T-mobile Lumia 900 on AT&T network? - Nokia Lumia 900

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but couldn't find any info. I'm interested if anybody knows if a t-mobile Lumia 900 will run on the AT&T network, and if so under what bands? I haven't been able to find any information on whether there's a hardware difference radio wise between the two or not. Or if it would be locked in any regards.
Thanks all!

T-mobile 3G runs on 1700Mhz and 2100 Mhz. AT&T 3G runs on 850Mhz and 1900Mhz. It is possible that new T-Mobile phones also support 1900Mhz for 3G.
Both network use 850 and 1900Mhz for 2G.
So, it really up to the specific phone to support additional bands. You will have to find the detail spec for that specific phone (I'm not aware that T-Mobile even have Lumia 900).

Are you referring to a European division of T-Mobile when you ask about a Lumia 900? T-Mobile USA only has the Lumia 710; they don't have the Lumia 900.

T-Mobile US TP2 in Asia

Finally decided to get a T-Mobile US TP2
Q0. Other than the looks, what else is different between the International Unbranded HTC TP2 and the US T-Mobile TP2
Q1. I've been told the US 3G bands are different from the Asian / UK 3G bands. The Asian bands if I'm not mistaken are "HSDPA 900 / 2100". Can anybody cite the US bands? Also I know that 2100 is common for both US and UK... will that be enough to use 3G in Asia?
Q2. Obviously I would need to get the phone SIM unlocked. For once I couldn't find anthing on XDA to unlock the TP2. Any light on that would be great
Q3. I noticed that Hard-SPL is now available for TP2. I'm assuming that means I can flash it with any ROM. Would doing that automatically unlock the phone to be used with any SIM?
Need answers to these real fast guys... got a good deal on eBay.
0. mostly looks and 3g bands
1. tmobile 3g is strictly for tmobile 3g. anywhere else and its edge for you
2. no free sim-unlocker yet
3. Hardspl is for flashing roms...completely separate from sim cards
Oh man... that sux. I was really hoping that atleast one of the T-mobile bands would be compatible with the Asian 3G bands. Do you have any idea what bands T-Mobile operates on?
HSPA/WCDMA
1700/2100 MHz
Note the 2100 band is part of AWS which means it's not compatible with Asia 2100. T-Mobile 3G requires both 1700 and 2100 to operate. One band is upload and one is download.
Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
Quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
What exactly is the AWS?

Advanced Wireless Service, which utilizes band IV (1710-1755 out; 2110-2155 in) for CDMA, UMTS, and LTE

is the 4G connection available for all lumia900 or only for AT&T?

I have a factory unlocked Lumia 900. And my Area is about to get 4G connection.
Will I be able to use it?
Somewhere I remember reading about 4G being exclusive to AT&T... I'm not sure.
Thank you in advance.

If your phone is model RM-808, you have 4G support. If it's RM-823, then, according to our current knowledge, no. (The RM-823 is missing one PA chip compared to the RM-808 - however, I doubt that that's the only PA used in the RM-808 for 4G. AFAIK the RM-808 is 4G multiband.)
EDIT: The RM-808 supports LTE on bands 700, 1700 and 2100 MHz.
It's an RM823... No luck I guess.
Thank you for the reply.

Only ATT version has LTE, all other versions have 3G only. Good news is that if you have T-mobile LTE works in most major cities after you run Nokia Network Setup program.
Only for T-Mobile USA. I guess the OP is not American.

Nokia Lumia 2520 LTE compatibility

I see that the Nokia Lumia 2520 (Verizon edition) operates on the 7 LTE band frequency. As I am a bit unfamiliar with Verizon's LTE network, I know that my local mobile operators (GSM) in Norway run at the same LTE frequency. My question is this: Will the North American Lumia 2520 Verizon edition, work with a European GSM operator on the same LTE frequency? Namely 7.
I would also be very much interested in this.
BTW, where can I find out which bands the tablet is using? Thanks

Question about band 4 1700/2100

Hey guys.....
Search as I may I can't find anything about getting aws ... Band 4 with both 1700 and 2100 to work on my x800 specifically for wind!
Seems it has 2100 which isn't enough to connect.....
So...... Can 1700 be activated at all?
Or is this antenna simply not available for this device?
Someone has to have run into this problem or I may be SOL with this phone.
Side note... Same issue with my Z30. New phone just not working out as smoothly as planned!
Any help would be greatly appreciated......
According to Kimovil: http://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-letv-s1-pro-64gb this phone does not have a support for 1700MHz.
If your phone is X800 US version, then it should have band 4 AWS 1700/2100. I'm sure Wind uses much the same frequencies as Telus, and I can get Telus 4G LTE for voice, text and data no problem. My seller (Hong Kong Goldway on Aliexpress) specifically listed band 4 AWS, otherwise, I wouldn't have bought the phone.
Thanks for the feedback....
This is the US version..,.. yeah the add and email queries did list band 4 but stopping in to Wind to try a test sim it didn't get the 1700 half of the band.... Seems it matches the specs of the 1st reply link.....
Reading other successful connections making me wonder if it's a variant version or if the antenna is present and just needed to be activated. .,... Or could be..,..
So if yours came that way only makes this more puzzling....

International HTC ONE M8 in Canada

My cousin just moved from Asia to Canada and wanted to use his HTC One M8 on wind
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_(m8)-6074.php
based on the my information wind needs 1700/2100 bands for 3g but dose that mean the phone would need both? It seems to have the 2100 band but not the 1700 band. Is this a software restriction that I can get around by flashing the t-mobile firmware? Is the phone having just the 2100 band enough?
Thanks for any help in advance

Yeah, that will work on Wind with no issues. AWS (something you probably saw when checking on Google) means 1700/2100, and that is something that Wind supports.
