is there a way to change the intensity of the tactile feedback...
like on touchwiz there is a option to change intensity of heptic Feedback.
can we do that on deferrent roms...
Im on paranoid anrdroid cm10 right now...
anyone??
Usually a setting in cm roms but not implemented yet. I'm sure there is a line in the code some where, just not been done yet. You can ask the developer of the rom you are on if he can do it... I agree though, I prefer stock haptic feedback over cm versions.

Back when i was using the G2X devs figured out a way to use the backlight on the capacitive buttons as a make shift notification LED in the Cyanogen 7 ROMs. Does any one know if the way the GS2 is made makes this a possibility? Because even though NOLED works just fine, I find I prefer a pulsing or blinking light as a notification.

Correct me if I mis-read the description of BLN, but it has to be baked into the kernel and is not ICS compatible. So for any future ROMs or anyone running CM9 or ICS based roms that will not work.

Hi,
I've been trying out different custom roms for my T Mobile S2, thanks to XDA.
After messing around for a while, I decided to go back to the stock rom, but keep it rooted.
The one feature that I miss is the quick panel toggles in custom roms.
I was wondering if anyone could help me mod/install the quick panel toggles in my S2.
I'm running the stock ICS rom, its rooted and has CWM.
I tried searching, but couldn't find anything specific to T Mobile S2. It would be awesome if I can get this toggle feature alone!
Thanks!
Which roms did you try? There are a few that have the quick toggles that have a very stock yet performance upgraded feel.. As far as modding the toggles to work with stock I don't know..

I tried darkside's rom. It was good, but I faced frequent app hangs. So I thought of waiting for the next releases of the rom and reverting to stock for the time being.
After reverting to stock rom, the one feature that I'm really missing at this point is the quick toggle. And I didnt feel any performance difference also.
Just checking to see if an apk or a flashable zip is available for this...
You should give aokp a shot.. You'll curse the word so keep after you've tried it

The toggle .zip is a bit further down on the development list i myself give instructions for your exact wish.

Install instructions are on page 5
Whoa! Thanks dude...it works!
Only thing that I could think that is diffrent is the developers and one has the aokp extra settings tab and cyanogenmod has its own settings and wallpapers.
Is one better than the other and which one do you prefer?

That's about it. They're both built from source. AOKP has a couple more features. They're both really stable though and I prefer CM10.

They are fairly different...
AOKP has their own source though they do use quite a bit from Cyanogen. They offer the navbar to be enabled which Cyanogen doesn't.
CyanogenMod has a long standing history of being the first and the best... its just true. I would venture to say that their AOSP kernel is the best on the market the update almost daily with input directly from Qualcomm! The big feature that I am fond of is the profiles settings which you won't find most other places. These allow you to set custom "profiles" for different scenarios like work and home that will automatically do just about anything from turning on and off phone function s down to running individual apps. These are also able to be written to NFC tags... you can see the awesomeness?
Ok im a fanboi...

I have always thought of AOKP includes the best of AOSP an CM. I like them both but prefer AOKP. You can drill down into your device a little deeper to tweak it further in kang. Both are great ROMs though.

CM10 kills battery so fast lol.. and made my gs3 hot
Does anyone know of a way to change the intensity of vibration for haptic feedback and calls etc all separately (Or all together for that matter) in AOSP ROMS? It it's easy on tw Roms.
I like haptic feedback to be quite light.

Hi guys
I just flashed the nightly CM11 on my note 3
Love it.
However I cannot set the vibration intensity. Cannot find it in settings.
Does anyone know how to do it? Or is there any app can do it?
Thanks
Isn't implemented in most CM builds, although one of the custom builds *may* have it.
It's under settings, device, MORE
