For those who don't know Slim ICS, its a lightweight AOSP based ROM featured here, and this is my first attempt at a HTC device. My beta tester apascual89 has been running it for 3 days and its time to release it to public.
Please read the FAQ, Installation Instructions and Changelog carefully in my website. Link below. Always flash 3 files ( Base_HTC_x.x, x.x_Endeavoru_Essentials and slim gapps).
Special thanks to intrepresentation for device and vendor folder.

Only bug discovered so far is wifi tether and bluetooth media streaming works, but you just have to unpair and pair it everytime. Bluetooth phonecalls work everytime.
No Echo during phone calls

Looks good.. Does NFC, Notification LED work? How about tegra 3 power management?

Settings / ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) / General UI / LCD Density
The stock one is 320. Play around there and see what works for you.

Any idea why I am stuck at the bootanimation? This happens to Trip's CM9, and domination CM9 also...I don't know what I did wrong...

Rom was great on Galaxy Nexus

Still have the black screen when the screen rotates. I dunno if that is known but anyone who was wondering. Also the recent app key is remapped to menu. :-(

Follow these steps exactly and it will boot. During testing I have flashed this rom numerous times.
1. Download Base Htc 4.0 + 4.0. EndeavorU Essentials + Slim Gapps
2. Copy boot.img from essentials to your computer
3. Enter recovery
4. Wipe Data, cache, dalvik and format system in mounts/storage
5. Flash Base, essentials and slim gapps. Flash base twice just in case
6. Reboot Bootloader & connect to computer
7. Fastboot flash boot boot(or whatever name you changed it to).img
8. Fastboot erase cache
9. Reboot

Working with Locked Bootloader, or only with Unlocked and Nova Kernel?

my Xperia S doesn't like JellyBean roms at all, i tried AOKP, Cm10 but it refuses to read my hardware MAC adress for the wifi on both of em. so i guess i will have the same issue with this one.

you have to use the specific kernel included in the zip, about the camera i don't really know, it might work.

i'm trying it, when i pinch the screen it do an animation an show me the screen to add widgets, but the animation is very laggy :/

Go to Settings and try Enabling Force GPU Rendering and Disable HW Overlays, might help.

Nepythys answered your first question, using a 3rd party app does work for 12MP, I'll try to include a higher res camera in a later release.

finaly we published it nice work guys jaapp and filip you are great guys i will try this rom and repack it to be my second rom on the dual boot manger

search "updater-script" in META-INF>com>google>android and change this and flash with cwm!!!!
IMPORTANT: Do not forget to flashing cwm!!! Flash rom and flash Cwm and reboot!!!!!!

I've been missing MIUI since my old sturdy arc S,
but sadly I cant find this usable for regular use since it lags so much.
Hopefully it will be sturdy and quicker than this in the near future tho.
It does however work. Everything works. Installed 3rd party camera-app to make the 12MPX work, and now everything is in order. Got no FCs, nothing not working.
But still very sluggish.

I did some further investigation and found a whole row of errors I didn't know of. Thanks for pointing out, I'll try to fix this issue.

Still some Questions:
What means optimized vsel? How are the voltage-values?
If I change the frequency or the governor inside the bootmenu, there is no effect - no cpu frills still shows othe values.

There is the menu "Encryption".
Does it work?
It shows for hours the green android-symbol, then ends and there seems to be nothing changed...

Hi Stefan, is there a way to implement "sort" option when we create a folder on the screen? I love the "no launcher" style of MIUI, but when I create some folders on the screen to group by type some applications, the icons inside this folders are a total mess... if we could sort them by name, would be the perfect ROM!!!

ROM process usage
Hi Stefan,
I am using your MIUI v4 as a daily driver ROM.
However after a few weeks i get random force closes of many processes running in the background, often high cpu usage without an active user process running and due to the lag that occurs while the cpu is high running application get a ANR sometimes.
Is this a kernel problem or is there something else involved?
I'm running the 19th Februari Build of MIUI - Stefan Braun edition on a MB 525 Defy.
If you want more info I would be happy to provide it.
Good work, I like your ROM very much despite this.
(Also the flashlight in the lockscreen (when pressing the home button) goes off after 2 to 3 seconds.)

For general matters - CWM roms cannot contain Bootloader and/or Modem (for I9505), they can be flashed via Odin only.

very nice rom so far.
only part i dont like is the part "Descargas y Extras" .. i cant understand anything because its not my main language even its not english...
please translate to english if you can

I did a full wipe, clear dalvik cache, intall zip.
The rom seem to work, but when I switch off the screen, I lose the phone network .
then I cannot call by phone anyone, or send sms.
If I switch the airplane mode, then sitch noetwork on, I can use the phone.
Just when I switch off the screen, phone network is losed again.
But, friends can call me !!! At any time.
And then network meter says I don't have phone network.
After a call ,agin, I can't call, the network meter is a stop icon.
Any idea of what I can do ?

The rom seem to work, but when I switch off the screen, I lose the phone network .
then I cannot call by phone anyone, or send sms.
If I switch the airplane mode, then sitch noetwork on, I can use the phone.
Just when I switch off the screen, phone network is losed again.
But, friends can call me !!! At any time.
And then network meter says I don't have phone network.
After a call ,agin, I can't call, the network meter is a stop icon.
Any idea of what I can do ?

Go into the "more network" settings and in "mobile networks" select "gsm" only. No lte but you will still have network and 3g during sleep.

Installation
THIS IS ONLY FOR THE INTERNATIONAL D80210b
- Ensure phone is rooted and either CWM or TWRP recovery installed and working
- Make sure you have a safe copy of your phones unique EFS partition on your computer
- Perform a full backup of your current installation
- Download and copy zip to phone storage
- Reboot into recovery
- Wipe Cache and Dalvik cache
- Install the rom or upgrade .zip
- Reboot
During installation the /system partition will be wiped for you. The data and storage partitions will not be changed in any way

one simple request, can you provide a flashable zip to restore stock navbar height? the navbar it's a bit too small for my fingers..

and im glad you are enjoying the rom

thanks for making a stock rom but better,i have downloaded and I plan on flashing at the weekend,to be honest I think once you've got rid of the lg stuff etc the stock rom is just great why change it too much if everything works well? anyhow thanks for making this happen i look forward to keeping upto date with your post

Can I shift from to cyanogenmod to this ROM? I'm running D802 asian[philippines] version? Thanks

I love stock ROMs with mod features like this. I prefer stability for daily use, not just for testing and changing ROM very often.

i cant install freedom app in this rom, all other apps still ok
