I'm unable to post the links as xda won't let me but if you search "galaxy note II" on best buys website it should bring up 5 devices 2 for sprint the 2 for t-mobile and 1 for at&t.

Spoke to a Best Buy rep who said those actually have different stock numbers and that they're waiting on the contract models to arrive in the next few days.

depends on what stellar employee helps you out... some will im sure. they price matched me on my last phone $50 difference but got almost $40 in tax on top of it knocked off

Couldn't upgrade thru BB website last night.
Went to a local Best Buy this morning. No stock until next Friday (11/2). Same 299.99 for 2-year renewal. Tax will be like 60 some bucks.

wth do these cost so damn much more than a tablet with pretty much the same specs (gn10.1)?

On a whim yesterday, I stopped in a local Sprint store. Said they didn't know when it would be launched and wasn't expecting stock. About a mile away is another Sprint store. Stopped in there and they had 2.
Since I recently upgraded to the GS3, I wasn't able for upgrade pricing. They told me the stock was for upgrades only. After a few minutes of chatting, not only did they sell it to me, but they gave it to me for $570. :good:

Bestbuy.com has upgrade stock for 299 now.

No, I meant where did he find that they had it in stock. Lol. I know its on their site, but they don't have any in their inventory. So I was asking if he had uncovered info on having them in stock.

Anyone know if Best Buy will price match Sprint's retail price? I am contemplating selling them back my GS3 for $349 and picking up the Note. I'd rather pay $300 than $450...

Yep, Craigslist is the way to go. You can find one in the $500 dollar range if you're in a decent area instead of paying $703 in the ATT store or over $800 at best buy.

Best buy price match

Does best buy price match? I can get the s3 for 50 on a new contract through tmobile through my jobs discount will tmobile. Only problem is its done online and they have to ship the phone and its a mail in rebate. If i print it out and take it to best buy will they price match and I get the phone same day?

I think they do. But it has to be a published price, so I don't think your employee discount will count. They need like a newspaper ad or to be able to pull up a webpage (like Amazon) by themselves and see the cheaper published price.

Do they match the retail price? If so take the picture of Costco's retail price and bring it in and have them sell you the phone for $350 off contract.

This question isn't even in the wrong section, it's on the wrong website.

Ok heres the thing. Even if they price match or not best buy does not sell the phones at their stores anymore that has to be done online or over the phone. Atleast thats what I was told for my wifes phone which I just got like 2weeks ago on sale for $50 which was a s3 . Maybe just maybe yours might sell it in stores idk. Like I said thats just what I was told. But the bright side is they got shipping for like 5 bucks comes in 3days flat

You can buy Verizon, sprint and at&t in store but T-Mobile you have to order online or they can do it for you. That's how it is over here at least.

Yup same here another silly policy from tmobile, maybe they think you would leave them and join other carriers if your at the store. That tells you how sucky and not confident they are.

It's not a policy made by T-Mobile. By federal law, a retail store cannot sell all 4 main carriers (don't ask me why). Therefore it is up to the resaler to choose which 3 they want to sell. For example, Target chose not to sell Sprint.

I have an International GSM GN and have used this Sprint battery in my phone without using the new back door. I am not sure about the Verizon version.
For those who are asking if this a US specific deal. The answer is yes, this is only for US. I am not a Sprint customer but I was still able to order online from them.

I am not a Sprint customer but I still ordered online and received this battery.

I received mine on the 4th. No, you don't have to be a sprint consumer. Payment is through credit card.

Just ordered this, thought I couldn't before but you can in fact just make an account without being a Sprint customer.
Got the battery for $6.50 which was just the shipping price.
In Google Chrome for the Windows, the buy now key link was dead, so I had to do it in Internet Explorer.
I even got an annoying chat window from a sprint representative asking if I needed help ordering or if I wanted to start a Sprint contract. I'll post again once I receive the battery.

Anyone know if this will fit the gsm variants of the nexus?

Trading in S3

Well, its been a fun ride here with all of you. But its time to kick it up a step and get the S4.
My trade in value is 220.00. I have the 32g S3. So I couldn't pass it up.

Mine isn't in mint condition and has a couple chips on a couple corners. So maybe I'll go the Craigslist route lol. Good to know though, I'll poke my head in a store tomorrow and see what they say. I'll post the results I come up with.

I had a upgrade bout 9 months ago...I wasn't charged a fee...just the taxes on the S4. But I have been with Tmobile for 12 years also.

That's why. If you've been with them for 8+ years, they make exception.
Friend of mine has a connection at T-Mobile and he tried to get it taken care of for me when customer service said no. First thing he asked was if I've been with them at least 8 years.

That's how I got my Galaxy Note 2 today. I only had my Galaxy S3 for 13 months but I still got the Note 2 for free. The catch was I had to increase my plan by $26 for 24 months. I also enrolled in the jump program. So I ended up spending around $60 today and I kept my GS3. They offered me $190 for it.

Honestly, T-Mobile always sells phones a bit more expensive then they actually retail for.
If I had seriously wanted the S4 I'd root my S3 that's in flawless condition with a Balistick SG Maxx case, have it prerooted stock 4.1.2 and sell it for 350$. Then go on eBay turn around and buy the international unlocked version of the S4 for like 250$ more. It's more expensive out right, but much cheaper in the long run.
Been on my mother's T-Mobile phone line since I was a kid and had a Motorola RAZR v3. So more than 12 years for sure when she started using T-Mobile. Somewhere in 1999 I fink.

Correct as this is only a T-Mobile feature also only on Touchwiz ROMs.
