That could be a problem if he's phone bootloader is locked.
unlocked and ready to load. I think i tried that one tho. Does it work if you have an ICS Rom or not?
The ICS kernel doesn't have the full touch version but it does have a touch UI.

Full touch UI?
If I remember right i installed the boot.img from FXP125 CM9 from Free Xperia. Is there different one I should use?
What rom are you using?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447542&highlight=cm9
Yeah, I don't think they advise DoomKernel for that rom although it may still work. Also currently, there is no ICS kernel with full touch recovery. The only one I know of, for the play is DoomKernel 14 but that's a GB Kernel - Sorry
Edit: There are touch features in ICS Doomkernel but not full touch
sad day... well thx for the help.
DoomKernel v14 has a full touch UI and it's for GB, and DoomKernel ICS BETA v3 has a touch keypad for up and downs arrows, select and back keys, and it's for ICS, you will need a wifi modules in both cases
Hello @ all,
I've got a bootloop problem with xperia uhd 3.0.2 Rom by jader on my lt15i xperia arc, unlocked bootloader...
I've tryed different kernels i.e. arcknight, ktg, vengeance, xarc and stock... all cause a blackscreen after kernels bootlogo...
Also tried a fresh and clean installation... nothing helped.
I've installed it on my sis' neo v with locked bootloader and no problems so far.
Any one with an idea and/or solution?
Thanks in advance!

Sorry for wrong posting.
I was in a hurry and not used to XDA in recent days.
It doesn't matter which recovery you use.
