I just want to Thank everyone on xda for helping me to fix/flashing roms/rooting/s-off my galaxy s3 and DHD. And not even thanked individually everyone for using there Rom/mods/tweaks/guide.

Wow. That's such an insightful post.
It's really quite shocking that out of approximately 4.5 million users that you'd think you're the only user here who thinks that this is "the greatest development forum".
May I make a suggestion?
Instead of jumping through random threads across XDA to tell people pointless stuff just to get up to 10 posts, you actually devote a bit of your time to reading threads such as :-
Forum Rules
Postcount limit in the developmental fora
Get the most out of XDA
XDA New User Guide
Now, you might be thinking that reading all of them might take quite a bit of time, and you're right. But it's either spend the time to read and follow what is said in those threads, or keep on doing what you are and quickly find that a moderator has deleted your posts because they're spamming.
The choice is yours
Oh, and please don't think that those threads were written for people like you just to ignore. That would be a really silly presumption to make and you'd quickly find out that those threads are in place to make this a much better place for all of us.
However, if you're struggling to think of how to get a legitimate 10 posts, then you should start off by answering peoples question in the General and Q&A sections for your device.

Receive notification when OP is edited.

Is there such thing as receiving a notification when the first post of the thread I am subscribed to has been edited? It would be especially helpful on the developers' subforum.

It would be nice but no there is no way to get a notification when the op is edited.

No need to worry though, because usually OPs post a reply in the thread that the first post has been edited. Like "updated to 2.1 version, please check the first post".

Unfortunately, that is caused by people posting stuff in the Dev threads that shouldn't be there. If people could actually understand what the Dev threads are for and not post cr4p in there like "Thanks" or "Why doesn't this work - I haven't bothered searching".

Gs3 vs competition annoying threads!

Am i the only one getting annoyed from all these noobs creating new threads about upcoming devices? Can't people just do their own research and decide what phone to get??! Unless these noobs see us xda members as spiritual leaders...and whatever we tell them, they will do it

Not alone, but not with just the over abundance of these threads in particular, it also seems like a bunch of people just went out and got the phone and think they are the first to have issues of their own. In general people need to search more often and post less.

Why yes I did, but all they are is people saying stop asking. I don't see any actual answers or what is missing. I am not asking for ETA's or anything like that, this isn't my first day. But it just seems like this phone is about dead on the development side. The ATT seems to have much more of a following.

We have a lot of great devs and they work really hard behind the scenes they just don't like to be bugged or asked a lot. Thanks for being mature about this thread unlike some others. Yes it's on it's way, yes our devs are working hard. All we can do is let them work
As for what's missing I'm not the best to ask but up until know I'm pretty sure we were waiting on JB source, which just dropped last week

What's not working: nfc, GPS, camera, issues with efs & screen shadowing

Can we go one day? Just one day without a thread like this.

I just got word that all development for this device has ceased. I'm jumping ship now and moving back to my HTC Hero, as it's the best phone out besides this. Plus, Donut was the best of the OS versions. Please take heed to my word, and I'll see you all on PPCGeeks.

Updates On Root

Made this thread to see if we get any updates if root is out for our phone, as i am subbed to this thread would be easy to know if root is out or not as i will get notified by xda app.....dont know if this is against any rules, if so lock....

Xda is a joke. Daddy had to step in on the other thread and close it down. This community is all about free and open source but the threads aren't they are heavily monitored and if you get out of line the moderators come down with the hammer aka mouse and keyboard. If you don't like someone's post ignore it pretty simple right? I too get mad when I see someone has posted in the root progress thread and it's a clown asking is root has been achieved yet. But I'm a man and can handle a clown here and there you just ignore them. I'm more pissed at the moderator for overreaching his powers.

Even if the app had a delete button I think my post is justified to stay and make its point. The other thread had 1k post more than any other In the note 4 AT&T threads. The only thing closing it does is stifle development even more.

I agree, I've never spoke in the thread but honestly I check on it once a day, an they had some good info. yea I didn't like people that commented and didn't help. Now it's like no info... I own AT&T Note 4, so I'm just waiting for the day its rooted. This is the go-to website for phones roots...

I never wrote a thing in the thread either. I have nothing to contribute to root. Besides a pat on the back and some bounty money. I am on the VRZ Note 4 and patiently waiting for root.

First of all they closed the root thread because of people like you, who expect the world but contribute nothing and don't know how to follow the rules. The mere fact that you posted "xda is a joke" is the most disrespectful, ungrateful behavior I've witness on here. The mods do an amazing job keeping up with all the threads, and for you to disrespect them and xda makes me sick. I hope you, your computer, tablet, and phone catch a virus.
