changing cid for tegra htc one x - HTC One X

hey, i have a branded tegra htc one x from vodafone.
i would really like to install the international stock rom but in order to do that i need to change my cid to super_cid. the problem is that all the guides i find are for the t-mobile version and not for the tegra version.
does anybody know a way to change it in the tegra version?

so there is only love for the t-mobile version? my tegra version feels left out. is there a reason the t-mobile version is more hackable?

Unfortunately it is only for the international version.
I'm a noob as well, but I'd say because they have different processors (S4 and Tegra3) you cannot flash the same ROMs...

[Q] CID change at international HTC One X

Hi @ all,
are there any news about the possibility of changing the CID of the international HOX to a superCID or something equal?
The only things I could find pointed to the AT&T HOX or the HTC One S, but nothing about the international HOX
Without changing the CID we (the international users) have to wait month befor changing to JB ROMs
How can we change the CID?
Thx Nem.

no and it seems not in near future. But You can try newest leaks with trips kernel, if you want (with some bugs, but with working radio and so on)
Without S-Off there won't be a chance to change your cid if I remember right from my desire times.
Biggest difference here is the tegra chipset. That's the main issue here. But be assured, that if the deffs find a way to install jb on any device, you'll surely here about it!

I have international one x and my cid matches
Skickat från min HTC One X via Tapatalk 2
Maybe "international" is the wrong word. Maybe "EU" is better.
Mine is a german HOX from T-Mobile, so my CID does not match.

Well it looks like it won't work properly without the updated hboot, so once the hboot is out for the particular CID and installed through OTA or RUU, any custom ROM based off official JB should work.

[Q] DeBrand T-Mobile HTC One X

Hi,
I have a HTC One X with T-Mobile firmware, CID T-MOB005. I would really like to change the firmware to Android Revolution HD 17.1 but I am not sure if this will work because I read somewhere the CID must start HTC_. Does anyone know if I can do this?
You cannot change CID without s-off which we currently don't have. That means you can't flash any JB sense ROMs until your CID is supported. You can flash ICS ARHD though.

Sorry, what is S-OFF?

The guy on this article had the same CID as my but managed to change it to HTC_001. Is this something I should try?

That's about the One S. It's not going to work on the One X.
Great,
So I am totally stuck with T-Mobile branded ICS then?
Is there likely to be a JB ROM for T-MOB005 in the future?

yes wait a few days or 1 or 2 weeks and you will get JB ...in which country do you live?
i have t-mob101 and also have to wait...just wait and every day use system updates search like pressing every time F5
That sucks, as dose T-Mobile.

Taiwan M8x

Hi guys,
I have an imported 32gb Taiwanese M8x, FA serial.
It unlocked, s-off's and has a GPE rom running. Its blazing and it works on all Telstra frequencies.
My question is what is different about the M8x vs the regular M8?
Its it an LTE-A version?
Oh and I got it because the two Chinese made versions has terrible screens.

Yes, All international ROM can be flash on M8X should be no difference other than country.
CPU is clocked slightly higher on the M8x. Also, I think some folks with the M8x have failed trying to flash radios for other M8 versions.

Possible to flash AT&T HTC One M9 to use on T-Mobile?

The AT&T version already supports most of the frequencies/bands used on T-Mobile.
As I understand it, the AT&T version is missing AWS support for 3G/3.5G and VoLTE support on band 4 and 12.
Is it possible to flash the AT&T version with the T-Mobile radio so that it can be used on T-Mobile without any issues?
PS: I would also plan to flash custom developer edition ROMs. As I understand it is possible to flash the AT&T version to accept those. Is that correct?
To convert your AT&T M9 to Developer Edition go here

But if you're S-Off then yes you can flash a Tmobile radio but I'd do a nandroid backup first

Couple of quick questions:
1. Can I go S-OFF with any M9?
2. Does flashing the radio actually change the bands and VoLTE?
I haven't bought it yet and want to figure this out before I pull the trigger.
AT&T M9 I know you can S-Off via Sunshine. Idk about any M9 but the website will tell what M9's are supported.
Idk what the flashing the T-Mobile radio actually does but should get better reception.

Awesome. Why didn't I think of this?
How do I get ATT to subsidize a T-Mobile phone?
