I am using AokPlay by Supervenom.
I have installed some Xperia Play Optimized Games, such as NOVA 3, Shadowgun, and Hyperlight, but they do not seem to recognize that it was an Xperia Play, and I had to use the Touch Screen controls.
Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

It would be best to check on the thread you got the ROM from and see what game problems other users have been having. You can also Try Markphyton's ICS or XDarkmario's ICS.

hi im new here.i just bought nova 3 from market.currently im using doomkernel v14 with stock gb rom.i got problem with this game which is my game pad is not working accept both analog.i've tried with other's game like gta vice city , maxpayne ..no problem. my question is ,is it possible the troubleshoot caused by i download nova 3 wrong version not for xperia play..thanx

Maybe the version you are using isn't 'xperia play optimized'. You need to find the correct version that is optimized

Well ever seens i added cyanogenmod 7 my little analog touch buttons thing stopped working. I download a tester and they work but not for games. can anyone help i miss playing minecraft

I think I've heard a few other people having that same problem with CM7.
Maybe you should ask this in the CM7 thread, the chance of a correct and usable answer will be bigger.

Touchpads don't work in CDMA Plays. Wait until they fix them in your version.

yep, running perfectly on my tab (Using Chainfire3D)
recently i got it working
after repeating downloading nearly 100 times -.-
but now it works but with high details there are some lags -.-

could everybody in here please state their version numbers with the games, that very important for others to find the right one. There are so many different versions of the same game...
I would gladly support and be helpful to create a gamelist similar like the one in the GEn8 section.
I also think this is the way to do it. State versionnumber, which device, ect....

I can't seem to get game loft games working.
I am on rooted 4.0.6 with chainfire3d.
Could being on ICS be a problem? I guess all the games shared here are working on a HC archos gen9.
The only game that works is the demo of asphalt 6.
I would love to get all the major race games to work like : real racing, asphalt 6 full game, gt racing, nfs shift....
Please any help would be appreciated.

The touch pads work fine on other games, just not Modern combat 4. Does anyone know why?
Which vers?? I'm running the 1st official vers & havent update it since coz it work. Dont want to bother updating coz thing like this.

Weird.. I'm running the same & it work awesomely, the touchpad. How come it didnt work on your?? Did u try it with other gmes to see if it work??

I have the same issue, running stock with turbo kernel. Touchpads works in other games just not modern combat, also doesn't run that well with my play :/ seems to run lower fps
For me it only happens when using turbo kernel.
simple tried.....Open game mc4, play... If move touchpad won't work.. just slide you gamepad... use your analog pad for while
and close gamepad, and use touchpad again... It worked for me....
Hi guys, I'm sure as Xperia Play users you're probably big into emulators, and if you're into those then you probably know about Retroarch. Retroarch Xperia Play support has been broken for several updates now and the team behind it needs help.
I was halfway through RE Nemesis, which ran amazingly on the Play, when I lost support. It hurts!
They need someone with development knowledge to help them out. If I had that knowledge I would do it myself, but the best I can do to help is come from their forum to this Xperia Play community to reach out to another owner.
Somebody please sign up for the Libretro forum and help the team fix Xperia Play support. One of the devs said that "What we need is ONE single developer who happens to own this thing (Xperia Play) that can go through the commits and tell us EXACTLY at what commit Xperia Play controls stopped working."

I am in no way affiliated with Retroarch, I just want it to bloody work on my Play. It's a great emulator and I've used it on my PC, WII, and Play.
I support this, this is the only emu that has UmJammer Lammy and Parappa working flawlessly, and the updates killed that So having to use an older build is the only way sadly.. Unfortunatly im not a dev so i cant help them ><

Yeah, it's odd, R12 (the last working one) refuses to install properly on my system from the APK, so it's new version or nothing.
Someone help Retroarch!
I think this is the best emulator for Xperia Play because you can play psx games in high resolution without lag while other emulators lag in high resolution. Only problem is the broken touchpad that goes crazy.
Last version from the play store works really good if u map buttons manually except for the touchpad. Someone please help them to fix this amazing emulator with the broken touchpad, we need it for our play, we have amazing developers im sure it wont be difficult for someone to fix it ... thanks

Donated an Xperia Play to the team, hopefully they'll have this **** sorted out soon.
I've noticed this on all my Custom PAC MAN roms, I'm able to install the Subway Surfer app, but when I click on the icon to play the game. All I get is a black screen on my phone. Is there a way to play this game on this rom, or will I have to get a new rom to play?

Seems like a silly deal breaker to me....but so you know, I've seen this posted in other 4.2.2 threads. So its not just pac man.
Maybe try a 4.1.2 rom, or find a different game.

Me and my girlfriend "compete" against each other, and since I lost my iPhone, this is the only phone I have that I can download the game and play. Since it looks like a 4.2.2 problem, I'll probably get a 4.1.2 rom and see if it work, but thank you for your help:good:
I've noticed the same problem not only with subway surfers but other games as well. Ever since 4.2.2 CM 10.1 and 10.1.1 I had to revert back to 4.1.2 myself because the games that I play on the regular don't work with 4.2.2 or 4.3
Hopefully there's a fix for it soon.
For now I'll stick with LiquidSmooth 2.9
