Wanted to test out the speeds in Bloomington, IN & here's what I got....
On average, I dl'd about 1.7 megabytes per second w/ a top speed of 2 megabytes per second.
Then I pushed past the 5 gigs & got the throttling text message, so I decided to do a bandwidth test of that.
512k up & 600k down.
Honestly not too sad about those results. I was thinking the throttling was gonna push us back to Edge, but this is really not bad at all.
Wonder why your lte speeds are so low, I'm in Evansville waiting for lte

I don't think 20-21 megabits per sec is really all that slow... At least compared to what we used to have w/ 3g.

In your post the fastest speed mentioned is 2 megabits! Did you mean 20?

I just did two speediest in different areas. First one isn't in the woods or anything but probably a bad spot. Second is right in town about a mile down the road.
1st spot - 390kbps
2nd spot - 1580kbps
Is 1500 about right?

They are both actually pretty typical of what you'd expect to see on CDMA EV-DO rev. A. Data can drop of sharply based on signal strength.

Yeah that sounds right, to translate the rates into something more practical they come out as:
1st spot - 48.75 KB/s
2nd spot - 197.5 KB/s
here's one I got a few days ago:

or translated into kbps
2188 kbps
Your rates will depend on the quality of tower, weather conditions and how many users are connected to it. Also your PRL version (make sure it's up to date with *228) and your radio are the other things that affect it per phone.
Dear all,
I have searched through many posts of Galaxy note 2 forum but could not find a real life experience on how fast the 3g version (HSPDA+) of Galaxy Note 2 could provide.
Could anyone post the speedtest result? Or point me to the related posts. Thanks very much.
Hi my galaxy note 2 is on vodaphone I get a decent signal where I live. As far as im aware theres 3g and also H+ (hsdpa also known as 3.5g) im in a H+ enabled area at home and as you can see from the screen shot its good enough to enjoy the web. In just a 3g area I would get about a quarter of that speed.

Hey guys.
Can you guys help me out. If you have seen my other thread I am getting awful hspa+ (4g non lte) speeds. I thought it was just my phone as I would put my sim into my gs2 and it would improve by a factor of 15. However my mom just got a iphone 5 and says that since than her hspa+ speeds were in the ****ter as well.
So now my thought is that it is a problem with the chipset found in our phones and not being able to handle hspa+ effectively.
ANYWAY where im going with this is I was hoping to get a better sense of others speeds in 4g, not LTE areas with AT&T. If you could help and use speedtest to test your speed without wireless on and post your download and upload speeds.
Thanks in advance
My ugly speeds today. Non LTE.

I get anywhere from 3-9 here in Farmington about an hour south of St Louis, MO. That is pretty consistent with all of my other phones too

Ok Im glad to see others are doing well. I get on an up day ONLY 500KB/s, not even 1MB/s! for download and about the same if not a bit more on upload. I guess I will go to a store and try my sim in one of their phones.
Only down side is there is no store in my area so I have to wait to go back to my parents for winter break. Sigh, first world problems
Hey guys looks like we finally got LTE in dallas YAY!!!

I'm only getting two bars in Plano. But it's plenty fast. Can't wait to see when I get full bars.

It looks like they might have rolled it out in Denver/Aurora CO too... Im really hoping this isnt just another test (already seen a few), its been working for more than a few hours, which makes me think it isnt.
I'm thinking a soft launch since it is spotty and unannounced. Maybe official by end of month. Tmobile store guy did say he was told by July is when Lte is deployed here.

This. I used to have complete bars and excellent data, and while the lte is great I only have one bar, two at most.
Signal strong at work in Richardson.

Hey all, don't know if I got a bad S6 Edge 64 GB Gold but wanted to see the feedback with others about this. I sometime feel like my Note 4 was superior to the s6 Edge when it comes to the Internet radio. Sometime the speeds are terrible. Anyone else experience this ?
Please advise.

I definitely don't have any problems with that. Speedtest on this phone gives me the highest scores I've ever had on T-mobile's network.
Here. I'll provide screen shots.
Here's me speed
I'm also getting bad signal. I'm getting about 13 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up on my ATT S6 edge. My last phone, the LG G2 D800, was getting about 70 Mbps down in the same location.
So sorry, didn't realize this was just the T-mobile thread. Disregard this comment. Sorry again.
Heres mine
These are my numbers. I had the galaxy note edge previously and my download was around 25-30mbps and upload was 6-10mbps. Idk what's going on lol
