I Have Made A Flashable Zip To Install In Your Phone.
Requirement:Stock ICS ROM. (Not sure will work in JB)
Works in my Xperia sola
And should work in Xperia S,SL,acro S and ion.
Instructions:
1.Download the zip.
2.Copy the zip to your microSD card.
3.Boot into CWM recovery and flash the zip.
4.Done and enjoy.

I am using Xperia S.. Flashed it.. But did not works for me. Finally i manually put it.. But i like the balloons with flying kid image only.. Thats superb

No. Just make sure there's no SemcCalc.odex before you flash it.

But cool thing is that I can easely do the same as you but ported to ICS

and about the smallapp i think that its integrated but show only if 4.2.2 smallapp system is installed... ( but my phone is an xperia arc s so... i cant try sorrry... )

How do you revert back to stock boot animation?
If you have a backup, you can just go to /system/media amd delete the bootanimation.zip that is there and replace it with your backup. Simple. But if you don't have the backup, then search the Internet for it.

In png file editing you said about 9.pngis different otherwise I collapsed all png with that. and also get learn how to edit .9.png files

Do you mean a flashable zip so the wallpapers will be available in wallpaper picker?
I can do that but only for my screen resolution, I have a Xperia M2, I don't know if it fits to your Xperia L
