no screen off when ignoring a call

on 2.3.3 if i had a call i wanted to not answer i could press volume down to mute ringing then press the power button so i could put the phone back in my pocket without fear of accidentally answering or declining it via swype gestures. but the hox will not screen off while incoming call is waiting to be answered . any fix for this?
?? :good:
There is an application called something like call backgrounder. It adds a button to the call dialog which might help you.

Maybe the link doesn't work. But search for A+ call backgrounder. I bought/got it 2 days ago.

Have you tried factory reset?
Maybe its a software problem,or you can bring it to nearest service centre...

Try these methods
1)Flash The FTF According to the Phone and see if the problem gets solved
OR
2)Press Volume up and power button till you hear 3 vibrations then power on phone again
If They dont Work
Take the phone to the service center they will give u a new phone or fix the problem for free

Nexus 7 (2013) Power Menu keep appearing all the time

Hello, I have this tablet and I'm really annoyed because it keeps appearing the power menu totally random(it may vary some seconds), even if I don't press the power button or any button at all.
I've sent it to a service, they changed the power and volume buttons, but the problem still persisted.
Tried to factory reset it, no change... Tried to root it and flash a custom rom, no change.
I've also tried to disconnect the button from the tablet...No luck.
At least I know is a soft-related problem, not hard-related. Any suggestions what should I do or if there is any log where I can read what activate the power menu?

You could change the mapping of the hardware button to tell for sure if the buttons are the problem ...it could be the connector ....
