Hi all,
I was wondering whether there is a setting on the HOX that allows you to stamp your photos with the date and time. I used to have this setting on my htc desire but can't seem to find out on my HOX.
Thanks.

Hi, did you know that it stamps a ton of "Exif" information onto the file. It allows you to see some of this information in the gallery, or in file properties in Windows. Also, if you use the import photos option in Windows (if connected via USB) you can even automatically rename the files by taken date. I know that's not what you were asking for but perhaps a substitute?

Thanks, yes I knew that.
The reason for asking about the time stamps is that I was browsing through some of my old pictures taken with my htc desire and they all had time stamps on them - you see the picture and then look at the time stamp, sometimes you don't even realize how long ago the picture was taken until you see the time stamp.

is there an app with which I can add date/time stamps on videos?
You can use Auto Stamper app for adding date and time on the photo. This app allows you to add text to photo while capturing it from smartphone default camera.
Additionally, there is also feature to make stamp more attractive and amazing with various style, size, color, and positions.

Anyone who has flashed their phone to the leaked version of 2.2 with sense should have hi res Facebook contact pic as well as auto sync. So no need to sign in and out of the Facebook app to refresh the contact pics.

Did notice that the other day
hmm im dont think so, the thumbnails are hi res yes, but the pics that come up when somebody rings you they re still pixelated, seems like they're using the thumbnails as source and then just making them bigger makes them bad quality
unless its just me lol
I can't even get my contacts to sync using facebook on MCR r5.
where's the leaked one?? does this not require root ??
Thanks
It's the open desire rom with sense. It requires root.
My images are not blurred when you call someone either.

Using Leedroid - still pixelated when calling or receiving a call - most likely still due to using google contacts & the res limit on that.
so basically after wasting about an hour im nowhere.. uploaded my first few pictures from my phone and the quality is horrible. is there any way to upload in high resolution?
Try using the email function. I think that worked for me. You can get Facebook to set up an email address for you to email the photos to. I think this will upload them full resolution. Other than that, I'm not sure about any app which may do the same, never really messed with it, but it would be good to know.
i didnt know that function existed? does seem a little slow though.. isnt there an application? what about batch uploading?

Like I said, I'm not sure about any third party applications that may be better at uploading high resolution, I hadn't looked at that before. I know you can send multiple pictures per email though. I found it to be one of the faster ways to upload a batch of files actually.
I haven't used it for a while (mainly cos I'm bored of FB so never go on there) but Friendcaster used to be great for uploading Hi-Res photos. There's a free and a pro version, I had pro and it was much better than both official FB app and the inbuilt Sense FB app

i just uploaded some using gallery and facebook for htc sense
when i look at the images on facebook website, they easily fill my 27" imac at great quality. have you tried that, rather than the facebook app itself?
Try uploading/sharing them using Facebook For HTC Sense....It works great..!!

im using a miui rom.. that makes me want to go back to sense so bad! but for now ill try friendcaster
Twitter for HTC Sense
Twitter for HTC Sense doesnt work like Facebook for HTC Sense.
I just took a pic on my One X and uploaded it on both T/FB with their respective apps. Facebook one's a high quality image but Twitter one's not.
Hi,
I got my One X last week and have been playing with it this week and one thing that annoys me is that when your on the internet and then open another tab and then go back to the first one it refshes and is very annoying when filling in a form or something.
Also it keeps coming up with Authorise HTC Sense - to authorisr faceboon and when I click it, it says turn on background sync but doesnt do anything as far as I know everything is logged in and ready but not sure.
Hope one if you guys can help
Thanks
Stock sense browser is rubbish, use third party browser like 'Dolphin Browser'

Hello,
sorry about my bad English, last shool lesson is a long time ago
Since about 4 weeks i can't longer save my HTC Zoe Clips on the phone.
Everytime i press the button "Finish" a new Windows open to Upload my Clip on HTC Zoe.
I deinstalled the App but then it would like everytime to send me to the playstore to reinstall it.
I had today contact with the HTC support and they say me!!! It's not a problem from HTC directly it's a problem with my Provider!!! :silly::laugh:
They say the Provider could erase this Function to save the clip local *LOL!!!*
I have three friends with two HTC One M8 and one with an M7 and all with the M8 have the same Problem with different Providers one of them with a free HTC M8.
Only the one with the M7 has no problem and his Zoe is like ever :crying:
I think that is ****! that is cheating!
Uninstall the new version. I am still using the old version; it works great.

Mhhh if i uninstall Zoe it only would like to install the newest Version from the Store...
Where can i get the "older" Version?
When you uninstall HTC gallery; you should get a message something like this app will revert back to an old version.
My HTC gallery version is 8.50.814092. Install this version and make sure to disable playstore auto update apps. Change the settings to do not auto update my apps.

Could you give a hint?
Hello, may be a silly pointless question but it's annoying me already. The past 4-5 phones I've had never had this problem only when using the HTC10.
So what it is when I'm looking through a facebook photo album I can't seem to swipe through the photos properly I have to swipe right from the edge of the screen to move to the next photo. Has any one else noticed this? thanks

Yes it does this, but that's not a HTC issue. It is a Facebook issue.

Strange can't be that. It doesn't do it on my missus s7 or my old Moto X Style or my OPO. Only the HTC 10.
All I could think is the pre-installed facebook is different. May have to root and remove. Plus cannot get on with this stock TouchPal keyboard. Lol.

Yeah Facebook is the only app I have that has this issue swiping right or left in.
What version is your Facebook app? I uninstalled updates after one of the recent ones started crashing. I'm back on 80.0.0.21.65 (the one that downloads and installs when you click the app icon for the first time) and have no issues swiping through albums.
The newest version in play store is 81.0.0.22.70
Hi guys. I am having the same problem and it is driving me nuts. I have the lastest Fb version, i tried to delete it but it demands me to update the app every single time. Swiping only works from the bezzel to the middle.
Has anyone figured out how to fix this problem??
I had this issue on LG G5, Xperia Z5, S7 and HTC 10. Facebook issue definitely. Cannot see how to fix it.
for me its fixed now
