. So feel free to try the builds and post your buys here or on their g+..
PS- I have nothing to do with the rom itself or the team, I am just sharing so ppl can test it :good:

Already went back to other builds I can't not have Camera working and it works on all other CM/AOSP/AOKP type ROMs I'll come back when its more ready. Trickster wasent even sticking for me

Camera works in latest build. I just flashed PA GAPPS from Temasek ROM Thread

Hi exfat format sd-card doesn't work in this rom. The rom is excellent keep up the good work. Thanks Vanir team

I am using this as my daily driver (for the weekend at least). I added the Temasek Camera, nice "save to external SD" in there. Pretty good battery life too, compared to other KitKat ROMs. Something is wrong with DownloadProviderUI, android.process.media FCs every time, but I never use that anyway. Something is also wonky with haptic feedback. It was actually messing me up typing because it only registered a portion of my taps. I just disabled vibrate on keypress and enabled sound on keypress instead. Looking forward to the next build.

Based on CM11. I'm not running it so no screenies, but you can theme it with CM themes.

Yep, CM 11 and it looks like any of the other CM11 ROMs, apart from the systemUI until you theme it.
Here is a quick look over of the System UI. I themed it with a transparent CM11 theme a custom font and a live wallpaper.
