MMS not working Sprint GNEX - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Sorry if it's a repost but this apps search capabilities suck. Pretty much my MMS messages get stuck on sending and then it fails I can't even receive pictures or videos either. Anyone know if this is a Sprint network problem or something else? I'm running the latest CM10 nightly.

Try to change the mms setting or download new setting. usally cm10 will change some setting

Update profile.
Shutdown for 2 minutes.
Power back on.
Turn data on and watch MMS send.

So I'm guessing this is a Sprint issue then.

I have sprint gnex and can confirm I can send mms just fine

I think it varies by the Sprint towers because I was in a different city a while ago and I could send and receive MMS but here at home, nothing.

It seems to be a problem in ICS, it doesn't happen to me a lot tbh but it happens every now and again.
The way I deal with it is exit out of the message thread and then back in.
a future update may sort it out.

Are u sure it only happens me on aokp
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Well I'm pretty sure it happened to me too on cm9 and I think I've seen threads around here about the same thing and referring to other roms.
Use a third party SMS app.
But i love aosp app lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
This happens with me as well, I'm running AOKP too. This also happened on other ROMs for me too.
As above when it happened I closed it down and opened it back up and it worked, this was happening in Whatsapp, SMS, Facebook etc so doesn't seem App specific.
But yeah, even on the new builds still happens
Oright its just sms app for me .weird

Google server sign in issue

I tried restarting, soft resetting, and on data and WiFi to fix this, but idk what's wrong. I have been on aokp build 1 for almost a month, same with Franco milestone 5 kernel.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I've been running into the same issue on my Nexus S and my N7. Anybody know of a fix? Is this problem common between only Nexus devices?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda app-developers app
I dont think it is just you, I am on stock 4.1 and am having the issue as well. It isn't working on my nexus 7 either that is running aokp.
Same for me as well. Something must be wrong on googles end.

Open Google Now, and the error will come back. Sync'ing is not affected by the server issue for some reason.
It has to be on Google's end. Did the manual sync and it came back. Both gnex and n7 have it but my n1 is not affected

My roommates Droid Razr doesn't seem to be affected just my GN, manual sync did nothing for me.
Same thing happening here. Cleared cache and dalvik, must be on Google's end.

Good evening. My wife and I are both on Sprint. I am running Eclipse nightly right now. My wife has a stock SGSIII that just received the JB update. She can not receive a call from me since the update. That is the only number that I can not call. She can receive my texts, but no calls... Any suggestins?

you are posting in the nexus forum fyi. I would personally contact the carrier for problems relating to network before an android development forum.
here is the galaxy s3 forum, you might get better info there

What does your wife's S3 got to do with our device? (not sure you own a nexus though?) Ask in the S3 forums or Sprint or Samsung.
Maybe you flashed a Nexus rom on a gs3?

Her device is stock. OP, if she uses Google Voice, check her settings and make sure she didn't block your number by mistake. If not, call Sprint and have them troubleshoot. My wife had the same problem and we got it fixed. GL

Check your apns, but also, if you're usually connected to WiFi, MMS won't send unless you clear the MMS.apk cache. Not sure why this is, but I've tested it multiple times and it seems to be the culprit and solution.

Can't send MMS.

Ok, this may have been covered before but I don't think so.
I'm on Sprint 4.2.1 official. No custom ROM. I am however running AK. I can't send MMS or receive MMS. I have updated my profile, rebooted, etc etc. I do have data enabled and do not have WiFi enabled. Any flash able zips? There are no APN settings being a Sprint phone, well none that I can adjust.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

have you tried a different mms app like gosms? or even replacing the stock mms with a different 4.2.1 mms apk?
No. I love the stock MMS so much. Lol. I have flashed different ROMs and stock firmwares to no avail.

the only thing i can think of is to clear the messaging application itself.
you would lose all your texts however.
I delete my messages daily anyway. Haha. I just wish I could take the internals of Go SMS and skin it with 100% stock Android. Lol

For those having issues, have you guys fully ported your Sprint number to Google Voice? Thinking this may be causing some issues. I managed to get MMS received by unchecking the "auto receive" option. Still can't send though. This is frustrating.
