Hi guys, I use the Revo v. 4.0 a2sd + since its release with great satisfaction (for me it is important that the battery has to come in the evening).
In recent days, however, being on holiday at the sea, I'm having continuous blocks of Desire and I have to remove the battery to restart the device.
I have not recently installed new app and I can continue assigning these blocks to the fact that the phone is often roaming, which the city does not happen ever.
Have any of you noticed anything like this? Do you have any advice for me?
Carry the software information of my Desire:
Revolution and Easter. v.4.0 a2sd +
Baseband 32.56.00.32u_5.17.05.23
Kernel 2.6.35.14-0.9-avs-gingercakes
Build 3.14.405.1 cl 96875 release keys
RIL 2.2.0028HM (sep 20 2010)
This might be problem with your Radio, so you can try to reinstall only your Radio or:
1. Run recovery
2. Wipe cache
3. Wipe dalvik cache
4. Reinstall your system (Revolution and Easter. v.4.0 a2sd +)
You will have fresh system without losing data
If the roaming problem still exist you should run recovery and wipe data(/factory reset) and reinstall ROM

Hi All,
My T-Mobile G2 running Cyanogenmod 7.0 randomly reboots itself throughout the day (average 3 times a day). I want to find out what's causing it. Is there any way to find out what the phone was "thinking" at the time of the reboot? I tried a logcat but it only seems to go as far back as the time it was last turned on.
Here's some additional info in case people know a solution. The reboots did not seem to start until I installed CM 7.0.2. They became more and more frequent over time peaking at about once every 2 hours. I did a full wipe (factory reset, wiped the dalvik and system) and reflashed 7.0.2 and the problem persisted. I did another full wipe, reverted to CM 7.0 and the problem is tolerable at least, but still there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your replies!
My Android Version is 2.3.3, Baseband version is 12.22.60.09bU_26.02.01.15_M2 and my kernel is listed as 2.6.32.28-cyanogenmod-g4f4ee2e [email protected] #1.
Firstly try updating your Radio to a newer one because that looks like the stock one rolled out with your Desire Z. Then if it still reboots reflash a stable version of cyanogen. Then if it seems stable you can try flashing your preferred kernel onto it.
Hello,
I am wondering if there is a possible bug with the Auto Brightness Mode in CM7 7.1.0.1 (Latest Stable).
Whenever I enable Auto Brightness through either QuickSettings or the Android Settings Menu, the device will lockup and fail to Power On (Via Power Button) and requires a Battery Pull to get the device working again.
I've also noticed that sometimes when the battery is pulled, the Time and Date Settings will be lost.
I think CM7 is great but I want to try and rule everything out here.
ROM: CM7 7.1.0.1
Kernel: 2.6.35.14 nFinity
Radio: 13.55.5524H_3.35.20.10
Hboot: 1.02
S Off / Rooted
S2E
Apps on SD-EXT
Dalvik Cache on SD-EXT
I use the same rom is also set to auto-brightness and I have no such problems. Try reflesh rom, and before that wipe cache and Dalvik cache and just in case nandroid backup.
Thanks for that, I've since wiped and performed all the above steps and can confirm that the issue is still present.

Hi...
I rooted and flashed my Desire HD (android 2.3.3),
with this instructions
XDA video "how to root Desire HD"
and "The Advanced Ace Hack Kit"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1259821

Everything went successfully
and DHD was working perfectly for 3 days...
But yesterday started my problem with LOCK SCREEN.
So, when i am not using phone and its screen is locked,
when someone calls me,
whatever i choose from ACEPT or DECLINE call
i get this massage:
"com.android.phone has stop working force close"
after that i am losing my network, and afer 5 minutes its coming back.
There is one more issue, but with option DECLINE:
When i choose DECLINE, sometimes, the lock screen FREEZES,
the phone is
keep ringing,
my power buton is not working,
volume butons are not responding,
everything on display that i touch touch isn't responding,
BUT the phone IS STILL RINGING and the only way to stop that is to pull batery from the phone and return it...
and everything after that is working perfectly until someone calls me when my phone is in lock screen mod...
I tried to reboot it,
wipe the cash
flashed it again with android revoltion HD,
and the same thing are hapening again...
Please help me

