I'm running jmz cm 9 beta and would like to know if there is a way to get the on screen navigation buttons. I know this should be posted on the Rom thread, but i don't have enough posts to to post there yet. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Okay, so I'm too new to XDA to post in the developers' thread, so I'm asking here: I have been flashing LC'a CM9 builds for the Desire HD on my Inspire 4g and am very excited about it. Everything works enough for me to make it a daily driver. However, I'm getting three soft keys on the screen, under the dock. I'm assuming these are the keys for a real DHD, where we have hard keys already. Was wondering if a: anyone else is getting them, and b: if/how they can be turned off.
Note: I didn't search the development thread, because I've read dang near every post, even the off-topic ones and didn't see any mention of the problem. But since that is a Desire HD forum, the issue may not be known (yet)
Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Should be an option in settings to disable the buttons...
From LC build 7.2 - 16-12-2011 changelog:
added On-Screen button toggle option in settings, requires reboot
(i'm not on ICS right now so i don't exactly know were it is located...)
Found it. It was under the (to me) non-intuitive location of "Settings->Display-> Enable/Disable Navigation Bar" (toggle).
I would have expected it to be in Trebuchet...
Thank you for the assistance.

Hi all!
First i would like to thank to all people that have made this forum, maintain it and help users. I am also very grateful for cyanogenmod that i am using.
Second of all, i have search this forum for a solution, and i didnt find it, i have used google too. If i have missed it somehow i apologize myself.
Since yesterday i am user of cyanogenmod 7.2.0-buzz and i like it so far (i didnt use any rom before as i had varanty which i didnt want to lose).
Everything is good so far, but there are 2 buggs (problems) which i dont know how to solve them, i would appreciate any help, even redirecting to another mod.
My problems are following:
- as several other members, i dont have working wifi (is there any solution for this in this particular mod version?)
- 4 main buttons of my htc wildfire always vibrate when i touch them (home, menu, back, search), i turn vibrating off in setting, but nothing happens. This is kinda annoying if text alot and surf the web.
So if anyone could help me fix it, i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
I don't know about the WiFi problem but for the soft keys go onto to settings-->sound-->haptic feedback. This worked for me and I am running the stable version of cm7.

Ok, im sorry. I will. It was my first post.
Somehow, i got wifi to work. Now everything is ok.
I'm running a recent CM10.1 nightly on my S3 and occasionally my home button starts to always bring up the list of recent apps. I mean a regular click, not long pressing, will bring up the task switcher instead of just going to the home screen. A reboot fixes the problem but I'm curious if anybody else has observed this issue. I've had this issue with previous versions of CM10 and CM10.1 as well.

All you have to do is reboot and its fixed. Thats it. If it does it again, reboot again.. its not a stable ROM yet so just deal with the little annoyances. Those annoyances dont even affect the awesomeness of this ROM.
I also have this issue, and while a reboot does fix it, that's not really an acceptable solution.
I'm not too savvy on how to log bugs for things like this, but does anyone know if this bug has been brought to the attention of the devs? If not, can anyone with more know-how take care of that?
Thanks
Yes the devs know about it. If its not acceptable to you then flash back to stock.

Hello,
First off, awesome work on PA, and it's a really awesome and stable ROM.
I only have one problem with it right now: I can't seem to make the navigation bar appear
I've searched through all of the settings for anything that would enable it but I couldn't find it.
I've tried both Immersive and Non-Immersive Modes, as well as Using Immersive Mode with all three settings (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48801767&postcount=10) and it never "shows up".
I understand that there's a setting to use the PIE controls, but even when I reset the preferences for that, and selected the "No" option to using it, I still can't make it appear.
I've used PA with the navigation bar before, so I'm not sure why this would occur only now.
Really hoping you could help me, so that I can stop using the physical buttons if possible
Thank you in advance!
Enzo
Your question would be better answered in your device port thread since its not an officially supported device
