Well, that's not really a decision we can make for you, haha. Just know that if you flash the official update, even though you can root, you won't be able to install CWM again. If you want to go back to CWM, you'll have to use unbricking method to revert to Gingerbread.
You might consider just flashing the Telus or Bell ICS flashable version that HO!NO! released instead.

I installed P930_UDT_v18f_04112012 ICS rom and it doesn't run as well as the stock Telus P935 rom.
Where can I get the original rom so I can put my phone back the way it was? I searched the dev and general forums and had no luck.
Any help would be appreciated

Telus ROM removed some stuff (like theming). But apparently lots of people have had problems installing this flashable version of the Telus ROM, so you should use the Bell one.

As far as kdz files to flash, I'm not sure if they're around the forums. You would have to use the search function.

LG uses a locked bootloader on all versions of ICS, so as a result there is no direct way to install CWM. It requires that you downgrade to Gingerbread first and then install CWM and then go to any ROM from there. Just follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044645

The ROM's available through that thread are actually P936 ROM's. As far as I understand there really isn't a difference between the P936 and the P930 other than carrier and region, the P930 I believe is US AT&T only and the P936 is everyone else but I could also be over simplifying it. You can go with any ROM for the P930 / P936 just make sure you have the correct baseband / APN for your region / carrier.

One of my friends installed the ics leak when it came out, but the leak has a lot of software glitches. He wants to go from his atnt leak to official ics then root. How would he do so? He is running the 18f I think, Android 4.0.3.

Just flash one of the rooted stock ROMs, or better yet flash Liquid Nitro which is essentially a nicely debloated AT&T ICS ROM with performance features and tweaks added.
HO!NO! posted his debloated v20f, which is the latest (and probably final) official ICS update. I'm going to try it out next. You'll need to manually add your ATT APN if you use it though, because it is a Bell ROM... so make sure you copy down the APN settings before you flash!

Won't work until you go through the unbricking process first:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044645
It takes you from the leaked ICS. But if you want to be 100% stock no root just stock use the LG support tool found at the above thread.

So all I have to do is run the B2CAppSetup.exe and tell it to update? I know what I'm doing tonight.
