on 2.3.3 if i had a call i wanted to not answer i could press volume down to mute ringing then press the power button so i could put the phone back in my pocket without fear of accidentally answering or declining it via swype gestures. but the hox will not screen off while incoming call is waiting to be answered . any fix for this?
?? :good:
There is an application called something like call backgrounder. It adds a button to the call dialog which might help you.

Maybe the link doesn't work. But search for A+ call backgrounder. I bought/got it 2 days ago.

I wanna know if there's a way to get touchwiz roms to respond to the headset button
I know it worked on cm7 and I found a thread that said I have to edit a file found in system/usr called sec.jack or something like that and I did as it said but its still not working but at least now it doesn't show the call log when I press it
Is there anyway to get this button to pause/play/chage songs?
I'm running thunderhawk and I use poweramp(I enabled headset button options in the settings)

That thread is correct... you have to change that file to look like this and then reboot... works perfectly for me on every rom with the headphones that came with the phone...

I have a problem with Notifications on my HTC One X that i never had on any other android phone, When someone tweets to me or sends me a DM on Twitter i normally had a notification light and hear the notification sounds, but with The One X i hear nothing, there's also a delay getting the light to come on, what's the problem? i can't live without the notifications
Maybe a daft question but you have enabled each of these features within the Twitter App right?
I have indeed there aren't any options for notifications either

You need to click on your account name (Sebianoti) this will give you more options including those for notifications.

Don't worry about it; it's not exactly obvious. Glad you have got it sorted.

I am running 4.1.2 and project x. While I love this ROM, I can't swap between calls. What was once the swap button is the record button. Is there anyway to change this?
Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know how to turn off voice when u use calculator
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app
Hmmmm... what?
I am also confused by this
Holy crap is this annoying.
Basically, there is a bug on the note 4 that has a voice that reads aloud what your typing on the calculator...
It will read 4x4=16 as four multiplication four equals sixteen... So frickin annoying especially when im calculating cost for a job and my damned phone tells the client what my cost is!!
This also happened to me. I am just using a different calculator. I have calcu and my script calculator.
OK so I had this issue as well and tracked it down to the following. Go into your settings>accessibility>services
Anything you may have turned on under the Services Tab...Turn it OFF. This is what made my calculator finally stop talking to me. I hope this helps a few
