Exactly as said above, the entire Galaxy Nexus seems to be white, the digitialzer (which was always black before) is white also. Looks like a choppy image however, anyone bought it/planning on getting it and able to post pics?

The Expansys solds phone worldwide, and even Japanese buy some "imported" phones at their country.
Well,I suggest contact for more information,if U still not trust them,U should not buy.
That's all.
Expansys is a very well known website looks legit to me. You can always call to make sure its not an error/inaccurate picture.

Don't think this phone exists... I feel like they just accidentally took one of the photos that was made when the first rumors of the white model came out.
It may or may not exist. They could have colored it themselves, and are selling it off as completely white, or it's like martonikaj said.
Do not check "yes this is a question" unless you are posting in Q&A.
I took the [Q] out of the title since this is a more general topic
Thanks

We definitely did not color it ourselves However, we are discontinuing them. Have a few more than backordered on the way in, but then we wont be offering them anymore.

Hi Corey, thanks for responding.
Just curious, where did you get fully white GNs? I thought they were never manufactured? Is this the work of a third party custom job?
it says the item is discontinued to me
If you check YouTube, you'll see several reviews of full-white Gnex's. It's legit, apparently.

I'm not saying that they're scammers or anything, I'm asking if people have actually seen this, or that its a fake picture, and will come white like other Galaxy Nexii. U should use "you", that is all.

We get them from a few different suppliers actually. I've never opened one myself. It will be back live on the site shortly, for the few remaining ones. We bought a large amount on a closeout, and then got enough to cover our orders + a few extra. Seems someone discontinued it a bit to early so we fixed it. Will come back online soon.
I wonder who made them. They must be custom built... right?

White case, black face
I'm looking right this second at the white GN I bought from Expansys. The body of the phone is white (and gorgeous, might I add), while the front face is black. The photo on Expansys showed an entirely white phone, but I just assumed it was an incorrect photo. (And I was right.)
And, for what it's worth, it came with a UK (I believe? Definitely not standard USA) charger, and an adapter to fit it into a standard USA outlet.
Since it looks like one of the Expansys fellas is in this thread, thanks a lot. Really enjoying my purchase :]

I'm glad my purchase served a greater purpose than simply satisfying my annual gadget refresh compulsion :]
The photo on their page really is sort of confusing. But, given how many black-and-white shots and reviews I saw, I sort of went with Occum's Razor.
Really minor point, but definitely one that confused me for a bit too.
FWIW...I just ordered one the other day and it is white body with black face. I was hoping for something unique. But oh well. Still a pretty phone.
Awwww I was pretty excited as well.
Oh well, just buy a white skin and it'll look the same.

Hey so I just got a I747 and I am loving it! The problem is it came in blue/it didn't come with a back door battery cover (I only paid $290 for it too!). Well I don't really like the pebble blue scheme, and prefer the white GS3. So I have been looking for the white housing and I have found it for the i9300, but will it fit the i747? One reason I am asking this is because AT&T uses the micro sim card on the i747, but does the i9300 also use a micro sim slot or a regular sim slot?
Here is a link the listing.

I'm also interested in this. I bought the wife the white I9300 a few months back, I have a Red I747 in route and if I can I'd like to switch the housings for her so she can keep her international model and send the AT&T on back to my mom to use since we don't have 4G where we live. :good:

I can confirm that Yes the i9300 uses the micro SIM.
I'd yield to the more experienced folks on here about the casing being different. I'm sure if you dig around on Google you can find someone who will sell stickers to change the appearance or you can always put a case on it. Besides, unless you're really good, that's the type of hardware surgery that can become an epic fail!

Shouldn't be all that hard, just be careful because the plastic frame beneath the back cover holds the antennas, so a poorly fitted install or accidental jostling of the wrong parts on the motherboard can ruin the reception of the phone.

