[Q] sms help

Hey I have a extremely nosey gf who somehow finds a way to read all of my DELETED text messages is there any way to permanently delete them or any good black book type aps? Im running elite rom and switch between handcent and stock messanger.

handcent has a delivery report feature if you go to it in the settings u can see about a line or 2 of the messages u snt ither then tht not to sure

Yeah how can she read your deleted text? Does she work for the gov, wanna know what I'd do....go buy a Walmart/target cheap prepaid phone, put $100 bucks on it and it'll last all year. Problem solved.

Off topic buy everyone hides at least SOMETHING from their girlfriends or wives etc its the way of life. Some things are better left in the dark dude any man will tell you that. Just try to get it out your system b4 you put the ring on her finger lol and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the app... idk how she sees my deleted messages I think she using the delivery report. Either way im tired of being awoken in the middle of the night about who im talking to n flirting with.

I'm still confused, how is she looking at delivery reports, can't you turn them off . I guess I'm not understanding, our mms apk never saves deleted text right. Are you using a moto droid?

Marcus revival rom

unless im not seeing it i dont see a thread for this rom. just wondering if anyone using it did not get the red theme with it. i flashed it 2 weeks ago got the red keyboard etc. screwed up my phone and now when i flashed it again the red is gone. does anyone know if it was taken out because of problems or if im just flashing the wrong one? im on marcus v3. thanks

It's 5am and my girlfriend isn't home yet :panic:

I am very much distraught as we have been together for so long but lately she has been hanging out a lot with Dave, her ex. She says that Dave is homosexual and that i shouldn't worry about him because he no longer "likes what she has" if you know what I mean.
I recently bought her the new s3 after having it myself. Also i assumed that the absolute best way to show her i love her is by buying her a smart phone. I usually spend a half hour every day telling her about everything android and i know she enjoys it deeply, even though she hides it by scowling and constantly telling me to "shut up nerd."
Anyway, what do you guys think is the best way to find out either 1) where she is or 2) if she is creating offspring with Dave?
I am so confused. I bet Dave has a embarrassing iphone, too..

There are many apps that can help you. Some are free. If you find out what you don't want to know, lay it down on her thick. Romance, wine and dinner. Do everything she likes in bed then get a nice CZ ring, make sure the phone is near too, get on one knee and tell her you want to marry her since you both now have herpes from thee lest time you went on "guys night" and "they made you have the private room with the stripper".

the best way to find out is just to ask her. More than likely she will tell you some bull**** if she is lying. Change the subject and after a while return to the convo asking her about it but change whatever she said.
Ex. If she said she was with her friends at the mall, change the subject, wait a while and then ask her about the stuff she got at the mall. If she didn't get anything then more than likely she wasn't at the mall. Time to move on to the next one. I'm sure you're still young and there is plenty of other women out there.
Edit: If you have to use an app to track her like some have suggested, then you shouldn't be with her. That is stalkerish and it's definitely time to move on.

How do we make a complaint to mods.

I was wondering if the is a way to report a user to the mods for harsh and abrasive responses which seem for the sole purpose of belittling and insulting xda users. There is a user that seems to do only that and not help the person posing the question. It is starting to get ridiculous. I thought xda did not condone this behavior.

You guys know that we can't action anything that we don't know about, right?
OP, in the other thread you mentioned that you lost faith in XDA and the Mods, well we can't fix what we don't know is broke. How about 1 report versus 10 flaming posts? There are 5 of us who handle all the SGS3 variants, so our response time is very quick. If the user has broken rules, then action will be taken. If not, most likely we will post in the thread to throttle it back or plainly to just quit it.
Maybe everyone should look in my signature at the link to needing a Mod and how the report button works.
Example would be the random question in the Dev section. Instead of 15 posts about "wrong section", why not report it with the "Thread moving/maintenance" dropdown.

which part of my post is useless to you? playing indoor soccer with a full team and ( don't mean to sound racist or anything) a latino kid came up to us and said he wants to play! told him he cant coz we already have a full team! then while waiting for our turn to step in the field to come i was showing my other friends a few pix of my girl on Facebook. he was just sitting there and laughing among us till we started playing! 10 minutes later after the game ended he was nowhere to be found and so is my phone! called the cops filled a report but its not too promising. tried to locate it using LOOKOUT but i guess the phone off!

Call it in. Tell T-Mobile the IMEI and if anything AT&T aswell. Now they are screwed and the phone wont work

Even if the IMEI got wiped they could still unlock it and use it with another network i'm prrtty sure.
Plus T-Mobile doesn't wipe IMEIs.

I always thought they blocked stolen phones... I guess that's only CDMA then..

T-Mobile has never done that as far as I know.
Only companys like Verizon etc.

tmobile blocks imei since like a year and half ago they started doing it more now

T-mobile don't blacklist imei anymore unless u were on a installment plan.. other then that someone's enjoying ur phone. That really does suk.. it happened to me also, I felt like ****, I mean I worked really hard for my phone and sum asshole got it for free.. n no t-mobile said they wouldn't back list the imei! Simply cuz I didn't owe any money on my phone..

Sorry useless was the wrong word to use. Its just most XDA members don't care if there is not a back story... Sorry that happened, I had my Evo 3D stolen so I know how bad it sucks.

I had my GS2 stolen and got stuck with an LG Optimus T for about 2 months until I got my S3. I was at this resort with a swimming pool and I put my phone inside of what I thought was a pretty nice security locker, it had a pin that you put in to unlock and lock it. So I typed in my code locked the locker and went for a quick swim with my friends and some chicks and when I came back my locker was broken, my wallet was on the floor (they stole my money), and my phone was gone. I don't think I've ever felt so robbed in my life, it's almost like I had a baby and someone kidnapped it. Then about a month later I was hanging out with my friends and some guy left his phone at the table and my friend tried to steal it but I took it from him and gave it back to the guy, it was a HTC G2 or something like that. Ever since I keep 3 programs on my phone at all times: Cerberus, Lookout, and Where's my droid.
