After applying the latest update (not the JB leak), I get this problem everyday. The system sound mutes itself randomly. There is a slash across indicating it is muted (pic). I can still raise it up and down but I can't remove the slash...and its still muted. Problem solved after I restart, but it will come again. Before the update, I never have this issue.. Anyone has the same issue?

I haven't seen that one yet. Try reflashing the update or just flash the rom from wildchld. Wipe cache, dalvik and factoey reset and see if it continues.

Haven't got this either. I flashed the ROM from Wildchld.
I did factory reset 2 times... No help. It keeps coming back. I haven't rooted yet. Running on stock. I'm waiting for the official JB to see if this still exists..

Hello!
My note ii is almost a month old and the last two daysit reboots automatically...today the phone rebooted 2 times...Is there any solution to this problem?
P.S: I am on stock 4.1.1
Maybe first signs of SDS? update it to 4.1.2

Hey try wiping cache and dalvik cache. Then optionally apply the latest v6 supercharger(just google it) script using script manager
There ia nothing bad in updating either.
Secondly try factory reset.
Maybe some app...

Hi!
Okay so I recently flashed Cyanogen Mod and whenever I booted up my phone "com.android.phone" (I think it's the phone app?) would force close once and I'd never see it again unless I rebooted. This only began happening when I switched to Cyanogen Mod from my stock rom, I thought it was because of Cyanogen Mod so I flashed JB-MR1 Build 3 of AOKP (released a few hours ago) however the force closure is still occurring.
Does anyone have any idea of what might be causing this? I have tried clearing my cache, re flashing Cyanogen Mod, yet it still persists.
Any help would be appreciated!
Clear data is mandatory when moving from stock to aosp.

Is it possible that I'm flashing the wrong GAPPS.zip? I'm currently flashing gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip for all my roms.
Gapps has nothing to do with com . android . phone

CM 10.1 was released as nightlies for Note 2 LTE (t0lte) and AOKP was released around 4 hours ago for the LTE version.
K just wanted to confirm you didn't flash N7100 version.
Try data and cache and dalvik and system wipe then flash stock rom.

One thing I didn't do when reflashing roms, was clear dalvik cache, could this be the issue?
I fixed it by reverting back to a backup, however I don't get 4G connectivity now. How can I fix this?
Make a backup of your efs asap.
I am suspecting its related to it.

Well as a few days after flashing wicked rom, I keep getting random HOT boots, no boot animation, and reboots behave the same as hot boots, no animation, just black screen then its on. I reflashed rom, kernel, but did not wipe yet. I may soon, but ill wait until I get a better answer. Also I did not overclock or undervolt.

Sounds like a kernel issue. Have you tried using an alternate kernel? And always wipe cache and dalvik cache after flashing a kernel

What rom did you have before? You're saying that you didn't wipe the first time you flashed Wicked? Always wipe before reporting issues that nobody else is reporting. More than likely that is your reason.
Did you flash a different kernel? If so, did you wipe both caches before flashing?

I did wipe actually, I mean that I will wipe and reflash if needed, which I have.

Well if so I suggest testing without morphology and then with so you can compare and rule out that as an issue.

Did you try clearing the app's data/cache?
Also are you rooted or on customer ROM, if you are you may also clear dalvik cache and permisions fix. If you are not wipe the cache and uninstall and reinstall see if that helps at all
Cleared cache and dalvik... If I use the Web browser I can sign in but if I use the app it just spins endlessly. Yes I am rooted using a stock rogers rom. Latest updates and stock kernel

They only things i can thank of left for you to try would be a factory reset or flashing custom ROM. and trying it then. i suggest the factory reset first. then go from there
This has happened before 2 months ago and I posted a thread but nobody could help. My phone will get to about 15% and then cut off. When I try charging it, it will say its charging but the battery will just drop. I know its the phone itself because I've used 2 different chargers and 4 different batteries yet the problem continues. Yesterday it cut off on me and I couldn't get it to come on no matter what I tried. I am rooted running a stock ROM but I feel like this a hardware problem rather than software problem.

If Odining stock (+factory reset) won't fix it, and another battery won't fix it, not sure what we can do for you?
Factory reset will delete everything want it?

Do I factory reset, go into download mode and then flash the off of Odin?

You need to be using CWM or TWRP to do this. And make sure it's up to date. 6.0.3.1 and 2.6.0.0 respectively. Also, ensure that your device is a SGH-T999 by removing the battery and checking the sticker. If it's not, you're about to brick your phone.
Make a nandroid.
Factory reset.
Wipe system.
Wipe dalvik cache (wipe cache also if factory reset didn't do this)..
Flash ROM (I like Dandroid, but if you're used to stock, S3Rx will work for you).
Flash LJC firmware from the firmware link in my sig (mnasledov). It's a recovery flashable Odin package, basically (without /system). It won't overwrite anything you've done to this point. Yes, we're using an MD5-based ROM with LJC firmware.
Reboot.
If it's still happening, you can install BetterBatteryStats and post a log for analysis.
