Lets see some AnTuTu Benchmark test's - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Not that the benchmarks matter but will see who can score the best.
This is on CM10 nightly.

I never said this subforum specifically was for development. Looks like you need to read better.

If you don't like op's thread than don't reply.
As much as you don't care for this thread their are many who don't care for your opinion.

couple of things...
seksmeup you are the epitome of whats wrong with these forums... stfu and don't post on here if you have issues with a subject...wtf do you do? troll around all day looking for things that annoy you? Clown!
my Antutu score was only 6700 on stock rom...which was very disappointing coming from my g2x which was rooted and i was getting 7200+
that being said I was interested in finding out what others are running at. I'm confused because in the comparison screen i see other s3's running 10k+ ...what gives?

Such benchmarks are useful from build to build for judging certain aspects of your rom ....not hardware but. ..I use antutu like crazy to find a sweet spot for say dirty cache settings and cache pressure. ...things like memory or database are not native. ..they go thru Linux and then the vm. ...this allows you to observe just that. ..the behavior of Linux young underlying the vm

Digging a bit dated thread. For those who might find it beneficial.
I had gotten lower 7000s on Stock everything.
My Score on AnTuTu is 11442. The SGH-T999 is running Liquidsmooth ROM JB v2.0 with its Stock Kernel (Lean Kernel) and TWRP Touch Recovery.
Screenshot attached.

how come i am getting like 16000 regularly with many roms, lowest was 10,000 but there was an issue with crap running in the background then, and i was playing with other stuff, mostly trying to check the cpu temp etc... but what gives? is no one else here using antutu 4?

Best Root/Recovery Method Sticky Please

I know this doesn't belong here, but can someone please make a sticky of directions on how to install Chris41G's stock recovery kernel for the noobs? His kernel is the real deal stock and the ONLY kernel that people should be flashing at this point. All others are flawed due to Samsung's inaccurate source release. The custom kernels just cause problems. I wish we could delete those posts to be honest.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
I'm not being a di*k but his directions are really clear, try to read them few times and you will be good to go.
to say that the custom kernels shouldnt be here is a flawed argument imo... there are tradeoffs.. LoStKernel provides drastic reductions in LoS, and for many improved signal, as well as better performance and battery. then, you add the experimental build.. and you get OC and UV and many other patches not available in stock..
bottom line, its a forum for open discussion, people are here to make their own decisions. I document all of my posted works as well as I can, and answer questions fairly often...
The purpose behind this topic was to try and alleviate all the noob posts regarding LOS. I am well aware of the other custom kernel options but was hoping that we could put an end to all the confusion with these custom kernels. Disregard if you think it won't help people on the fence like me who were not wiiling to give up stock until this solution was available.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
The term "stock" has been wronged.. to be quite honest.
You have "pulled" which has been faster, better, stronger, and LoSless for me. True stock. Remember that you can make voltage and over/under clock adjustments with the tegrak app available in the market.
Then you have "source" which has been problematic for most. Not true stock. I have tried them all and experienced LoS and lower benchmarks overall.
Choice is always a good thing but clarification is needed.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
To me its pretty simple....the same it should be for other people nowhere does it say I have to flash anything on the forum its up to me to make a educated decision. But its not up to you to decide what should be in the dev forum....

First, I am not friends with Chris. Second, I flashed his kernel based on the logic that it is actually a stock kernel with CWM added in. I am not dissapointed at all, my phone behaves EXACTLY as it did before I popped my stock cherry. This is the one for people to flash if they want root/recovery on stock, that's all I'm saying.
The fact that it is getting attention is exactly what i wanted. Lets get everyone a reliable root and the devs/future devs can really start cooking.

Most people who are getting 5000+ quadrant score are flashing it completely new, closing all programs, then running the quadrant test 3-4 times.
Yep...I got 5329 on antutu

reboot then try and run quadrant it runs best after a reboot when all the RAM and other services are refreshed.
Don't out too much stock into it. The scores can be made to look anyway someone wants with the right tweaks. I can show you a rom that scores over 9000 but lags like hell in real world use. Benchmark scores are pointless

Quadrant doesn't even support dual core so unfortunately its a **** reference.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
So why are people bragging about there benchmark speeds. Why does it matter if the quadrant scores ref dual core or not? Its still checking all the functions of your device and how your cpu performs those functions, so in away it does reflect the dual core but not specifically or completely. Until a better benchmark comes out this is what we have to work with, but using Quadrant I score around 3000 while the guys running the roms run about 5000....that makes alot more sense to me than this other bench mark app that says I am running at a faster benchmark than a completely rooted device with a rom.
Oh well...all i know is all is well...running silky smooth...i hate touch wiz...tnx for all the suggestions guys

A lower score with ics would actually make sense. Assuming its is really ics. ICS is much more a system hog itself than previous os. The only reason the transformer prime scores high is because it's a pentacore device so the test stresses all the cores.

Very true, the Exynos is able to keep even with benchmarks, only because it's just a much better CPU, thanks to the Cortex A9 tech. The S3, which snappy, will lose some performance on ICS, most likely not noticeable, but you will lose it on benchmarks.
Remember Rev and his ics build and how much crap people gave him because his build prop was 4.0.3? It's gotta be that.

I guess you have to wait, or you might be in luck and get it.

It' all really personal preferences. I've flashed all the roms and each roms have there own special features. Your best bet is to flash and see. Happy flashing
I flash a few this week and the best I've used is Infamous Resurrection really fast and stable and isnt theme all blingy.

Try every other rom if you're looking for a good combination of battery life, speed, or whatever else you may want from your phone. But, in terms of stability and stability alone, I'd most likely suggest any TW 4.03 roms in the android development forums (notably Darkside.evolution v8 if you can find a link). All of which are known to be incredibly stable
I've tried quite a few now, Honestly I like the basic vanilla roms... Ran CM9 for a few months and now Im running AOKP 6. Found them both extremely stable and simple. Prefer AOKP to be honest