Did you use the super wipe before you flashed your rom? If not then go back to that website and download the superwipe and place it on your sd card. Make sure you do a factory reset, dalvik cache wipe then do a super wipe and then flash your rom again. It is important to do factory reset and all the wipes. hope this works.
Super wipe?
No, or i think i didn't
I turned off, and then hold power buton and volume buton, booted into Recovery, cleared the cache, and selected 'install update from sdcard'.
So what i should do first?
1. factory reset?
(on my DHD setings/SD&phone storage/
factory data reset?)
2. dalvik cache wipe (don't know how to do this)
3. super wipe (also don't know how to do this)
Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040 and down load " super wipe " to your sd card and the rom that you are going to flash. Go into recovery mode and select wipe dat and factory reset. Then wipe the cache. you then need to select wipe dalvik cache. If it is not on the first list of options scroll to advanced and select and then select wipe dalvik cache. Go back to first screen and select install from sd card, select choose zip from sd card and then select super wipe ( may be named a little different ) once that has wiped everything go back to main mene and select install from sd card again, choose zip from sd card and select the rom that you are flashing and install, once done reboot your phone.
Or alternatively, just download the "super wipe" script, boot into recovery and flash it. You don't need to factory reset, wipe cache or anything else before you run the super wipe script, because it automatically wipes and formats /data, /cache and /system partitions (among other things). Then flash your ROM, which will wipe the Dalvik cache anyway during the install process.
It won't do any harm if you wipe everything manually first then do the same thing again with the script, but you're duplicating work for no real gain.
ok i did this from dazzasky's post
thank you and you hopscotchjunkie
So far so good, this solved my problem

A couple of days ago, I changed my Micro SD card (without moving the files from the old SD card to the new one) so my phone kept on putting the loading screen, and after that, I planned to wipe and then re-install my ROM. I switched the phone to recovery mode, and by mistake after wiping (maybe before, I don't remember :/ ), I chose the option "wipe cache partition" so I was unable to flash this ROM again after that. then I downloaded the ROM "ICS for desire (sanvold)" v. 0.4.4 Beta, and it worked! but Wifi did not work! (when I enter the WiFi settings and turn it on, it keeps on saying "Turning Wi-Fi on..." even after it's turned on! and if I turn it on using the widget, or from the main settings screen in the wireless and networks (without entering to the WiFi settings) and after it's turned on, I enter the WiFi settings and there is nothing but the blue background screen). Bluetooth can be turned on and can be seen by others, but the problem is that my laptop said that it couldn't send a file to it, but maybe it's because of the laptop not the phone so it's not that problem, but my main problem is the Wi-Fi.
About Phone:
Model Number: HTC Desire
Android version: 4.0.3
Baseband version: 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.23
Mod version: Desire Beta 0.4.4
ROM: ICS for Desire (By Sanvold) Beta 0.4.4
I have flashed the radio 5.17.05.23
So my question is, what's the problem with the Wi-Fi? why isn't it working? how can I fix it? thanks in advance and sorry for making this long

Clear data for Google Services Framowork and problematic apps and reboot. When you reboot the phone connect to some of the google apps via mobile network and then try via wifi. You'll maybe need more then one try.
Sent from my HTC Desire using Flashes and Thunders
Hello guys,
Here is my recent problem : I'm on JB 4.2.1 (Xylon Rom) and every time I flash a rom (or a new version of my rom), my phone is not able to find the network connection (orange/sosh - french network) as if my sim card was not working...This does not happen when I do a factory reset and a dalvik cache wipe before flashing...
I also have the same problem when I flash a new version of Franco Kernel or even sometimes when I shut my phone down completely.
I've never had this problem before.
Any idea about this ?
