My suggestion - picture from the middle with glowing/rotating effect (ask XperienceD to provide the pic, he made the banner ).

Now I saw this post after I made a boot "animation"..
I Just took your old pictures and replaced them with mine.
The only problem i´ve got, the boot animation doesnt start when I reboot my xperia arc, since i´ve replaced the zip file -_- ( im a newbie here )
Only the "orb" on the bottom rotates. I´ll send you a PM with some Pics

Are you using your ROM? And how we will use usb except for recovery? I have and idea : Next time use and usb tethering app that solves the problem.
what about video playback?
most of isc roms for our phone have problems in playing videos.what abt your rom?

Well I saw a nice calculator UI in Xperia Z reviews at gsm arena,so I checked the apk from Xperia Z dump and Sony kept old calculator UI for xHDPI resolution

No. Just make sure there's no SemcCalc.odex before you flash it.

Funny,
I've ported the JB calculator to ICS and haven't noticed the differents layouts...
But cool thing is that I can easely do the same as you but ported to ICS

I am using Xperia S.. Flashed it.. But did not works for me. Finally i manually put it.. But i like the balloons with flying kid image only.. Thats superb

and about the smallapp i think that its integrated but show only if 4.2.2 smallapp system is installed... ( but my phone is an xperia arc s so... i cant try sorrry... )

2.if flashing doesnt work try moving the SystemUI.apk to system/app with permissions RW-R-R
not working , i repeat not working on xperia m dual c2005
i got my phone soft pricked ,
Tried it on Sony Xperia M C1905(LOCKED BL)[SS] and it works but I think it fits for bigger screen as our screen is small some part of the button is hidden in portrait and landscape mode otherwise this mod is awesome and with this mod you don't ever touch that power button to turn of the phone.
I talked to the dev and he said he is getting it fixed
