What is the most current official version of ICS available on the A100? - Acer Iconia Tab A100

The title says it, can anyone tell me what the current official release from Acer is? Is it 4.0.3 or 4.0.4? I cant find this info anywhere.

Thank you very much.

4.0.4 ICS....Though I recommend CM9 by pio_masaki in the DEV section, grab build 55, its been the most stable and performance is great!

Official ICS is 4.0.3, Acer hasn't updated us to 4.0.4 yet

Maybe Acer hasn't but pio_masaki and CM9 has got us to 4.0.4 so check your devs...
EDIT: You are pio_masaki and my CM9 nightly says 4.0.4. Also I gotta tell you anyone who is complaining can go F**** OFF! Your work on CM9 for the little ol' disregarded A100 has been soooo much appreciated by me!!! I love it and you are totally awesome! Anyone who complains can go to hell! Be appreciative! pio_masaki does not have to do this! He does this out of the kindness of his heart! So give thanks!!

Just rooted, I'll have to give this CM9 a go, Thanks.

[Q] Latest ICS or CM9?

Hello, I know there is ICS for the Inc. already . But what is the latest version you can get? I have ICS-Deck right now with alpha 5. Also I have been hearing things about CM9 coming to the Inc. Can somebody confirm?
The most up to date, best running version is the Evervolv preview 7. It is pretty stable.

[Q] ICS Update

does anyone know if their is going to be an IceCreamSandwich update for the dinc2 non rooted just a regular ol update. also do you know when if so.
I don't mean to be rude, but I actually can't understand what you wrote. :/
is their going to be and ics (ice cream sandwich) update for the droid incredible 2 without having to root and flash device.
Yes there will be an update from Verizon/Htc to Ics/Sense 3.6 (I assume it will be 3.6) sometime in the future. No root required. When, hopefully before the new year.
This ^^
Thanks for clarifying.
alright thanks but until then what would you recommend for the most stable ics rom?
AOKP build 32 with my Cam/Camcorder patch (within the last couple pages in general), aero's v9 kernel (rootzwiki cm9 unofficial thread), AGPS patch (somewhere in our dev section) and don't forget to flash the 3/17 gapps!
alright well im good with this stuff but not that good, i guess i would still be considered a noob :/
Google gave me a gift

[Q] Isn't CM9 an ICS ROM?

If not, then isn't it ICS based? I feel like I should be able to run MIUIv4 for my R800x if I could run CM9.
miuiv4 would be possible yes.
cm9 and miui v4 are both ics

Thank you. I have another question though. I saw an Xperia Play (GSM) running MIUI 1.12.30. in this video here. Is there a way I could get that rom running on my R800x?

I dont know why you would want to use that version, since the ICS based MIUI is far superior.
No one ever got BlendMIUI to work correctly on the R800x.
However, MIUIv4 work flawlessly on the R800x with the help of the CM9 GSM to CDMA patch, which can be found in the CM9 Nightlies thread.

Are there instructions on what to do with the patch and the ROM, because that's probably what I'm going to do. I can't post in the dev forum yet though.

[Q] Going from Cyanogenmod to ics beta

I am currently on cyanogenmod 7.2 stable release. i wanted to go the Official ICS beta but am unsure how I would do this.
I tried looking everywhere and i cant find anything.
I was looking at installing R800i_4.0.2.A.0.42_Generic_UK that I found on here as Sony Companion will not let me update to 4.0.2.A.0.42 as ! am on a modified mobile.
Does anyone know a better way than this or should i just flash this to my Xperia play and then update it to official ICS and then install Doomlords kernal v03 for ICS?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have only ever used cyanogenmod and their Xperia play roms are never that brilliant and wanted to try ICS.
I recommend you stay away from the ics beta as it's bad in many respects. You'll be better off trying cm9 or aokplay
Thanks for the advice. I went for CM9 fxp 125 in the end seems to be working really nice.
Only had one question though and that was in the guide on here it said I needed to update my baseband to .62
I didn't do that but seems to be working fine.
Will I get any benefits to updating to that?
Thanks again XDA members, you the best!

may i ask something? are you BLIND?
simple: NO.
cause 4.1 was the giveaway at the i/o for the visitors. a dump was used for the custom roms by bigxie and others... the nearest hat you asking for.
4.1.1 is the official jelly bean release by google.

Apologies for the wrong section, my mistake. [Moderator; Please could you move this thread?]
I shall go hunt for Bigxie's ROM, thanks, stock is exactly what I am looking for.
I tend to shy away from Custom ROM's I simply don't know enough to get my self out of trouble when it comes to updates/flashing if something goes wrong, hence my initial dumb question!

bigxie first modified the 4.1 version, then the 4.1.1 version, so you're both right.
