[Q] I cant flash any rom , someone help plz

I cannot login on the market because someone entered who used that phone before me .
So I have to flash a rom RUU or custom but ı cannot load any of them .
even ı upgraded unrevoked to 3.32 but Its same .
when I trying flash RUU rom I get error like that ' bootloader 140 , you already use newest version ' .
when ı trying flash custom rom(LeeDrOiD_V2.4.1_A2SD) on the hboot menu I get error ' assert failed :write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img","boot")
also how can I install amon ra ?
my system :
android 2.2
baseband 32.49.00.32u_5.11.05.27
kernel vers 2.6.32.15
build number 2.33.161.2
I'm really done , I'll throw that phone to damn wall

Are you even rooted? What recovery do you have?
I think the ruu error means you need a goldcard.

and I have clockwork recovery

Are you flashing the rom trough hboot? Or is that a typo?

PVT4 device, i Think.
Use Unrevoked 3.21, download AmonRa 2.0.1 and select it as custom image and try to flash ROMS after that.

It's a Vodafone UK Desire (or at least the ROM on it is)

how can ı install ' recovery-RA-desire-v2.0.0.img ' that file ?
and ı have unrevoked 3.32 is it make any differences ?

shame guys , there is noone to say how can ı install amon ra ?

Just find the zip and fake flash it in recovery.

I have HTC Desire with Android 2.3 NO root & NO s-off!
Desire loaded to lockscreen and goes into a reboot. So every time. In what may be the problem? Can I flash MIUI or other castom Android considering that there is no root?
reflash tried - to no avail.

Did you tried to use wipe data from the recovery ?

No root no s-off on 2.3 = no recovery...
If you don't care about warranty get a goldcard and downgrade to 2.2 with WWE RUU or download 2.3.3 from htcdev

Try a Hard Reset: Go to Fastboot and then Clear Storage no root is needed, take care because it will delete all your phone data.

reflash 2.3.3 from htcdev tried - to no avail (after flashing the same problem - rebooting on lockskreen.)
reflash 2.2 - not work (cant downgrade with HBOOT 1.02..)

after Clear Storage, I can boot up Lockscreen. After flashing can work 2 minutes. If I miss out on all settings, including WiFi and Google is once worked until the first reboot.

I have one more HTC Desire with MIUI (SLCD) and HTC Desire with MIUI (AMOLED)... it can do something to help?
Do not have a gold card. I'll try to do tonight.

So,if you enable WiFi ir reboots ? try ti mount USB storage and try to root with unrevoked then flash CWM

Desire can't boot. I can't mount USB Storage and ON "debugging mod".
Recovery can't boot.
Splashscreen - reboot - splashscreen - reboot...
Bootloader and Fastboot work.
Is there a way to install RECOVERY or get ROOT or S-OFF via Bootloader or Fastboot?

Yes. Install recovery via fastboot. Use android flasher.

Android flasher does not find the connected device. And the device does not Root. And not S - OFF.

Or use revolutionary (http://revolutionary.io/) which will give you S-off, install recovery and root the phone if you follow the full process.
Make sure you read the info page before you begin.

revolutionary need in "debagging mod"... I cant to boot Android on Device... Only splashscreen, fastboot and bootloader...
revolutionary does not find the connection device in fastboot or bootloader mod.

Can you remember whether you had your 'Connect to PC' set to HTC Sync?
If so, you could try to reinstall the official HTC 2.3 update -

Update firmware many time. It does not work. After update Android, Desire boot up screenshot and reboot. Or only splashscreen-reboot-splashscreen-reboot... But Bootloader and Fastboot is working.
Recovery mod does not work. =-(

I can not know type of my htc s710d form china telecom
(is it incredible s or incredible 2)
flashed on it CWM and rom.zip ICS for incredible 2
now my phone still on htc logo
i try to flash it wit alot of ( .ruu flash file ) But it shows error (155)

Vivow is the incredible 2. Shows you're unlocked, but still an s-on hboot. Did you use the revolutionary unlock method from these forums or htc's bootloader unlock?
If you can't get your phone to boot,I would suggest using revolutionary unlock method to remove the s-on status.

Since your s on I would say you used the HTC method. Try booting into recovery or in fast boot and wipe data

I really tried to wipe data But when i flashed it delete old files Without Writes the new files or Flashing
I think it needs to write new flash ruu for example but i cant

Can I work on revolutionary on fastboot mode to change the s-on to s-off
Or that it should be working on USB debugging ?

