If you go to your settings on your arc go to...
Settings > Developer Options > Tick 'Dont keep activities (Destroys every activity as soon as the user leaves it (apps etc.).
If I'm not wrong, apps will auto restart and launch itself again

Hey everyone! I am using ra3al's Xperia Z Launcher and when I untick the option "Keep in memory", it doesn't change anything as it is still there
when I look at the "Running" tab in application settings. This eats about 20mb RAM and I would like to know if there is any way to stop this :\ Any
idea? It is a very good launcher and I don't want to close the process myself everytime :\
Thanks for your time!

if you use the launcher it is normal to run in background. uninstall stock home.apk and convert z launcher as system apps.
Currently on jellybean in Xperia S
Facepalm to myself... I was trying different themes in my phone
when i want to change it to the stock one, i found that even the one called "Xperia" does not offer the original Xperia lock screen, which is the grassland
can i have it back anyway??
thanks
Go to Settings, Apps, All, and search for Lockscreen or something like that, and clear data. That should do it.

Hi i have installed xperia z custom rom on my samsung galaxy grand duos but i am facing a few problems namely:
1. The xperia logo does not show when i reboot my phone.
2. My phone is taking too much of RAM (around 600 MB almost every time) even if i clear the RAM then too not much of a difference only around 5-10 MB is cleared.
3. I am not getting the xperia lock/unlock screen where you just swipe the kind of tiles up and also there are no shortcuts available on my unlock screen for direct launch.
4. In my home screen the Play store icon is only there continuously next to the menu/app launcher. there is no direct button for launching contacts or dialling.
Please help

Sony just updated Phone app ( Dialer app ) for xperia XZ premium, same as XZ1 have.
There are XZ1 Moded Phone app available in XDA but all functions not work in that app.
But Sony give that app officially to XZ Premium
You can download that app from Here
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/sony-mobile-communications/sony-phone/sony-phone-10-0-release/
Install it as normal apk, and it will update our existing phone app. If you did not like it then you can uninstall the update from Settings/Apps & Notifications / App info / select all apps then search for phone app click on it and press three dot button on the up right corner from there you can uninstall the update
Takes away the default voicemail option in settings
Installed this and while fiddling around, saw that the voicemail option (by service provider) was missing.
Reverted back to 3.00
It's not working fine if you hanged the screen resolution to 4k
Update : it seems that it's working just fine now, at first I had a couple of forced closed and phone app is not responding but now it's all good (Y)
