I'm not sure which method to use or what image etc...
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Use the toolkit. It looks to be option 4 for a USC SGS3.

All,
I was finally able to root my GS3 and install the tethering app (WIFI Tethering for Root Users) and get it working in infrastructure mode!!
I know it is not a big deal to all the Droid journeymen out there but for someone who is completely new to the Android world, it is a big deal and I could not have done it without the forums help.
So, to all the good people who took the time to answer my questions and guide me in the right direction... Thank you! Thank you very much!

What is the point of this? You are on a development site. Either give information or don't bother telling us!

What was the point of you coming into a 1.5 year old thread and saying this? He did share info, he shared that he was able to get his phone to work on Cricket. This is useful info for many people, I'm sure.
I would like to change the slide to unlock text on my Note 2 but cant find anything on how to do it. If someone could provide me with some instructions on how to or even point me to the right link I would love you long time. Thanks

Ok, I know many of us USA users have had bluetooth tethering removed. And we all want it back.
I found this thread here that shows how to unlock it but for the Galaxy S3, I am sure the same methods would apply to us on the note3.
I have tried, but I don't have any luck recompiling the files. So can anyone take the plunge and do this for us?
Here are the unmodified files for the Note3 USA TMobile
Thanks!

Walmart has these new on closeout now for 199. so knew it was time to upgrade.
Have unlocked phone through ATT online request and entered code but have still not set phone up yet and would greatly appreciate some guidance on what is the best way to get rid of the bloatware these come with?
Thanks much!

Go into settings -> apps -> open the carrier apps or any other app you wouldn't use and disable them one by one ... be careful not to disable system apps...
Hope this helps...
Get Package Disabler Pro for Samsung on the app store. You won't be able to disable a lot of the bloatware with only using the system settings.
The only issue is that using the default block list on the Package Disabler, Samsung Pay secure keypad won't work. Also make sure Samsung Push Service is not disabled or Samsung Backup won't work.
Thanks much!
