Some Horizontal Lines... - HTC One X

Hi Xda Members!
This is my first thread here.
I have some trouble with my HOX, because I see lines on LCD in some strict conditions: uninstalling an application, and editing preferences in firefox.
"My device was in service"- they was reinstall all Android, and give it back to me 2 weeks alter... But problem is not solved.
Please help me, Xda Members- it's annoying to have new phone, with this.
Greetings, Alves.co

It's the background image, not the LCD.

It's just background, it isn't an issue don't worry about it

Thanks for your replies.
Do you think, that this background shouldn't be smooth? (From grey to black - without any lines)
I don't see anybody, who has this kind of 'background'
But - if you're right, I'll be very happy! Apart of that (and bariery of course) HOX is amazing!

As we both mentioned, it is the image is not smooth, your LCD is reproducing it correctly, lots of people have complained about it, its normal.

Thank you!
I've searched "all the Internet", and I don't found any info about it.
Have you any links to thread about this?
It's nice to know that my device is without hardware issues.
now I can modify it!
Once again: thank you very much!

Browser selecting text issue

Hello guys,
I'm using the one X from several days already and got the two updates also and now i'm on 1.29 europe version.
Now when I needed i noticed that's impossible to select text with the browser. It jusg start messing, and you can't do anything. I cant tell if this problem persists in the previous versions of the FW, Because i guess is the browser issue, but if someone found a solution for fixing this will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
that's odd! When I long press I get the tabs either, but when I try to select something, they became acting crazy. Is it possible to be only me? the phone is brand new i I have installed only a few messengers like whatsapp and few other, but my point is that I just start using it on max, and such minor things makes me crazy..
please if someone noticed DA same issue, report here, at least to know that Im not the only one.
Thanks

Blue line problem

Hello,
My sister her htc one V has a weird problem.
Every touch she makes there is a blue line who follows her finger.
Also behind the notification bar is a weird red/white bar with different numbers. ( see screenshots)
Does anyone recognise this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix it?
Kind regards,,
Drowzz

With an attitude like that you will not be on this forum long! @vin4yak simply tried to help you, he doesn't know you so he can't possibly know if you are stupid or not. The obvious has to be stated first as that usually solves the problem. I think an apology might be in order ?

I apologise to him
But still that was just way too obvious .. If itnwas a hidden menu or something fair enough... Untwiist your thongs mate and loosen up... I called him bro for a reason... What i said showed frustration that's all

See Vin ! This is what we talked about this morning
I haven't used pa so you will have to bear with me, does pa have pulldown quick settings ? You could add a tile for rotation there

Go to settings_toolbars_quick settings panel_ tiles and layout then click (add) and choose from list ( orientation) .that should let you activate or radioactive rotation right from status bar.
I hope that helps )

It is damn too sensitive, do you know if there is a way to adjust the sensivity of the screen?
I,m on stock 4.2 rooted, but even before I rooted it had same sensivity.

Same issue here also. Extreme sensitivity which makes browsing and using the phone quite awkward.Things improved by unticking the 3 finger gestures in settings, but still pretty sensitive.

I see this kind of bug, because it is causing a lot of problems to work with phone.

Change color of messages bar

Finally got the wife to move over from the dark side, iPhone, to Android! It's the little things in life... Anyways, of course she wants it all pretty like the iPhone, so I've been trying to help her customize it pretty good. In the stock messaging app, you can change the theme. But, is there any way to change the color of the bar at the very top that says "Messages"? It stays blue!

I believe not yet . . I know there's a lot of people requesting the option to change the colours to their own but nothing yet . . I'm sure rooting would allow it some way but I've yet to take the plunge of rooting my M8

Thanks for the responses. Now we're having issues with the TV app. I was able to set mine up just fine. On hers, when she get to the screen where it asks for your favorite TV shows, then hits next, we get an error message... Something about not being able to retrieve the data from the server.. I've tried everything.. uninstalling the update, which just updates when you open the app, clearing the app data/cache, etc. Any ideas on this one?
