I got these extra on screen buttons at some point and I would like to get rid of them. Running stock everything.

Maybe is some accessibility feature? I never saw that
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
yep....found it.
Accessibility/ Switch Access was on. It allows you to control the device using different key combos as well as making the camera focus clickable instead of pinch to zoom. I dont' remember turning it on.

I noticed the other day that my normal HTC volume control was gone and replaced by and uglier version. I've never seen this before so I'm assuming this is maybe the regular windows volume control? Either way I would love to get my normal one back but I'm not sure what I installed to do it. Any ideas without going through alot of trouble?

I thought it was a refresh button, but it's actually wifi secure connection button. I don't think I ever saw this in ICS.

I never saw it in ICS, I actually never checked WiFi options so I haven't seen it in ICS, I thought at first time it was refresh button too..
I have a unit from Telstra Australia that has in the notifications qslide shortcuts. Personally I hate them there, they make it look far too cluttered and I will rarely use it.
Is there any way to turn it off? I searched all over for this but can't find it anywhere making me think it's not possible to turn them off?
I have only had the phone for 2 days,
Thanks

Are you rooted?
You might try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2198212
Make your NANDroid backup before applying, please.
What is this side bar app and how can I disable it and customize it?
It just appeared suddenly. I have no idea how I activated it.

That's the multi window feature. Long pressing on the back button enables/ disables this feature.. You can run two apps simultaneousl... Browser on top and gmail at bottom atthe same time
Oh I see. thanks a lot. I had no idea

Even if i turn off the wrist gestures in the settings, it still shows the watch face when holding up my arm either forward or backward... Thus the option for the wrist gestures is useless.
Is there any way i can force it off? And instead choose to only activate it with the button or/and touch the screen?
I want to save as much battery as i can when not using it. That's why i ask.
Turn off "tilt to wake" in android wear app.
