Phone keeps rebooting when launching certain apps after root - HTC One X

I rooted my phone using the method below
How to root your HTC One X - Guide - Know Your Mobile
ever since then when I launch Angry Birds or search a video on youtube the phone freezes for a few seconds and then reboots.
I have done a factory reset and still have the same issue also when I try and boot in to recovery mode I just get a red ! mark and the phone freezes until I hold the power button down and then it will boot back up.
any idea's what I have done wrong.

Could be any number of things.
Wipe Dalvik cache.
Don't reinstall system apps using Titanium Backup
Wipe the phone before installing a new ROM.

HOX Won't Boot

I need a bit of help with a stock HTC One X. As of this morning it won't boot up. I have made no changes to the ROM, everything is stock.
Tried entering the recovery panel and turning fastboot on then restarting but every time the system stops at the "HTC One" page after making a startup sound. Sometimes the screen will go black and hitting the volume keys will bring up the volume changer but that is it.
There was no warning of an OTA update or anything like that.
When charging the screen stays on and dims, but stays on the "HTC One" screen.
Factory reset HOX and it booted, but next day same issues. This is 3 times I've had to factory reset now.
Every time I restart or cold boot it freezes on the "One X" screen.
This exact same thing has just happened to me! Just 10 minutes ago
I have no idea what to do.
I have not attempted root or anything like that everything is stock (Optus from allphones).
All I did was restart and now I cannot get into the phone.
I can get to those options (fastboot) by holding down the volume down button and the power button but restarting it or powering it off there does not help.
I havn't tried a factory reset yet as I'm scared about loosing all my data.
Can someone please help!
Please please
I'm suprised someone else is having the exact same issue what the hell is happening
Have you tried using the Recovery option from the Bootloader?
Yeah I tried that.
It didn't do anything. I've since done a factory reset. That worked but I've now lost everything
Now that's it's allw whiped I figure I might as well root it and install android revolution. I hope it's just a software thing and this will fix it.

Fair enough, if you're thinking of Rooting and installing ARHD etc then feel free to use my Guide : The Stock to Custom ROM Awesomeness guide
It'll take you from Stock to having ARHD on your phone ok

Took it into HTC last night and had the firmware flashed. No problems now... 12 hours with numerous restarts just to make sure.
It looks like it was a corruption in the software. I noticed HTC turned off the fast boot option before giving the phone back to me. Took 30 minutes in total.
If it happens again, try to hold the power button and the "Homepage" button at the same time. You should see a grey box saying "Continue holding to restart".
Thats a full restart rather than a shell restart.
That may help.

[Q] HTC DESIRE HD having some weird problems..

Hi,
Suddenly i have weird problems with my Htc desire HD. I get all kind of stop errors from several apps. So i wanted to restore my phone by performing a Hard/factory reset (via volume down + powerbutton), but then i get a HTC logo with white background and nothing is happening.
Then i tried to flash a stock rom by putting it on the sd card and performing the update. This seems to work, i get a OK on all items. Then it asks me to reboot. When I reboot i get again the loading screen with HTC logo with a white background, but still it seems stuck and does nothing. Then when i pull out the battery and try to restart the phone couple of times, it starts the phone but i see all my previous apps and settings. Weird? Even when i perform a wipe via the recovery menu i still can start the old installation?
I also have installed the ruu via the pc and still same problem?
The phone is not rooted and is all orginal.
Anyone who can help me with this? Thanks
well... if your DHD is stock then I don't think there is much you can do about it..
I would root. Being rooted is better anyways...Full Access...there are better roms.
- hit my thanks button if i helped you -

I tried to boot into recovery mode, but only this screen is appearing. Please tell me what can I do? As I void my warranty after root, is it bricked ? or what happened

Are you s-off?

[Q] HTC Desire HD boots but black screen afterwards

So I have a rooted HTC desire HD with Jellytime on it. All was working great till recently when it would shut down by itself. Today after I wanted to test a new boot screen from Rom toolkit I restarted it and while the boot screen worked great after it finished I see a black screen (backlit so I know its on). I tried going to the bootloader but after I try to go to wipe cache for example it restarts by itself and it gets stuck after the boot screen... Any ideas?
ok an update seems that if I go to the recovery via down button and power it lets me do actions. All this time I went to recovery mode when phone was shut down and plugged into a power source. I did a wipe cache and now it says android is upgrading and now it finished saying starting apps. Hope it didnt get stuck there because it keeps doin the cycle animation but doesn't do anything else.. I ll leave it be for a bit like this... :/ Had to restart it by removing the battery after 20 minutes... same problem as before still...
another update... just before it goes to a black screen when the boot screen finishes an orange light appears just briefly (where the green light appears when it charges)
Wipe everything (system data cache) and install a stock-ish ROM. What happens?

I flashed the rom again and wiped data and all seem to be ok now. I ll update this because I saw many people have similar problems... thanks in advance for any help!
Have the same problem.
I bought this with the problem that it keeps rebooting all the time.
I unlock the bootloader with htcdev, root with Easy Ace Tool, flashed the new cyanogenmod 11,
but did the same .
At least 3-4 rebooting before open normally.
I said that it must be ROM issue and flashed the KK-LegacyCarbon-4.4.
Did the things should be...flash the ROM and then the boo.img separately.
Now i have black screen and the only screen i am able to get is bootloader and the recovery 4EXT.
I reflased cyanogenmod back but nothing happened, any thoughts???

Bone Stock white screen

Hello everyone
My friend's M7 is bone stock and turns on normal and the lock screen shows up but once the screen is swiped it freezes. The htc logo shows up and the phone can only be turned off. I can boot bootloader and recovery and everything but I do not know what I have to do to get the phone working again. I have no idea what version of Android he had or the system version. The posts I have read to get to stock talk require S-Off or bootloader unlocked which do not help.
Thanks in advance!

First thing, if your friend has pictures and music backed up, would be wipe dalvik and cache from recovery.
Try to boot up. If that no work, then factory reset from recovery.
This pretty much wipes it, but may be what's needed to get it to boot up.
