I want to make a custom status bar for android, but I will use it on my Samsung galaxy ace. I DON'T want to root my phone to do so. I will make this open source which I will upload to my app website every time I update the code. Anyone want to help?
There's no way doing so without root. You may mod that based on a rooted custom rom

I recently rooted my samsung galaxy Y and then through system app remover accidentally removed the stock clock application. Due to this i am not able to set alarm. I cant open stopwatch or stopclock. Please post the stock clock file here and instruct me about how to install. Please reply quick.
Hi I am currently attempting to build my first custom rom and am looking for a guide, .apk file or flashable zip file for the following features/apps for 4.1.2 touchwiz:
1.) A guide to having themeing/having working multi-window
2.) Pop-up browser
3.) a guide to installing (and themeing) aosp 4.1 lockscreen on touchwiz
4.) Paper Artist
5.) a guide/flashable zip for placing in a nav bar
6.) How to add/remove text on toggles in notification drawer
If anyone could provide me with links, or just direct information on how to do any of these things, that would be greatly appreciated

I have an idea that is try to hide quick setting in Stock Android 4.3 deodexed ,just like one of Slimbean feature.
I am trying to using Setting button to replace Quicksetting button.
Tried to do this in SystemUI.apk but FC.
Anyone can help me

Hello, waiting for italian/EU_common firmware... I made some same test about a future G3 UI porting.
Because I really like the result... I've decided to share the mod with everyone
Mod turn notification area similar to the new G3 UI. But this mod is for stock odexed jelly bean (4.1.2) rom
To install it you need root and a file manager.
instruction:
- put apk in attachment into your device
- open file manager
- paste file into SYSTEM/APP directory (replace the file? yes, you still have a backup true????)
- reboot!
this mod work for sure with E97510d-EUR-XX firmware. Don't install on other version!!!
(trasparent status bar and White kitkat style status bar icon are obtained by xposed framework... not included in the mod)
screen shots and apk in attachment, bye!

How did you make this? I am interested in doing something similar for LS970
I'm so sad it didn't work for E97510j-AME-xx. Gives forceclose.but I was able to replace the backup apk easily...
Can you describe how did you make it for your version?
Or can you do it for E97510j version if I give you the apk?
