[Q] Where to find CM9 Source Code - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Like the title says.... Where can I find the source code for the latest CM9 nightly/weekly? I've browsed around github but I'm not sure if this is the source that is being used on the latest CM9 builds or if it's one person's branch.

[Q] Building twa_priv's SGT7 framework-based custom CM 9

Hi -
I can successfully build CM 9 on my development box, using Linaro optimizations. However, twa_priv has a custom version based on the SGT7 framework which is the ROM I use. I'd like to be able to build my own nightlies of it, but am having a little trouble figuring out which additional pieces to pull from his git repo. I've currently got the base CM 9 repo and the KFire ice-linaro branch's local_manifest.xml.
Any suggestions on which local manifest I should be using to build his? I'd ask in his ROM thread but I don't have the posts to do that yet.
Thanks for any insight!

[Q/A]What's the difference between asop ,cm10, and kang ?? (I am new )

Hello
I came from black berry so little confused on everything. Can somebody help me understand some of this.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
They're branches of ROM development. Different individuals and teams work on their own ROMs and distribute them regularly. They each have their own features, looks and performance tweaks that they think are best.
As a quick start, "AOSP" is the Android Open Source Project. Google maintains the open source Android code, and individuals can pull from it and build their own ROMs off of that. So when someone says their ROM is "AOSP based", they're saying that they pulled the source from Google then modified it.
And like-wise with CM10/AOKP they provide their own source code.
CM10 = Cyanogenmod team. A very popular ROM. They do have their own ROM but also provide their own source code for those wanting to start with an already modified base. As an example CM10 based ROMs usually come with certain additional features like the CM kernel, profiles, etc.
AOKP = Android Open Kang Project. As the name suggests it is also the same idea. A source code provided by a developer of a Popular ROM (AOKP) for other users to use. Also comes with features not included in the base AOSP ROM
If any of that is wrong someone will correct me I'm sure

Compiling cm10 for ONE X from source

Hey, i have some experience with compiling cm10 from source (nook color and motorola atrix), but i cant seem to figure out why im getting builds compiled, but with some missing proprietary blobs, while others are there. Im using this local_manifest.xml http://bpaste.net/show/xho8rM6BEbaj56NhF9A7/ for syncing the repo, as its explained in the official cm10 nightly thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786696 that these are the resources to be used.
Can anyone help me?

Aeroevan's CM9 thread already linked to kernel source

Aeroevan's unofficial CM9 thread was closed for not complying with the GPL, but if you read the second post in the thread (the change log) he did actually link to the kernel source.

Am I missing something? I notice that the source link is listed under an older build, his newest build being 2012-09-05. Maybe the newer builds use a newer kernel and don't link to the updated source? Is that the problem? Or is it because the source link is in the second post rather than the first, so it's not noticeable enough?
I think Evan has pretty much moved on from the dinc2 already anyways
Note: This is for the CM9 thread only. I searched for the word "source" (without quotes) in his CM10 thread but didn't find any links to kernel source.
Maybe the GPL compliance issue for the CM9 thread is about something other than the kernel?
xHausx says the source link I referred to is for an older kernel, but the thread is also closed because Aeroevan isn't supporting that ROM anymore.
If the thread isn't dev supported it has to be closed?
sent from my OG Droid (until my iPhone arrives)
Doesn't that mean almost all threads in the Dev section need to be closed?
There have already been multiple threads created about this, please do not continue creating new ones.
Thread Closed.

CM 10.1 Linaro?

Is there a CM 10.1 ROM with Linaro? Like just the exact same as CM but built with Linaro instead.
Look in development section
a manta wrote this.
Ive looked, but i cant find it. Can you provide me with the link please?
Many improvements by the Linaro team have already been merged into AOSP, but details regarding the specific toolchain used to build a kernel should be available along with the kernel source code as required by XDA-Developer's GPL policy.
You can ask the ROM maintainer for the toolchain and if they're unable to provide it please use the report button to flag the thread for GPL compliance.
Look for tiny's cm10.1 ROM if you want for toro. It's built with linaro. He doesn't update it to often but it is solid.
This is what you're looking for:
