Every time I try to install Flash 10.3 (EVO, rooted, Baked Snack 1.7) it tells me "10.1 Package/Files not signed correctly). Then it prevents it from installing.
Anyone got a fix for this?
Thanks in advance!
bumping this for anyone
Anyone yet?
If you're upgrading from flash 10.2, I would uninstall and install flash from the market. I had the same issue upgrading my skype.

How do I uninstall it? I've looked through the options on my phone and in the Manage Applications section, there is no option to uninstall Flash because Flash doesn't appear in the choices.
You can use titanium backup from the market to uninstall it

Hi,
I just flashed AOKP maguro build 23 to my nexus. It works fine but i cant install the root explorer from market. It just says that it isnt compatible with the device. It worked fine on the stock rom so i'm a bit confused in here.
Did you change the LCD Density?
I did and had problems with several apps, even those that were already installed.
There's a modified market-app (hacked market) that allows you to install nearly every app without changing the density back to normal, but I have no idea how to install it on the AOKP.
Hi, now everything works as it should. Thanks for helping.

Hi,
using the MildWild CM-8.0 JG Stable ROM I'd like to know the smoothest way to install an APK-file besides via the play store.
I remember having 4ext installed via ADP, I guess, but my memory isn't that good and I just followed a step by step manual. So, I have a backup apk-file I would like to get installed without play store. How do I do it? Does ADP work for that and if yes, how do I do it? Or is it preferable to use a file manager - if yes, which (astro, fi.)?
Thx for any help!

But does it work with ADB?
Edit: found out myself...yes, it does, as this thread shows, I just install via ADB by using the shell command
Code:
adb install xyz.apk
Can't even install Gapps/Play store
Hey there. I have just installed MildWild CM-8.0 JG Stable on my HTC Desire.
I cannot find the Gapps store anywhere. I tried installing it via the zip but i still cant find it.
Any ideas? Am I using the wrong zip? It says in the descr. that its incorporated but hell i cant find it!
cheers!
Haha never mind, I found it!
I have my kindle rooted but I don't know if I should try a custom Rom. If I do flash one then it would be cynagenmod 10.1. I also have titanium backup to transfer my apps.
My main questions are:
Will the Rom work with the amazon app store and will I have to sign in again?
Will apps I got from the app store be compatible with the new Rom?
What exactly will titanium backup backup?
will cynagen mod 10.1 make my device compatible with jellybean apps from google play?
if I choose to go back will I have to re log in to Amazon?
Is there anything else I should know?
Thanks to anyone who can help me with these questions.

When I installed CM I found that apps I downloaded from the Amazon Market place prior to flashing (one's designated as KF edition) would not show up in Amazon after flashing. The other apps from Amazon will be OK. Maybe if you back up the apks before flashing (if you have any KF apps from Amazon) you could install them after flashing.
Thanks to both of you. It was very useful. I will probably be getting 10.1 soon.

I would think all you need to do is install Nova prime, are you getting an error message when you try to install it? You can't disable it or unistall it because it is considered a system app. You can use ROM Toolbox to remove system apps but be careful.
Don't know why you wouldn't be able to upgrade but what I would do is;
1) Install ROM Toolbox
2) Install another launcher like Holo (just to make sure you have a launcher available) and set it as the default launcher
3) Use ROM Toolbox to uninstall Nova Launcher (I don't know if you need the pro version to uninstall apps but I don't think so)
4) Try to install Nova Prime
5) Uninstall the other launcher you installed

I had the same problem.... As stated above, just install a different launcher, then use a app that can remove root apps (root uninstaller from play store is free) uninstall nova and then install prime.

Thanks. I will give it a try. As of now I have switched to "Android Revolution HD" as I running into different issues. But I will observe the battery life on this, which very good so far and then with try to switch to LiquidSmooth in the weekend.
Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it.
