Did you push the apk or just click on it and let it manually install?

so i got it to work. i initially had the apk downloaded by the program "flash downloader", which essentially just downloads the apk.
but i guess that version was not good. i uninstalled and reinstalled using another apk i found on the forum and its working now.

Has anyone found the Modded Adobe Flash Library file for the newest Market Version (10.1.106.16) yet?
I heard it was floating around unrevoked's IRC channel, but I have yet to see it pop up.
Patiently waiting in the mean time.

Here you go. All packaged up with Hulu. Make sure you update Adobe in the market first.
how about a flash file modified for hulu? the app's there but it doesnt seem to work because of flash

You don't need a modified flash file. The zip file attached above contains everything you need. Pay attention to the last sentence in the post. You NEED to download the latest version of Flash Player from the marketplace. After you do that install the file you downloaded above from recovery.

Doesn't work. I updated Adobe in the market, then downloaded this .zip and installed it via recovery and now I get "Hulu is not supported on your platform".

Check your path for the libflashplayer.so file.
Is it data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib?
You could always try ripping the .so file out of the zip and just pushing it with root explorer or adb.
I tried doesn't work for me either... I tried doing it both ways.

Root explorer method I mentioned above worked for me. I'll try and see if I can get the update script working.
I tried the root explorer way it didn't work for me still get the error.
Ok it works it just doesn't survive a reboot.

Working for me even after a reboot. Wonder if it's ROM related? Are you running an AOSP? Anyway, I'll tinker with it a bit more and see if I have any luck.
Yep I'm on aosp 2.3.2. Either way thanks I can deal with doing it manually.

Before you get angry, I have extracted the rom. I only go to xda as a last resort. The only calculator APK I found was the overly, I have installed it but does absolutely nothing.
Currently on freedom os 2.3, and I don't want to dirty flash it again to get it back. Anyway to find it?

That calculator really isn't that great. I'd really just get a 3rd party calc or LG's good as well.
Well if the guys are posting the apk from the oos rom then you shouldnt install it. Go to root folder > system> apps and make a folder calculater and put the apk there and give it necessary permissions should be rw-r-r. Then reboot your phone and it will appear in your app drawer
I just recently installed a stock(-bloatware) ROM from here which is pretty nice but I can only install apps from the play store. Otherwise I get the parsing error. I've checked the box for installing from unknown sources to no avail. Anyone know what I need to do? Thanks

Do a nandroid backup and I would flash stock, which is the most stable of all
You can download stock files to flash with Odin here
If this problem does not appear in stock, then the ROM is the culprit
I would suggest just finding another ROM, I stuck with Kit Kat for the hercules (Carbon ROM) since it's more stable than the newer ones coming out
Hope this helps

Check it did not enrol you as a tester in the play store, you can opt out
Or install a full APK from apkmirror.com

You said you managed to uninstall the beta but the play store installed it again?
Uninstall it > install older APK

You need to be rooted then install root explorer go to system/apps and uninstall the apk that way.
OP, did you disable instead of uninstall the app?

App not installed usually means there is already an app with that package name installed, check to see you haven't still got another version of SC installed

ADB to uninstall
Next time just use ADB to uninstall. No root required.
Rooted by modifying boot.img. Passing Safetynet.. Netflix say to please update to latest version and no way to update.
when freezing it Play store doesn't have an installable Netfilx. Cannot delete it through ADB or any other way, too. Weird.
Anyone have an idea?

Thankfully, yes. Downloaded and installed this version (Netflix_v7.96.0 build 12 35393_apkpure.com.apk) over the existing one and it worked!