I just bought my Wildfire S, it is a GSM version btw
It is weird that it comes with Arabic language while my region is Asia
My problem is which stock firmware i should use?

Else root your phone and flash any custom Tom which'l give u more permissions such as outclockin and better performance......

at first i flash it with Asia_WEE, but it says CID not match, which later i created my goldcard and it says main version is older in HBOOT
Then i flash latest RUU which causes my phone to hard bricked... now i need to sent it for JTAG repair...

My HBOOT version is 0.9.xxxx something like that...
RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_Europe_2.26.401.3_Radio_47.23e.35 .3038H_7.57.39.10M_release_261695_signed this is what i used to flash my WFS
When it verifying information on my phone it passed without showing any error, then it proceed to update.
There were no error during the update too...
At the end, it says update success and when it restart, the LCD keep light up and light up for non stop...
and i can't enter bootloader mode...

K... I dnt think u r hard bricked jst gv a last shot ... Can u boot in to hboot.. den go for HTC Dev and unlock ur bootloader den download and flash clockworkmod recovery using command "fastboot flash recovery name.img "
Den install any custom rom jst give it a shot
check out whether ma thnx button wrkz....

The 1st thing that i try when it won't boot is enter HBOOT mode...
and it can't enter HBOOT mode...
Next week i gonna send my phone for JTAG repair...

ok, calm down, everyone has this problem while flashing, i get it so many times, they can cause by the following reasons
bad flash
wrong rom
you forgot to flash the kernel
wrong kernel
messed up the order in flashing
ok,
1.Bad flash-this occurs if the .zip file is corrupted
solution:= re flash the ROM, if still no, download the file again and try
2.wrong ROM- u may have downloaded a ROM that is not for ur device or a ROM which is of not ur description
for example u might me a PRIMO C device/CDMA and u downloaded a PRIMO U/GSM ROM
3.Wrong Kernel-Kernel is the link between ur software and hardware, if u flash the wrong one like the case mentioned above , download the correct one and re flash
4.[ FLASHING YOUR KERNEL SHOULD BE THE LAST STEP][UNLESS U HAVE A S-OFF DEVICE]

Don't forget about cdma problem with the new radio : .0928 instead of the i think it is .0541_2 and that they need to ruu an older radio (just link them the many threads that are already here .

flashing a kernel should be the 1st step mate.. soo u can directly go into recovery after kernel flashing and then proceed with rom and gapps flashing... how on earth are you supposed to go to fastboot from recovery ehh? 1st booting than fukn waiting on the boot screen...
all this voids if u use twrp still.. flashing kernel 1st is highly recommended always and everywhere

I have always flashed ROM, kernel, then gaps. CDMA using twrp MF. . And for the most part, I have no issues. I choose this way because after I flash system and want to reboot, my phone tells me "you have no ROM, are you sure?"

I hope I get a fairly quick response to this Followed some advide in that thread, flashed a kernel (I thought) using the All In One Tool, ever since, I've been stuck in a bootloop. Obviously I have access to my bootloader and TWRP (thankfully). My recovery backup returns the same results though.
Im new to this so I'll try toprovide all the info I can.
Followed the TUT on how to Unlock Bootloader and Root 2 days ago.
Yesterday, using the All In One tool, flashed TWRP onto phone.
Was unable to Flash AOKP JellyBean 4.1.2 so I asked for help again (ROM was flashed, but stuck on Initiating Swagger Boot)
Tried using All-In-One to flash (what I thought was) a kernel, since then, my phone just boots continuously or not at all (depending on if I wipe or whatnot)
While at work, I was able to Flash the AOKP rom and Boot into it, but after about 1 minute of use, it reboots.
This is where I'm at now.
My bootloader says
***UNLOCKED***
PRIMOC PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.57.0000
RADIO- 1.00.05.0929
eMMC-boot

Lol that is one thing that I do knw :laugh: been onlyusing CDMA - PrimoC stuff. I'm now narrowing it down to, I believe, the radio problem? The AOKP ROM did successfully flash, as did everything else, I'm just in a bootloop...

Did u download the fastboot files? And but them in a folder and then use the command prompt?

I've been trying to downgrade the Radio but for some reason, even that isn't working. So I'm currently unable to go back to the stock rom, can't flash any roms, can't do anything but be in the bootloader and be sad.