So, I'm looking for a new LCD for my recently acquired gnex. Everything on it is working perfect except the lcd has what looks almost like damage from a magnet in the bottom right corner. I've looked around a little bit but can't find any for less than almost 200 usd. That's more than I paid for the phone and I refuse to pay that much for a single part. Does anyone here know where I should look?

E-bay has always been cheapest on spare parts when I repair phones.
If it's still too expensive, either by another ruined gnex, where the LCD is intact, or sell yours as damaged and buy a new device.

After sending my faulty galaxy s3 in for repair at telus, then getting it back with a scratched/cracked camera lens, they gave me a brand new galaxy s3 replacement. Im not sure if "brand new" is actually brand new or not, but I saw the guy take it out of the box and everything. So I've had it for about 4 days and I noticed a blue dot on my screen, which kind of looks like a dead pixel but I can see the dot when the the device is turned off too, and it looks like its blue coloured.
Has anyone else had problems like this?
Also on a replacement device, do stores usually allow exchanges on them?
Thanks

Well, sad day today. A golf ball landed on my galaxy s3's screen. Needless to say, golf ball > galaxy s3.
Called customer service to see how much it is to be replaced, and with my insurance, its a big 166$. Ridiculous.
EDIT:
My brother works at a Radio shack, and they'll fix it for like 100$.
Has anyone used Radio shack before to get a screen replacement? If so, how long did it take, and did they do a goob job?

Purchase the replacement screen on eBay, watch a video on youtube on the screen replacement. It's easier than you think and wouldn't cost much at all. If your opposed to that I would trust them, it's not difficult.

The 100$ is what my brother said, after looking online it actually ends up to being 329$.
I'm thinking I'll let T-Mobile do it... I don't want to risk destroying it myself..
Kind of sucks though, a golf ball dropped and cracked it as bad as it did, it's at the bottom, like right on the home button, but the crack went to nearly the top of the screen.
Did you check eBay?? I would think they were way under $100 for the screen.

Well I checked Amazon, I have Amazon Prime for free for being a student.. and they are around $15-20.
I just don't want to take the chance that i make it worse than it already is... I'm not good at all at doing things like that, I'd rather it be done by someone who knows what they are doing.
Also, they said I could use a phone from the T-Mobile store until mine is replaced, which is pretty cool..
Understandable you don't want to make it worse than it already is. Try looking for places in your local area, there are repair shops that fix phones and video game systems for a fraction of the cost. Some times on Groupon they have Groupons for say $60 for a screen replacement, that's always another option you could check out.

Yea, I will look around.. But I do like that I can take it to T-Mobile, and they will loan me a phone while it's being fixed. I'll have to odin it back to stock though. Oh well.

Can't hurt to check around. Anytime!
Ontop of having Radio Shack doing it...it will void your warranty...to keep your warranty either have T-Mobile or Samsung fix it.

Well I called the insurance company this morning. They said $150, and that my replacement phone will be here tomorrow.
All is well, atleast it still works so I can use it until the new one comes tomorrow. Glad im getting a new one as well, instead of just getting this one fixed and sent back.
Thanks for feedback guys! :victory:
Well, as new as a refurbished phone can get. Any replacement/warranty phone that congress from tmobile is most likely going to be refurbished. I know because I have one and I'm very nit picky about my phone and always find some small defect with it.

Yeah, I have had that experience as well... Although more often than not, I end up with a busted camera which is more than a *minor* defect...
Asurion sometimes sends out BNIB devices but only if a) they don't have a refurb on hand or b) you've gone through a few refurbs in a short time.
I tried fixing my Nexus One's cracked screen...ROYALLY ****ed it up (just a little too much glue & ripped a ribbon) and ended up wasting $150 even after selling it for parts on eBay.
I would say if you are thinking about doing it yourself and don't have a lot of patience/manual dexterity/proper tools & work environment, don't try.
Also I figure the S3 is probably a lot harder to take apart than my old N1.
