ROM Development Team (Name to be decided)

Team MIU-Y is hiring. Team MIU-Y is a ROM development team. This will focus on building ROMs based on not working ROMS such as CM7 just to give you the look of CM7 and make you feel, yes, you have a CM7 working phone. This name can be changed depending on the Votes. MIU-Y is just for reference.
Prior knowledge required (Any two) -
Resizing and changing icons
Building ROMs with dsixda kitchen (Not mandatory)
Themeing knowledge
Framework-res and tw-framework knowledge
Know what to remove and what not to in system folder
Positions Open -
Name - Open - Requirements
Testers - 16 - N.A.
Assistant - 1 - Knowledge on sources
Developers - 10 - At least 2 complete projects
Info Finder - 8 - Take out info

For example if I want you to find out an app.. Or a tutorial.. Or information on something.. Then your job will be to find out.. You must know what are the good places that you can find them.

Don't worry. The 14 toggle status I was working on is now almost complete. Resizing is getting tooooo difficult as I am going through a lot of problems with Photoshop. Some pics go easily whereas some get distorted.
That problem is only with my PC... Dat is why I want more an more ppl.

About usr rom v3

Its a request from a active viewer and so called noob fron india.after much comparisons and testing i was fully satisfied with usr rom v3 with its awesome looks , features and performance.
Later i noticed the dispute about the rom as a theft from creeds rom.but as a user i can feel the diffrence fron both rom and sir evanlocked had also done much work on it rather than just themeing or a cooked rom.
So i kindly request the dorm moderators and senior devs to open up the thread and support the development for our galaxy y. Its a request purely from an end user.

we already PM'ed the mods,
creed even gave a go signal

Sir I am very sad to read this but sir such difficult situation comes in life we need not to run away from that rather we should fight it bravely.as you have really taken much efforts to developed such a beautiful rom though u used some things from creed.but it not offence at all as xda is forum for sharing and gaining knowledge if we stop at certain level neither xda nor its meamber (developer) will grow.and mainly it is made for them who are actually testing the fruit will never happy with such attitude of devloper
One thing everybody must understand that it is being developed for the people like us and not for the commercial use.so such problem must be resolved with mutual understanding between developers. And I completery agree that credit must be given to the original dev.
Because ultimate sufferer are endusers who will not get something ultimate to test it.
So my humble request to u as well as all developers please don't restrict others to use your work because your ultimate aim is to give maximum to users. It will really serve the purpose.
It is just my opinion final call is yours.

How did you fix the dailer leak ? Is there a thread you can refer me too. Good rom you've made there but i prefer to stick as stock as possible so if I could fix the battery leak w/o switching roms and/or reflashing taht would be perfect for me

Idogx made chinese rom with chinese apps and stuff no english support. Plus everyone gave him credit in their roms. I dont think you can use that as an example ... Its like saying your rom is actualy HTC's with some wallpapers

You don't know the whole story.
No credit was given and the original author was quite upset (can you guess why?).
But don't take my word for it. All of this was quite public and you can probably still find it on these XDA forums. The XDA mods were involved and it was taken quite seriously.
The point is: don't steal people's sh1t and pass it off as your own. If you must, then at least do something more than changing the wallpaper! Put some effort into it so the community knows that at least you tried. Jeeze... and giving credit to the original author wouldn't hurt, either.

i'd suggest giving something new,
you are not obliged to do what i said since you are entitled to your own work,

i just suggested to make something original,
you already partake in the copyright of others when you release a derivative work,
it's logic.
to protect yourself from either being banned or infracted,
just keep safe,
ask avijit's permission first through email or facebook since the little rascal is banned from xda, and post a screenshot of the approval together with your work,

i would say it's pretty good. the phone sleep properly.
battery life depends on apps, not kernel, i think

Battery life depends on a combination like rom kernel radio aka baseband the amount of apps you have and most of all the amount of accounts you have syncing also google now and google latitude is what rapes the battery
