New shell?

Well I have just dropped my phone thanks to some sh** new gloves. Have been searching for a case also but no where has one.
Can I get a new shell for this? What r my options......?
Fuming is not even the word. Not once dropped my s2 in 6 months.

Ouch. I have a case on the way, don't even plan on using my phone until that thing arrives.
The bad news is that you may have to stomach that for a while, but Amazon has some nice cheap cases for it to cover it up. After a month or two, maybe more maybe less, there will be OEM parts you can just buy. If it's anything like the GS2 replacing the housing isn't that hard.

D'oh that's annoying, but I was expecting much worse to be honest. Get an opaque case and you'll never see it again.

Feels like a incomplete device now....
It be OK in the long run tho, I'll change it and it be new again!

I know what you mean, I went through it when I dropped my Nexus One on tarmac and dinged the metal.
It's case arrived the next day, sods law.

Well, think that if you had bought an iPhone 4 it would probably be shattered

I've seen a few in china already, china is usually the first place to get all the parts you need for any phones.

Wait, so the shell contains the camera lens assembly (i.e. in case I scratch my camera lens)? I'm not saying the whole camera, just the lens cover.
That's a surprisingly low price if so...
How do these Asian sellers get this stuff? Do they know a guy who knows a guy who works at the Korean assembly plant or something?

if you do a search tehre were at least two that i remember clicking.

I would pay upwards of $70 for a super thin wooden case. Maple or cedar would be amazing. I seen cases but there so fat. Just a super slim one would be nice.

I think quite a few kids that stalk these forums only look for cases that double as megatron transformer protectors of doom. I have a decent otterbox for when I go out to the field (military), and then a few nice thin ones for daily use. If you guys find any decent bamboo ones share the links!

What's with the hate on wooden cases? Unless someone can provide proof or situations where wooden cases have caused some sort of excessive overheating/burning... there's no reason it's a stupid idea. I have seen MUCH more ridiculous cases posted by people on this website. Tacky colors, cheap materials, hideous design concepts... how are those any less stupid than a wooden case? People pay thousands of dollars to have wood floors installed in their homes yet in order to improve its look yet it's a stupid idea to pay $40 for a case? Grow up kids.

Could you please provide a link to it or maybe provide a brand name? I'm not familiar with Etsy at all. A quick search on the site only found me a clip on back case similar to that one. Yours looks like its a slider and provides much more protection. It looks great and I'd definitely buy it if it's still available on etsy.
I also found some on eBay but I really hate buying from there especially when it comes from overseas since I almost got ripped off for an "OEM" Samsung Flip cover once before.

I have a Gild bumper, the only downside to it is the price. Protection is great on it and it also contours the actual phone. Im selling it if you are interested (time to move onto a different phone for me).

the only thing i can tell you is that, the fake batteries have a a part of the back written with a serif text Font like this one...... " the text in the battery " and salam just be careful

I've checked it on my Note 2 and they are the same. But I bought this over a year ago.

if the battery life is poor on the phone just go buy a new battery. OEM batteries are about 10-20$.....

I have bought off batteries online, some insanely cheap "originals" as well. Upon arrival, it looks almost exactly like the real one, written "Made in Korea" as well. If I didn't have another original one to compare I won't notice a difference at all, until I use it and realise it drains very fast. called the seller up, and he had to admit it's made in China, and they are just "compatible OEM", obviously trying to smoke through.
In conclusion, I think you rather be off on the streets doing some odd jobs for 2-3 hours, get an original off reputable sellers, than to waste few days here, as you won't have an good and easy answer to it.

I think this will be the hardest part to find out if the battery is original or not.

Don't they have samsung store or representative in india?
