It's not a Jelly Bean easter egg. It doesn't even remotely fit the definition of an easter egg. It's a option which can be enabled on CM10 and some custom ROMs.
At the rate you create threads I'm not surprised you have 200 posts.

You can also pull down your notifications and click em. That'll unlock it too. Do it all the time with E-mail notifications. Go SmS too
Yep, this has existed since at least Gingerbread.

Didn't know that. Jumped on the bandwagon with the OG Atrix and menu unlock wasn't available until GB for us. It was briefly available on froyo I think but then we got GB shortly thereafter.
That's why I said at least GB, wasn't sure if it existed before.

Actually, very annoying animations.
Notification bar is the first thing that gives it away. No need to look further.

This is GB, if you notice the notification bar its look themed, and at least if anybody have the source code, anyone will work on theming it.
In the video, he only showed music, why? because he putted the music beta 4.0 lol

As of right now we can only speculate. Samsung / Google will have to leak a the rom or when the Galaxy Nexus is released we will have to get a system dump. No one knows.

Need ics kernel source for this phone as well. Could be a few months, could be never. But if what Samsung has done with this new line of gs devices is a sign of things to come, will probably be months.

Probably a hidden menu token. I remember on an old release of an obsolete ROM, you long press on something that wasn't supposed to be pressed and a picture would pop up. Drawn by somebody's kid.

Yes we do? We have official and many, many roms for it. Also google said they were gonna make it a priority to get more devices Jelly Bean much faster.
Sdk ports are never good. Always run really slow even if all the drivers are in place.

Nah. There are still some (relatively minor) bugs.
And Google doesn't have the final say in who has Jelly Bean. I'm sure we'll be able to get JB here, but Google doesn't push OTA updates for our device. Same for most others.

gonna be dropping all samsung branded devices soon, should have did so after my vibrant, would be a damn shame to see the T989 not get jellybean when the hardware would support it just fine
Forget the system dump. Just wait for the Source Code, which shouldn't take long to be out. GNexus is getting the update soon (2nd week of July is i'm hearing).
Can it be ported? The ICS is much closer to Jellybean than Ginger was to ICS. Maybe the ICS drivers might work and even the kernels.

If you take the diameter of the sun and divide it by the distance from Earth to Jupiter in centimeters, then you add in the length of time it takes to eat a hamburger steak, you'll clearly see that the answer is completely pointless.
Basically what I mean is that nobody's 100% certain we'll even get an official 4.3 update... I mean, the T-Mobile variant hasn't received an update since MDL, so why even speculate as to whether we'll get 4.4? Unofficially, we will more than likely have CM and others based on it; but that's just an assumption.
Anyone care to speculate as to why kitkat seems incremental? 4.3 to 4.4 and it gets a new name? Jumping to 5.0 and then when small updates are required it becomes 5.1 to 5.2 and so on. But jelly bean 4.1.1- -4.2.1--4.2.2--4.3 then 4.4 becomes kitkat. Wierd.

In that case, why was 4.0.4 called Ice Cream Sandwich yet 4.1 was Jelly Bean? There are pretty vast differences between the two, so why wasn't Jelly Bean 5.0, 5.1, 5.2.2, 5.3, etc...
