its always nice to have someone from past communities! what made you switch to the nexus?

Reserved.

Glad to see N7
Is it possible to swap the icons on the navbar? That was the only real problem I ran into on Cna.
Downloading now, and will flash later.
Thanks guys :good:

Only thing I miss that it doesn't have is a torch toggle. Other than that I believe it's a very complete rom.
Edit: Can't change navbar icons yet. Bummer.

It would be nice to know what "mods and edits" mean.

Is this CNA 3.2.0 base ?
And have do done anything under the hood for battery life ?
Since JB been experiencing horrible battery life with every ROM .

Battery life isn't THAT bad. The big thing is that it's just polling a lot more now thanks to Google Now.

Fixed now. You are all good to go!
I'll let you know if I have any outstanding issues, good work. Anything that we should be aware of out of the box?
Update: Install ended with a status of "Random offest 0xbd". Everything seems to be working so far. Signed into Google account and Talk. Pulling email from Exchange also seems to be working.
Update 2: When I pull the notification window all the way down I can't get it to go back up, I have to put to sleep then wake to get the notification window to go away.
Screens please.

CyanogenMod 9

Hey guys. Shot in the dark but does anyone know when we can expect to get a release, or even nightly cm9 builds for the GNex?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
Personally i think that they're more occupied with getting it to work on many of their devices, and when they do, they'll start adding some CM-features, and since we already got the stock build we won't need any nightlies for the "Getting it at all to work"-stuff.
That's just how i see it though.
indeed, there is absolutely no point in the Galaxy Nexus receiving the current nightlies. In fact there is no point for it to get support for Cyanogenmod 9 until the Cyanogenmod extra features start being implemented.
At the moment, it's literally just AOSP ICS. Since we already have actual fully working ICS, there is no need.

The CM Team don't give out ETAs, I think that's the first rule of the CM Team??
If there's one thing I know to be true in this world, it's this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"

Rumour has it that the team regularly Google for people asking for ETAs, and for each one they find they delay the next release by a day

Any idea who's on the GN's CM9 dev team? I'm guessing the big guns are (kondik & koush).

I know koush has the GSM version.
I believe, judging from their tweets, that @CM_arcee and @ChrisSoyars also have it or will be getting it.
As for Steve himself, well, he works for Samsung now

Akop

Hey does anyone use AKOP as your main rom? And if so which kernal goes great with it. I'm on build 26.

Why not ask in the akop thread here or the busier one at rootzwiki.com? That way you're almost guaranteed that whoever reading it is running the same rom you are .

Some people actually think the other way.
AOKP + Franco for me.
I'm using aokp26 with latest Franco kernel. Works perfect for me: no lags, buttery smooth, good performance and nice coustomization abilities.

You might get more views (from search results) if you correct the name in the thread and OP (AOKP, not AKOP).
Out of all kernel I tried trinity aelp is the best one.

Yes, if you are talking about the button less/full screen mod in "themes and apps" then yes, I'm using it now with LMT PIE and its awesome. (BTW, pie is the same thing as "quick controls" in the stock browser ) its nice because you actually get to utilize the entire screen and have the buttons come and go as you please . Something to look into.

Just flash in recovery and you're good to go.

uploaded the wrong file initially. It has been corrected.
This is absolutely the nicest combo out there. If any Sprint users are interested this works great on the Toroplus. It changed the Sprint to roaming indicator off but everything else is golden. I love the transparent menus!

What is this mod compatible with? Speaking in terms of Roms

Ive tried it with most of the JB roms, and I haven't found a problem with any so far. I'm using Vicious V3 right now.
Just Toro plus or will this work on Verizon GNex too?

I've only personally tested it on a VZ Nexus (Toro) and works perfectly, although it has been mentioned earlier that it works on ToroPlus also.

Theme just tested and confirmed to be fully working on GSM (Maguro) GNex.
Really good looking theme! Thanks!
If I didn't JUST get my JB all setup, I would totally use this. Looks very clean and well done. I'll probably download it just to have in the future.

Yes that's what I'm using it on
I love it, and its working with android revolution hd rom 5.0.1
However, i would prefer circle % battery, but finding a mod working on the rom i use + all other stuff
Thanks
well done!
I'm gonna be a newb in this thread for a sec and ask...what does
24dp navbar (portrait and landscape)
1% battery mod
do?
battery mod I'm assuming puts the percentage in the top status bar? whats 24dp do?
Also, this works on JB right? If I nandroid first, then flash and don't like, I can always go back?

Most ROMs like aokp and I think cm10 along with others usually have this as an option.
