Are you even rooted? What recovery do you have?
I think the ruu error means you need a goldcard.

I have the same version as well .
I too have 1.56.720.2
In the rooting tutorial , RUU for 1.58.707.3 is given. Can't it be used for our version?
Where can one find RUU for our version?

You need to flash stock recovery first and relock bootloader. Than try to run RUU.
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
before you can run the RUU you need to:
1) flash the stock recovery.img
2) flash the stock boot.img (maybe no need)
3) relock the bootloader - fastboot oem lock
4) run RUU
Edit : hlavicka82 is faster
thnks will try + 1

Just try unlocking the bootloader from htcdev.com, don't download any ruu you're on the latest version. Maybe that will solve your problem.
You should then see
****UNLOCKED****
on top of your hboot.
Then try flashing cwm.

if the bootloader is unlocked, check that the CWM recovery u r flashing is speciafically for the wildfire s GSM/CDMA[whichever model u r using]..
might be that u r using an incorrect version of CWM.

:cyclops: I'm using s-on wildchild 3 lastest h-boot, eu-radio from latest rom, unlocked, and is not possible to install it. I tried relocked mode via goldcard, fastboot, etc, etc.... nothing works. I'm pretty sure only s-off devices can install it, otherwise maybe using hex editor you can modifiy something in order to be compatible with eu latest rom, but I don't know how.
