Nah, not possible to undervolt it that much. Have never seen someone with more undervolting than -200mv.
And the battery isn't gonna last that long even with super under clocking and undervolting cuz the screen is such a battery eater.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Sorry but very real. And very possible. I was quite surprised when I saw 10 hours screen on time as I get around 4 hours on normal day. But I guess using One X for reading in dim environment with excellent wifi connection extended battery life.
If you don't believe me try it yourself. But remember you'll need a lot of time

I was sick and I stayed at home reading a book and forums and wiki... In dark environment as sun was hurting my eyes. Well I'm still sick but I had to go to work today and since I was out today I'm looking at 5 hours screen on time today. See below:

When you're on WiFi and low brightness with no real data usage the One X can easily get insane battery life.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using Tapatalk 2
Word! 3g is a little ***** when it comes to battery life and auto brightness as well as anything above 25% brightness seems to unleash havoc on the battery life as we.. however for indoors usage you will not really need more than 15% brightness. Can stick to 0% too bit then it feels dim like the sgs3 screen at 80% brightness
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
This doesn't prove ****. I struggle to get 3+ hours out of mine when i use the phone. I am starting to doubt that i neee all this quad core ****. Would easily give up a few core for a few hours of on screen time.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
11 hours is definitely possible if your just using the kindle app with low brightness.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
This is my score with my normal usage. Auto brightness, mostly on 3g, even 20 min of Angry Birds. Looks like I'll be getting 1h more screen on time after this update.

Sent from my E15i using XDA App
3hrs 30min of screen on time, and your phone was awake like 90% of the battery cycle. That's pretty much normal...
You were actively heavily using your phone for hours at a time. What the hell did you expect?
I have no complaints. On this charge I did a bunch of reading with Aldiko, playing with Maps and Earth, and some Flick Golf and a bunch of text messages. I don't think I had a single phone call. Screen on time was just over 3 hours. At this rate I could get an entire 24 hours on a single charge.

Mine's the best I've had on an Android phone, my Optimus 3D used to last around 8 hours, my desire around 10, my G1 around 18 (this shows how I use it and what I have running).
The GN lasts around 24 hours, in fact, since I got it around 3 weeks ago I've only been in the red twice.
I went out for my sons 2nd birthday 2 weeks ago, from 10AM until 3PM I was filming a LOT (including using the light when indoors) as well as taking photos. by 4PM it was still at 50%
and I'm loving how quick it charges!
Also, takes me around 1-1.5 hours to full charge...but I am not using the bundled adapter though...
The battery is definitely way way way better than the Optimus 3D.

Are you just turning your screen timeout to infinite, turning the phone on, and letting it sit to see how long it goes?
Wow, that's pretty good. You could theoretically get ~6 hours screen time with the entire battery which was unheard of prior to 4.0.4. I believe it was generally accepted that approximately 4 hour screen time is usually the max.

THAT is the actual battery improvement, the phone itself uses like next to none to run now, only the screen draining. I went from around 25% Android OS to like 3-4% (as well as other core apps went down).
I use my phone extensively (although no games), and my screen % is like 75-80% (at 95% of the time being minimum brightness [5])

Android OS used 3-4% before the update as well. The ~25% was a bug in AOSP 4.0.2 and 4.0.3. It just showed high use, but wasn't actually draining that much.

I'd think that a lot of this power savings comes from not using the LTE modem and just using CDMA. But I'm probably wrong. Makes me wish the 4.0.4 update would arrive here.

I'm seeing modest improvements:
autobrightness, 2h music, 4h 3g data, rest of wifi, stock kernel, interactive 350-1200
This is pretty good for stock kernel compared to 4.0.2 . It's slightly better than what I usually get with imo's kernel on 4.0.2
Anybody find a nice trick pass that screen time barrier??? Most people reach 2 hours and it seems no one can pass that barrier.
The only thing you can affect and make better is when the phone is off.
The farthest I've reached is 2h 30m on a light day.

Do you sleep? at 9am you have already had 9Hrs on battery which then extended to 17Hrs by 5pm.. because I get around 22+Hrs before I need to charge but I never get that far as I charge over night, if you use phone longer than the time frame you are giving us then id recommend a external battery to last you the rest of the way!
Do you mean your phone was fine while on 4G before and it's only draining battery this fast now, or are you asking why your phone is draining battery a lot with 4G when compared to WiFi? If it's the latter, then it will. WiFi uses very little power so it hardly affects battery drain. 4G on the other hand is a huge drainer. I don't have 4G in my country but it's a known fact that it drains battery fast. Especially from your battery usage I see you've used Chrome quite a bit. Web browsing + 4G = very fast battery drain. Here, my friend's One X doesn't last too long on 3G itself. Especially if it's being used actively for streaming music or web browsing. The only way to get this phone to last through the day is to not use the screen too much and to keep it on 2G (or the CDMA equivalent of it).

4 hours screen time I think its pretty decent, its almost what I used to get with my galaxy note.
So very impressed with the battery, becouse I always heard that it sucked. Whats more, I already bought one 2000mA becouse of these comments. I guess I will get even better battery life then

I too am still on jb stock and getting great battery life. On a side note, your still stock? Hard to beleive for a cappy developer. But with stock jb i havnt found a need or desire to flash any roms as i did with the cappy.

10 hours standby?
I get that easily, I go about 18 hours off charger and that's with 4 hours screen on time, I can go a day and a half with less screen on time.

seriously what do you guys use your phone for? I'm constantly on the browser (wifi) with auto sync off and most under background syncing off for other applications and still only manage around 3-4 hours screen on with extended GSM battery
Jellybean stock and Franco kernel

No I'm on 3G. LTE is not common in Germany. Way too expensive and it's only provided in a very small amount of cities

I think a lot of people think gnex battery life is terrible due to LTE version. GSM version rocks with good battery life
