how do i turn the soft keys backlight off ONLY when i'm touching the touch screen? It's annoying when i'm playing a game and the soft keys backlight turn on for no reason. Thanks in advance.
Settings-display - touch key light duration then set it to always off

Why would you want the keys on when you aren't touching the screen?

I just found out that if you click around or when you lock your phone it makes those water sounds? Well those sounds somehow cause wake locks, which could cause battery drainage. So disable them in sounds>touch sounds and screen lock sounds.
Here's a photo of my wake locks, audioout_1 is the touch/screen lock sounds

So i cannot find an app or exposed module that will do what i want. I wanna disable the recent/back buttons and turn off the backlight for them as well on my phone and use onscreen nav buttons like a nexus device.
Any direction would be much appreciated
I believe the xposed module Gravitybox has both of these features. Be warned however that screen burn in is a big consequence of amoled screens and on screen navigation buttons. I believe it is why Samsung has always used the capacitive ones.
CM13 has this feature.

Maybe is some accessibility feature? I never saw that
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
yep....found it.
Accessibility/ Switch Access was on. It allows you to control the device using different key combos as well as making the camera focus clickable instead of pinch to zoom. I dont' remember turning it on.
